There are many different production situations that can be employed to meet demand. In the engineer-to- order （ETO） production situation, products are manufac- tured to meet specific customer needs by unique engineering or significant customization. In such an environment, failing to supply the required materials in the right quantities and at the right time increases the risk of breaching due date agreements and thereby losing customer satisfaction. As such, materials management is one of the most important and critical processes within production planning and control in ETO. To bring attention and improvement to this area, ETO companies may benefit from a performance measurement system （PMs） that systematically monitors how well mate- rials management is carried out. The design of a company＇s PMs varies with its production situation. Within the large body of literature on performance management and mea- surement, limited literature specifically addressing perfor- mance measurement in ETO has been identified. After being approached by a Norwegian ETO company requesting a PMs for materials management, the authors therefore set out to design the PMs from scratch, using literature on ETO, materials management and performance management and measurement as a starting point. The paper presents the proposed PMs. It provides a basis for further studies on the topic, and could be used by managers in ETO companies to assess and improve their materials management practice.

Accurate and sensitive determination of hydroxychloroquine sulfate used on COVID-19 patients in human urine,serum and saliva samples by GC-Ms

A rapid,accurate,and sensitive analytical method,ultrasonication-assisted spraying based fine droplet formationeliquid phase microextractionegas chromatographyemass spectrometry(UA-sFDF-LPME-GCMs),was proposed for the determination of trace amounts of hydroxychloroquine sulfate in human serum,urine,and saliva *** determine the best extraction strategy,several liquid and solid phase extraction methods were investigated for their efficiencies in isolation and preconcentration of hydroxychloroquine sulfate from biological *** UA-sFDF-LPME method was determined to be the best extraction method as it was operationally simple and provided accurate *** such as the extraction solvent,spraying number,sodium hydroxide concentration and volume,sample volume,mixing method,and mixing period were optimized for the proposed method using the onevariable-at-a-time *** addition,Tukey’s method based on a post hoc comparison test was employed to evaluate the significant difference between the parameters *** the optimization studies,the limit of detection(LOD)and limit of quantification(LOQ)were determined to be 0.7 and 2.4 mg/kg,*** sensitivity of the GC-Ms system based on the LOD was enhanced approximately 440-fold when the UA-sFDF-LPME method was *** experiments were also conducted for the human serum,urine,and saliva samples to determine the applicability and accuracy of the proposed *** for the human serum,urine,and saliva samples were found to be in the ranges of 93.9%-101.7%,95.2%-105.0%,and 93.1%-102.3%,*** results were satisfactory and indicated that the hydroxychloroquine sulfate level in the above biological samples could be analyzed using the proposed method.

Multimodal hard X-ray scanning probe microscopy has been extensively used to study functional materials providing multiple contrast *** instance,combining ptychography with X-ray fluorescence(XRF)microscopy reveals structural and chemical properties *** ptychography can achieve diffraction-limited spatial resolution,the resolution of XRF is limited by the X-ray probe ***,we develop a machine learning(ML)model to overcome this problem by decoupling the impact of the X-ray probe from the XRF *** enhanced spatial resolution was observed for both simulated and experimental XRF data,showing superior performance over the state-of-the-art scanning XRF method with different nano-sized X-ray *** spatial resolutions were also observed for the accompanying XRF tomography *** this probe profile deconvolution with the proposed ML solution to enhance the spatial resolution of XRF microscopy will be broadly applicable across both functional materials and biological imaging with XRF and other related application areas.

Geotechnical monitoring currently plays a key role in the research of the processes taking place in the ground medium and preventing hazardous *** the case of open-pit mining,several solutions are commonly used to monitor various geotechnical ***,geotechnical situation is usually assessed based on recorded values of deep and surface displacement,which allow to accurately predict *** measurements are most often carried out manually,which,due to the difficult terrain conditions in the case of open-pit mining,are often timeconsuming and complicated,especially taking into account dangerous landslide ***,in order to ensure a higher degree of safety against the risk of landslides,modern solutions are required in the field of geotechnical *** article presents modern automatic measurement techniques,compares various solutions available on the market and illustrates the benefits of their application in open-pit *** also discusses the expansion and modernization of the control and measurement network at KWB Turów,carried out in recent years,as well as the observational method for controlling the efficiency of stackers,developed after the installation of automated measuring stations,with its impact on the geotechnical safety of an internal waste *** paper as a case study presents,what a modern and effective geotechnical monitoring system should look like,which in practice will ensure continuous observation of selected parameters and enable a quick response in the event of a landslide *** but not least,the author focuses on the creation of an innovative landslide early warning system,implemented at KWB Turów.

There are many studies on the solution-processed thin-film transistor(TFT)using transition metal dichalcogenide(TMD)***,it is hard to control the electrical property of chemically exfoliated TMD materials compared to the chemical vapor deposition *** investigation into the electrical modulation behavior of exfoliated two-dimensional(2D)material is important tofabricate weH-modulated electronic devices via solution ***,we report the effects of reactivity of organic dopants on Mos2 and investigate how the chemical doping behavior influences the electrical properties of *** band state of dopants,which is related to the electron-withdrawing and donating behavior of chemical dopant,provides a proportional shift in the threshold voltages(Vth)of their field-effect transistors(FETs).However,on/off current ratio(Ion/Ioff)and mobility(μ)are strongly influenced by the defect density depending on the reactivity of doping reaction,rather than the band state of organic *** the in-depth study on the doping reaction,we fabricate a FET and a TFT,having high mobility and a relatively high on/off ratio(10^(4))using a solution process.

AZ91D,AZ91D+1%Y,and AZ91D+3%Y2O3(mass fraction) alloys were cast,and oxidized between 400 and 500 ℃ in *** oxidation resistance increased in the order of AZ91D,AZ91D+3%Y2O3,and AZ91D+1%Y,indicating that Y was more effective than Y2O3 in increasing the oxidation resistance of the Mg ***,all the alloys tested experienced ignition because the major oxide was MgO.

There were many accidents of large-scale wind turbines disconnecting from power grid in *** singlephase-to-ground fault cannot be correctly detected,single-phase-to-ground fault evolved to phase-to-phase ***-to-phase fault was isolated slowly,thus leading to low *** wind turbines without enough low voltage ride-through capacity had to be disconnected from the *** some wind turbines being disconnected from the grid,overvoltage caused by reactive power surplus made more wind turbines disconnect from the *** on the accident analysis,this paper presents solutions to above problems,including travelling waves based single-phase-to-ground protection,adaptive low voltage protection,integrated protection and control,and high impedance fault *** solutions lay foundations in theory and technology to prevent large-scale wind turbines disconnecting from the operating power grid.

As there is substantial progress in the KsTAR tokamak engineering, all themajor structures and sub-systems are under fabrication and in procurement phase. The vacuum vessel,port, cryostat cylinder, lid, and bellows are being rigorously fabricated in the factory. The lowerpart of the KsTAR such as cryostat base and gravity support has been almost finished in itsfabrication. There are also great progresses and significant results in manufacturing of thesuperconducting magnet, including four Toroidal Field (TF) coils, lower and upper PF7 coils whichare the largest Poloidal Field (PF) coils. The TFOO coil, which has been made for test and back-upof the TF magnet system, was successfully tested in the cool-down and current charging. As thefabrications and procurements of major structures have been actively proceeded, assembly works werealso launched from Aug. 2003. More detailed description on these status, results, and plans will bedescribed in this paper.
