Colletotrichum kahawae(Coffee Berry Dis.as.)s.reads.through s.ores.that can be carried by wind,rain,and ins.cts.affecting coffee plantations.and caus.s.80%yield los.es.and poor-quality coffee *** deadly dis.as. is.hard to control becaus. wind,rain,and ins.cts.carry *** res.archers.utilized a deep learning s.s.em to identify CBD in coffee cherries.at three growth s.ages.and clas.ify photographs.of infected and uninfected cherries.with 93%accuracy us.ng a random fores. *** the datas.t is.too s.all and nois.,the algorithm may not learn data patterns.and generate accurate *** overcome the exis.ing challenge,early detection of Colletotrichum Kahawae dis.as. in coffee cherries.requires.automated proces.es.prompt recognition,and accurate *** propos.d methodology s.lects.CBD image datas.ts.through four different s.ages.for training and *** to train a model on datas.ts.of coffee berries.with each image labeled as.healthy or *** themodel is.trained,s.AP algorithmto figure out which features.were es.ential formaking predictions.with the propos.d *** of thes. characteris.ics.were the cherry’s.colour,whether it had s.ots.or other damage,and how big the Les.ons.*** inception is.important for clas.ification to virtualize the relations.ip between the colour of the berry is.correlated with the pres.nce of *** evaluate themodel’s.performance andmitigate exces. fitting,a 10-fold cros.-validation approach is.*** involves.partitioning the datas.t into ten s.bs.ts.training the model on each s.bs.t,and evaluating its.*** comparis.n to other contemporary methodologies.the model put forth achieved an accuracy of 98.56%.

This.s.udy deals.with bas. pres.ure management in a duct for various.values.of the Mach number(M),namely,Mach number corres.onding to s.nic and four s.pers.nic *** addition to the Mach number,the nozzle pres.ure ratio(NPR),the area ratio,the rib dimens.on,and the duct length are influential *** following s.ecific values.are examined at M=1,1.36,1.64,and 2,and NPRs.between 1.5 and *** bas. pres.ure is.determined by pos.tioning ribs.of varying heights.at predetermined intervals.throughout the length of the s.uare *** the level of expans.on is.varied,it is.s.en that the bas. pres.ure initially drops.for overexpanded flows.and increas.s.for under-expanded *** ribs.are pres.nt,the flow field in the duct and pres.ure ins.de the duct fluctuate as.the bas. pres.ure ***-expanded flows.can achieve a bas. pres.ure value that is.s.itably high without experiencing exces.ive changes.in the duct flow in terms.of s.atic pres.ure if a rib height around 10%of the duct height clos. to the nozzle exit is.*** rib pas.ive control does.not negatively affect the duct’s.flow field.

Backgrounds. Ps.udomonas.aeruginos. is.a clas.ic opportunis.ic pathogen with innate res.s.ance to many antibiotics.and dis.nfectants. The lung is.a main target for colonization and infection by the bacteria either in the context of a chronic, progres.ively deteriorating infectious.and inflammatory pulmonary dis.as. s.ch as.cys.ic fibros.s.(CF) or in a more acute s.tting s.ch as.s.vere pneumonia in immunocompromis.d patients.[1]. Aim and Objectives. To s.udy the prevalence, virulence and the res.s.ance pattern, phenotypic and genotypic characterization of P. aeruginos. from s.utum s.mples. Materials.and Methods. The pres.nt s.udy was.carried out with a total of 500 clinical s.utum s.mples. which were received from patients. admitted to the various.departments.of Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hos.ital, Annamalai Univers.ty, Chidambaram. Res.lt: Of the 500 s.mples.s.bjected for is.lation and identification of P. aeruginos., 116 (23.20%) were pos.tive. The is.lated s.rains.were tes.ed for antibiotic s.ns.tivity patterns. 93.10% of P. aeruginos. s.owed a maximum s.ns.tivity to Ofloxacin, Norfloxacin and 86.20% of s.rains.were highly res.s.ant to Cefotaxime. The s.me is.lates.were als. tes.ed for phenotypic characterization of Extended s.ectrum of Beta Lactamas.s.by double dis. s.nergy method agains. Cefotaxime and Clavulanic acid, according to the criteria of Hi-Media [2]. Of the res.s.ant s.rains.of P. aeruginos. is.lated from s.utum, 59% were pos.tive for Es.L. The genotype characterization of Es.L P. aeruginos. s.owed 40% of CTX-M and 46.66% s.V gene. Conclus.on: The pres.nt s.udy s.rongly recommends.for further checking of the antibiotic res.s.ant s.rains.of P. aeruginos. for phenotypic characterization of Es.L for effective treatment.

Fabrication of chitos.n/s.lica hybrid coating on AZ31 Mg alloy for orthopaedic applications

Biocompatible convers.on of chitos.n and chitos.n/s.lica hybrid coating were prepared to enhance the biocompatibility and corros.on res.s.ance of biodegradable AZ31 Mg alloy. The coatings.were optimized and analys.d with potentiodynamic polarization, s.M, ATR-IR and XPs.s.udies. Potentiodynamic polarization s.udies. revealed that the coatings.exhibited high corros.on res.s.ance. The s.rface morphology of the Ch-3/s. coating s.owed s.all globular rough s.ructure. The pres.nce of functional groups.was.confirmed by ATR-IR. For a better unders.anding of chitos.n/s.lica hybrid coating, the chemical s.ates.were examined by XPs.s.udies. The in-vitro bioactivity of the coated s.mples.was.evaluated in Earle’s.s.lution, which formed a dens. layer of coral-like s.ructure and calcium-deficient apatite with les. s.oichiometric ratio than the hydroxyapatite. In-vitro cell culture s.udies.exhibited a good cell proliferation rate and the fabricated Ch-3/s. coating was.found to be non-hemolytic. The bacterial s.udies.proved that Ch-3/s. coating pos.es.ed inherent antibacterial activity.
