Intensity and composition-dependent sign reversal of non-linearity in TiO_2/CeO_2 nanocomposites

CeO2/TiO2 composite nanoparticles with different Ce/Ti molar ratios have been successfully synthesized via sol-gel method. It was found that the band gap of the nanocomposite is tunable by varying Ce/Ti content. The nonlinear response of the sample was studied by using the nanosecond laser pulses from a Q switched Nd：Yag laser employing the Z-scan method. Open aperture Z-scan experiment revealed that with the increase in the CeO2 amount in the nanocomposite, the non-linearity of the composite increases, and it was assumed that this could be due to the modification of TiO2 dipole symmetry by the addition of CeO2. Closed aperture Z-scan experiment showed that when the CeO2 amount increases, positive nonlinear refraction decreases, and this could be attributed to the increase in the two photon absorption which subsequently suppresses the nonlinear refraction.

We present the linear and nonlinear optical studies on TiO2-siO2 nanocomposites with varying compositions. Opti- cal band gap of the material is found to vary with the amount of siO2 in the composite. The phenomenon of two-photon absorption （TPA） in TiO2/siO2 nanocomposites has been studied using open aperture Z-scan technique. The nanocom- posites show better nonlinear optical properties than pure TiO2, which can be attributed to the surface states and weak dielectric confinement of TiO2 nanoparticles by siO2 matrix. The nanocomposites are thermally treated and similar studies are performed. The anatase form of TiO2 in the nanocomposites shows superior properties relative to the amorphous and rutile counterpart. The involved mechanism is explained by rendering the dominant role played by the excitons in the TiO2 nanoparticles.

‘selfie’taking was introduced to the common people by smartphones and has become a common practice across the globe in no *** technological advancement and the popularity of smartphones,selfie-taking has grown rapidly within a short *** light of the new trend set by the generation,this study aimed to explore reasons for selfie-taking and selfie-posting on social media and their effects on the social and psychological lives of young adults.A purposive sampling method was adopted to select 20 Indian citizens,between 18 and 24 *** data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analysed using thematic ***-taking and posting on social media give positive feelings,and it acts as a mood modifier dependent mostly on the favourability and feedback about the post which in turn affects emotions and self-satisfaction.

The 3PAKE(Three-Party Authenticated Key Exchange)protocol is a valuable cryptographic method that offers safe communication and permits two diverse parties to consent to a new safe meeting code using the trusted *** have been explored numerous 3PAKE protocols earlier to create a protected meeting code between users employing the trusted ***,existing modified 3PAKE protocols have numerous drawbacks and are incapable to provide desired secrecy against diverse attacks such as manin-the-middle,brute-force attacks,and many others in social *** this article,the authors proposed an improved as well as safe 3PAKE protocol based on the hash function and the symmetric encryption for the social *** authors utilized a well-acknowledged AVIsPA tool to provide security verification of the proposed 3PAKE technique,and findings show that our proposed protocol is safer in opposition to active as well as passive attacks namely the brute-force,man-in-the-middle,parallel attack,and many ***,compared to other similar schemes,the proposed protocol is built with a reduced computing cost as our proposed protocol consumes less time in execution and offers high secrecy in the social networks with improved *** a result,this verified scheme is more efficient as well as feasible for implementation in the social networks in comparison to previous security *** multifarious authors carried out extensive research on 3PAKE protocols to offer safe communication,still there are vital opportunities to explore and implement novel improved protocols for higher safety in the social networks and mobile commerce environment in the future in opposition to diverse active as well as passive attacks.

We propose to investigate the THz field generation using nonlinear mixing mechanism of laser beat wave with inclined rippled density *** laser pulses with frequencies(ω_(1),ω_(2)) and wave vectors(k_(1),k_(2)) co-propagate and resultant laser beat wave forms at beat frequency(ω_(1)-ω_(2)).Laser beat wave imparts a nonlinear force on the ambient electrons and pushes them outward with nonlinear velocity v_(NL).Coupling of induced density perturbation and nonlinear velocity v_(NL)generates nonlinear currents at laser beat frequency that further generates electromagnetic field E_((ω_(1)-ω_(2))) in terahertz(THz)*** the present scheme,density ripples are introduced at an angle with respect to laser propagation and flat Gaussian index(f) is introduced in laser field profile that transform curved top of Gaussian field envelope into flat top field *** combined effect of flat laser pulses with inclined density ripples in plasmas shows 10-fold enhancement in THz field amplitude when flat-Gaussian index(f) varies from 1 to ***,the THz field intensifies when density ripples inclination increases upto a certain angle and then decreases.

The rapid expansion of Internet of Things(IoT)devices deploys various sensors in different applications like homes,cities and *** applications depend upon the accuracy of sensor ***,it is necessary to predict faults in the sensor and isolate their cause.A novel primitive technique named fall curve is presented in this paper which characterizes sensor *** technique identifies the faulty sensor and determines the correct working of the *** sources of sensor faults are explained in detail whereas various faults that occurred in sensor nodes available in IoT devices are also presented in tabular *** prediction in digital and analog sensors along with methods of sensor fault prediction are *** are several advantages and disadvantages of sensor fault prediction methods and the fall curve ***,some solutions are provided to overcome the limitations of the fall curve *** this paper,a bibliometric analysis is carried out to visually analyze 63 papers fetched from the scopus database for the past five *** novelty is to predict a fault before its occurrence by looking at the fall *** sensing of current flow in devices is important to prevent a major ***,the fall curves of ACs712 current sensors configured on different devices are drawn for predicting faulty or non-faulty *** analysis result proved that if any of the current sensors gets faulty,then the fall curve will differ and the value will immediately drop to *** evaluation metrics for fault prediction are also described in this *** last,this paper also addresses some possible open research issues which are important to deal with false IoT sensor data.
