Background As.the m.s. widely cultivated fiber crop,cotton production depends.on hybridization to unlock the yield potential of current varieties.A deep unders.anding of genetic dis.ection is.crucial for the cultivation of enhanced hybrid plants.with des.red traits.s.ch as.high yield and fine fiber *** this.s.udy,the general com.ining ability(GCA)and s.ecific com.ining ability(s.A)of yield and fiber quality of nine cotton parents.s.x lines.and three tes.ers.and eighteen F1 cros.es.produced us.ng a line×tes.er m.ting des.gn were *** The res.lts.revealed s.gnificant effects.of genotypes.parents.cros.es.and interactions.between parents.and cros.es.for m.s. of the s.udied ***,the effects.of both additive and non-additive gene actions.played a notably s.gnificant role in the inheritance of m.s. of the yield and fiber quality *** F1 hybrids.of(Giza 90×Aus.)×Giza 86,Uzbekis.an 1×Giza 97,and Giza 96×Giza 97 dem.ns.rated s.perior perform.nce due to their favorable integration of high yield attributes.and prem.um.fiber quality *** analys.s.revealed that lint yield has.the highes. pos.tive direct effect on s.ed cotton yield,while lint percentage s.owed the highes. negative direct effect on s.ed cotton *** com.onent analys.s.identified s.ecific parents.and hybrids.as.ociated with higher cotton yield,fiber quality,and other agronom.c *** This.s.udy provides.ins.ghts.into identifying potential s.ngle-and three-way cros. hybrids.with s.perior cotton yield and fiber quality characteris.ics.laying a foundation for future res.arch on im.roving fiber quality in cotton.

The m.in objective of this.work was.to m.dify the m.cros.ructure and enhance the tribological properties.of a new Zn-4s. al-loy through a high s.lidification cooling rate(s.R).According to the res.lts.by increas.ng the s.R from.2.0 to 59.5℃/s.the average s.ze of prim.ry s. particles.and that of the grains.reduced from.76.1 and 3780μm.to les. than about 14.6 and 460μm.***-ing the s.R als. enhanced the m.cros.ructural hom.geneity,decreas.d the poros.ty content(by 50%),and increas.d the m.trix hardnes.(by 36%).Thes. m.cros.ructural changes.enhanced the tribological *** ins.ance,under the applied pres.ure of 0.5 m.a,an in-creas. in the s.R from.2.0 to 59.5℃/s.decreas.d the wear rate and the average friction coefficient of the alloy by 57%and 23%,*** wear m.chanis. was.als. changed from.the s.vere delam.nation,adhes.on,and abras.on in the s.owly-cooled alloy to the m.ld tribolayer delam.nation/abras.on in the high-cooling-rate-s.lidified s.m.le.

Five perovs.ite ceram.cs.s.m.les.of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)s.O_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were s.nthes.zed us.ng the conventional s.lid-s.ate reaction *** prepared s.m.les.were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier trans.orm.0}infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis.*** s.ielding properties.agains. ionizing radiation were als. *** XRD analys.s.s.ows.the perovs.ite cubic s.ructure as.the m.jor phas. in all *** FTIR reveals.a dis.inctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) as.ribed to the antis.m.etric O-s.-O ***-Vis.s.ectros.opy was.us.d to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffus. reflectance,and the res.lts.dis.lay a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray s.ielding properties.of the s.nthes.zed s.m.les.were experim.ntally m.as.red and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences.Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values.are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads.to the enhanced dens.ty,neutron,and gam.a s.ielding *** contras.,charged particles.s.ielding param.ters.gradually reduce with ris.ng Er *** res.lts.s.gges. that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)s.O_(3) s.m.les.can be us.d in different radiation s.ielding applications.

We aim.d to as.ertain the prevalence of genitourinary clinical s.gns.and s.m.tom.0}am.ng long-term.African m.grants.in a non-endem.c European country us.ng a s.rology *** We carried out a pros.ective, com.unity-bas.d cros.-s.ctional s.udy of adult m.le m.grants.from.s.b-s.haran Africa living in *** s.rology tes.s.and m.cros.opic urine exam.nations.were carried out, and clinical data were obtained from.an electronic m.dical record s.arch and a s.ructured *** We included 388 adult m.les. m.an age 43.5 years.[s.andard Deviation (s.) = 12.0, range: 18–76]. The m.dian tim. s.nce m.gration to the European Union was.17 [Interquartile range (IQR): 11–21] years. The m.s. frequent country of origin was.s.negal (N = 179, 46.1%). Of the 338, 147 (37.6%) tes.ed pos.tive fors.his.os.m.. Paras.te eggs.were pres.nt in the urine of only 1.3%. Nine genitourinary clinical item.0}were s.gnificantly as.ociated with pos.tives.his.os.m. s.rology res.lts. pelvic pain (45.2%;OR = 1.57, 95%CI: 1.0–2.4), pain on ejaculation (14.5%;OR = 1.85, 95%CI: 1.0–3.5), dys.areunia (12.4%;OR = 2.45, 95%CI: 1.2–5.2), erectile dys.unction (9.5%;OR = 3.10, 95%CI: 1.3–7.6), s.lf-reported epis.des.of infertility (32.1%;OR = 1.69, 95%CI: 1.0–2.8), haem.turia (55.2%;OR = 2.37, 95%CI: 1.5–3.6), dys.ria (52.1%;OR = 2.01, 95%CI: 1.3–3.1), undiagnos.d s.ndrom.c s.Is.(5.4%), and orchitis.(20.7%;OR = 1.81, 95%CI: 1.0–3.1). The Es. and CAs.s.ILE m.s.ion orbit is.highly elliptical and will pas. through m.ltiple radiation *** s.ft X-ray Im.ger(s.I)ins.rum.nt aboard has.a radiation s.utter door des.gned to clos. when the s.rrounding radiation flux is.*** s.utter door will clos. when pas.ing below an altitude thres.old to protect agains. trapped particles.in the Earth’s.Van Allen ***,two radiation environm.nts.can be approxim.ted bas.d on the s.utter door pos.tion:open and *** ins.rum.nt background for the CCDs.Charge-Coupled Devices.that form.the focal plane array of the s.I were evaluated for the two *** to the correlation of the s.ace environm.nt with the s.lar cycle,the s.lar m.nim. and m.xim.,the background was.als. evaluated at thes. two *** res.lts.dem.ns.rated that the highes. ins.rum.nt background will occur during s.lar m.nim. due to the m.in contributing s.urce being Galactic Cos.ic Rays.GCRs..It was.als. found that the open background was.highes. for s.lar m.nim. and that the clos.d background was.highes. during s.lar *** is.due to the radiation s.utter door acting as.a s.attering centre and the changes.in the energy flux dis.ribution of the GCRs.between the two s.lar extrem.s.
