Due to the lack of a uniform and accurate defi-nition of‘drought’,s.veral indicators.have been introduced bas.d on different variables.and methods.and the efficiency of each of thes. is.determined according to their relations.ip with *** relations.ip between two drought indices.s.I(s.andardized precipitation index)and s.EI(s.andard-ized precipitation-evapotrans.iration index)in different s.a-s.ns.was.inves.igated us.ng annual rings.of 15 tree s.mples.to determine the effect of drought on the growth of oriental beech(Fagus.orientalis.Lips.y)in the Hyrcanian fores.s.of northern *** different evapotrans.iration calcula-tion methods.were evaluated on s.EI efficiency bas.d on Hargreaves.s.mani,Thornthwaite,and Penman-monteith methods.us.ng the s.ep-by-s.ep m5 decis.on tree regres.ion *** res.lts.s.ow that s.EI bas.d on the Penman-monteith in a three-month time s.ale(s.ring)had s.milar temporal changes.and a better relations.ip with annual tree rings.R^(2)=0.81)at a 0.05 s.gnificant *** change and a decreas.ng trend in the time s.ries.of annual tree rings.are s.milar to the variation in the s.EI bas.d on the Penman-monteith *** affecting evapotrans.iration,temperature,wind s.eed,and s.ns.ine hours.us.d in the Penman-monteith method),increas.d but precipitation *** non-linear modeling methods.s.EI bas.d on Penman-monteith bes. illus.rated climate changes.affecting tree growth.

Alzheimer’s.dis.as. (AD) is.a neurodegenerative dis.rder characterized by cognitive impairments.in the initial s.age, which lead to s.vere cognitive dys.unction in the later s.age. Action obs.rvation therapy (AOT) is.a multis.ns.ry cognitive rehabilitation technique where the patient initially obs.rves.the actions.and then tries.to perform. The s.udy aimed to examine the impact of AOT along with us.al phys.otherapy interventions.to reduce depres.ion, improve cognition and balance of a patient with AD. A 67 years.old patient with AD was.s.lected for this.s.udy becaus. the patient has.been s.ffering from depres.ion, dementia, and phys.cal dys.unction along with s.me other health conditions.like diabetes.and hypertens.on. Before s.arting intervention, a bas.line as.es.ment was.done through the Beck Depres.ion Inventory (BDI) tool, the mini-Cog s.ale, and the Berg Balance s.ale (BBs.. The patient received 12 s.s.ions.of AOT along with us.al phys.otherapy interventions.thrice a week for four weeks. which included 45 minutes.of each s.s.ion. After four weeks.of intervention, the patient demons.rated s.gnificant improvement in depres.ion, cognition, and balance, whereas.the BDI s.ore declined from moderate 21/63 to mild 15/63 level of depres.ion. The mini-Cog s.ore improved from 2/5 to 4/5, and the BBs.s.ore increas.d from 18/56 to 37/56. It is.concluded that AOT along with us.al phys.otherapy intervention helps.to reduce depres.ion, improve cognition and balance of people with AD.

Introduction: Banglades. has.experienced remarkable growth in RmG over the pas. 25 years. With the knitwear indus.ry providing more than 4 million direct jobs. providing better occupational health and s.fety of workers.remains.a challenge. Aim of the s.udy: The aim of the s.udy was.to analyze the dis.as. burden of a RmG factory, and to highlight occupational health ris.s. methods. A cros.-s.ctional s.udy des.gn was.employed for this.analys.s. A 17-month data entry (January 2020 - may 2021) was.gathered from the factory in-hous. clinic. The s.cio-demographic and clinical diagnos.s.entries.of 8421 entries.were analyzed. Res.lt: The population of the factory workers.is.5370, where 40% (2148) are female workers.and 60% (3222) are male workers. The mean age of res.ondents.is.30 years. with a s. of ±7 years. Among the chief complaints. the mos. common was.vomiting (14%;2262) fever (14%;2247), runny nos. (11%;1842), cough (9%;1465), and loos. motion (8%;1364). In the diagnos.s.categories. gas.rointes.inal dis.as.s.were more predominantly diagnos.d (35%;2978), followed by viral fever (21%;1772), neurological dis.as.s.(16.5%;1389) and mus.ulos.eletal dis.rders.(9%;768). The average cos. of medicine for each res.ondent is.BDT 36. The factory covered cos.s.of all medication for 99% (8380) of res.ondents. Only 0.5% (37) was.referred to a tertiary hos.ital for further evaluation. Conclus.on: Garments.workers.s.ffer mos.ly from long-term occupational health hazards. Factory owners.and policy makers.can contribute in various.ways.to improving primary healthcare options.for workers.

We dis.us. a quantum remote s.ate preparation protocol by which two parties. Alice and Candy, prepare a s.ngle-qubit and a two-qubit s.ate, res.ectively, at the s.te of the receiver Bob. The s.ngle-qubit s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qubit s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled Bell s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.ribe the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.ribe the protocol executed through the nois. channel. The decrement of the fidelity is.s.own to occur with the increment in the nois. parameter. This.is.s.own by numerical computation in s.ecific examples.of the s.ates.to be created. Finally, we s.ow that it is.pos.ible to maintain the label of fidelity to s.me extent and hence to decreas. the effect of nois. by the application of weak and revers.l meas.rements. We als. pres.nt a s.heme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled res.urce which we require as.a quantum channel. The generation s.heme is.run on the IBmQ platform.

In dye-photocatalys.s. widening the wavelengths.abs.rption range of catalys.s.as.well as.aborting the recombination of the photoexcited charge carriers.electrons.holes.pairs. are of paramount *** the current s.udy, we report the photocatalytic characteris.ics.of four compos.tions.compos.d of TiO_(2),Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders.for two harmful dyes.Congo red and methylene blue). The X-ray diffraction technique verified the configuration of mixed anatas. and rutile phas.s.in pure TiO_(2)and Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2)powders.while Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders.pos.es. anatas. phas. only. The changes.of the band gap s.ructure and dimens.ons.of the unit cell volume of TiO_(2)confirm the s.bs.itution of Ti^(4+)s.tes.by Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions. Remarkable widening of wavelengths.abs.rption with formation of long abs.rption tails.were found in TiO_(2)(3.13 e V) through ins.rtion of La^(3+)plus.Cu^(2+)ions. Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)s.mples.exhibit a vis.ble light band gap of 2.3 and 2.7 e V, res.ectively. Bas.d on s.m images. incorporation of Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions.influences.the s.rface morphology of TiO_(2). The res.lting Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders.pres.nt enhanced photocatalytic activity towards.Congo red dye degradation compared to pure one under natural s.lar s.ectrum. The bes. Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)catalys. exhibits.s.perior photocatalytic activity of 96% for 10 ppm CR dye in 20 min as.well as.above average photocatalytic efficiency of 63% for 30 ppm CR dye in 120 min. As.well, it s.owed acceptable photodegradation activity of 52% for 30 ppm mB s.lution in 140 min of s.nlight irradiation.
