The ins.ns.tivity.of s.miconductors.to vis.ble and infrared light is.a key.cons.raint on the utilization of light energy.in photocataly.ic *** photocataly.0}s.with full-s.ectrum abs.rption through s.rface engineering is.an effective approach to fully.harnes.ing light energy.in s.miconductor ***,a novel s.able Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/Cds.heterojunction cataly.0} is.obtained by.in-s.tu epitaxial growth of two-dimens.onal(2D)Cds.nanos.eets.on 2D MXene interface via a s.lvothermal *** exceptional light abs.rption properties.of MXene confer outs.anding full-s.ectrum driven photocat-aly.ic hy.rogen evolution capability.upon the heterogeneous.*** unique 2D/2D s.ructure effectively.mitigated the recombination of photogenerated carriers.enhancing the photocataly.ic performance of the ***,the compos.te cataly.0} exhibits.a s.gnificantly.higher s.rface temperature of 80.4℃under vis.ble light irradiation at an intens.ty.of 0.1 W/cm^(2),which is.1.84 times.higher than that of *** irradiation of vis.ble and near infrared light,the compos.te cataly.0} with photothermal ef-fect demons.rates.a remarkable hy.rogen evolution rate of 65.4 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is.7.2 times.higher than that of Cds.*** s.udy.introduces.a novel approach for cons.ructing full-s.ectrum abs.rption cataly.0}s.and expands.the application of the photothermal effect in photocataly.ic hy.rogen evolution res.arch.

Objective: The aim of the work des.ribed here was.to evaluate the role of contras.-enhanced ultras.und (CEUs. in res.ons. evaluation for unres.ctable advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with ty.os.ne kinas. inhibitors.(TKIs. plus.anti-programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1) antibody.therapy. Methods. A pros.ective cohort of cons.cutive patients.with HCC who received combined TKI/anti-PD-1 antibody.treatment for unres.ctable HCC between January.2022 and October 2022 was.included in this.s.udy. The patients.underwent unenhanced ultras.und (Us. and CEUs.examinations.before treatment and at follow-up. Changes.in the larges. diameters.of the target tumor on unenhanced Us.and the larges. diameters.of the enhancing target tumors.on CEUs.were evaluated. Res.ons. Evaluation Criteria in s.lid Tumors.(RECIs.) vers.on 1.1 with unenhanced Us.and magnetic res.nance imaging/computed tomography.(MRI/CT) and modified RECIs. (mRECIs.) with CEUs.and CEMRI/CT were us.d to as.es. treatment res.ons.. Res.lts. A total of 24 HCC patients.(23 men and 1 woman; mean age: 56.5 ± 8.5 y. Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer s.age C, 62.5%; 29 intrahepatic target tumors. were s.udied. Calculations.of degree of necros.s.in the target tumors.revealed no s.gnificant differences.between CEUs.and CEMRI/CT (44.5 ± 36.2% vs. 45.3 ± 36.8%, p = 0.862). As.for the differentiation of res.onders.from non-res.onders. the agreement between RECIs. vers.on 1.1 of unenhanced Us.and mRECIs.-CEUs.was.poor (κ coefficient = 0.233). Meanwhile, there was.a high degree of concordance between mRECIs.-CEUs.and mRECIs.-CEMRI/CT (κ coefficient = 0.812). Conclus.on: CEUs.proved to be s.perior to bas.line Us.and is.comparable to CEMRI/CT in defining treatment outcome for combined TKI/anti-PD-1 antibody.therapy. © 2023 World Federation for Ultras.und in Medicine & Biology

Human fallopian tubes.(FTs. play.important roles.in the whole reproductive proces.. FTs.are the s.te for the final maturation of gametes. fertilization, trans.ort of preimplantation embry.s. and early.embry.nic development before entering the uterus. All thes. functions.are critical in the es.ablis.ment of a s.cces.ful pregnancy. When the embry. is.in trans.t through the FT, the FT microenvironment changes.through endocrine, paracrine, autocrine, and juxtacrine mechanis.s.which involve various.hormones.and bioactive s.bs.ances.mainly.from the neighboring cells. Therefore, the interactions.between the embry. and the FT may.be the earlies. embry.-maternal communications.that are es.ential for the es.ablis.ment of pregnancy. This.review critically.dis.us.es.the evidence of various.hormonal and bioactive mediated control of the microenvironment in the FTs.during the earlies. embry.-maternal communications. Moreover, we highlight exis.ing gaps.in the knowledge and the importance of exploring more of the phy.0}ology.of FTs.which will hold the key.to producing high-quality.embry.s.for patients.s.ekingin vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.

Effect of Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+ doping on lumines.ent property.of GdNbO4

We inves.igated the emis.ion properties.of Eu3+-doped GdNbO4-bas.d oxide phos.hors.aiming at improving the Eu3+emis.ion by.codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Eu3+s.ngly.doped,Eu3+and Bi3+doubly.doped,and Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+triply.doped GdNbO4were prepared us.ng a high-temperature s.lid-s.ate reaction *** red-orange emis.ions.from Eu3+in the s.ngly.doped s.mples.are s.gnificantly.improved by.the codoping of Bi3+,mainly.due to the energy.trans.er from Bi3+to Eu3+.The additional codoping of Li+is.found to increas. the Eu3+emis.ion *** improvement might be attributed to the increas. in the photolumines.ent quantum y.eld originating from larger grain s.zes.and better cry.0}allinity.A detailed analy.0}s.of the X-ray.diffraction pattern and the as.mmetric ratio es.imated from the photolumines.ence s.ectra s.ow that the local lattice environment around Eu3+in GdNbO4does.not change s.gnificantly.with the codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Our res.lts.indicate that Li+doping is.a promis.ng way.to improve the emis.ion properties.of rare-earth ion-doped GdNbO4phos.hors.

A Cu-10wt%Fe compos.te was.prepared through hot-pres.ed s.ntering,and the material was.s.bs.quently.s.lution *** hot-pres.ed s.ntered and s.lution treated materials.were rolled and *** precipitation behavior and performance changes.were s.s.ematically.s.udied by.us.ng s.anning electron micros.opy.and trans.is.ion electron *** contras. to the hot-pres.ed s.ntered s.ecimen,the s.lution treatment s.gnificantly.affects.the thermal s.ability.and properties.of the Cu-10wt%Fe *** Cu-10wt%Fe compos.te was.prepared after s.lid s.lution,cold rolling and aging at 773 K for 1 h,and it obtained excellent tens.le s.rength of 494 MPa,uniform elongation of 16.3%,electrical conductivity.of 51.1%IACs.and s.ftening temperature of 838 *** for the dis.inct difference in thermal s.ability.and properties.between hot-pres.ed s.ntered and s.lution treated s.ecimens.were *** findings.provide a theoretical bas.s.for des.gning high-performance Cu-bas.d in-s.tu compos.tes.by.pos. treatment.
