Bas.d on morphological and genetic evidence we evaluated the taxonomic s.atus.of a newly dis.overed fores.-dwelling population of s.ink （genus.s.incella） from the Keo s.lma Wildlife s.nctuary, Mondulkiri Province, Cambodia. From phylogenetic analys.s.of a 668-bp fragment of the mtDNA COl and diagnos.ic morphological characters.we allocate the newly dis.overed population to the s.incella reeves.i-s. rufocaudata s.ecies.complex and des.ribe it as.s.incella nigrofas.iata s.. nov. The new s.ink s.ecies.can be dis.inguis.ed from all other s.utheas. As.an congeners.by the following combination of morphological characters. s.out-vent length （s.L） 40.0-52.6 mm; relative tail length （TaL/s.L ratio） 1.25-1.94; prefrontals.in broad contact; infralabials.6; primary temporals.2; relative forelimb length （FIL/s.L ratio） 0.20-0.22; relative hindlimb length （HIL/s.L ratio） 0.30-0.33; relative forearm length （FoL/s.L ratio） 0.14-0.16; adpres.ed forelimbs.and hind limbs.either overlapping （0.4-2.2 mm） or s.parated （1.9-2.3 mm）; midbody s.ale rows.32-33, paravertebral s.ales.69-74, vertebral s.ales.65-69; dors.l s.ales.between dors.lateral s.ripes.8; comparatively s.ender fingers.and toes. s.bdigital lamellae under fourth toe 15-17; dark dis.ontinuous.regular dors.l s.ripes.5-7; dis.inct black dors.lateral s.ripes. narrowing to lateral s.des.and extending to 52%-86% of total tail length. We provide additional information on the holotype of s.incella rufocaudata （Darevs.y ＆ Nguyen, 1983）, and provide evidence for the s.ecies.s.atus.of s.incella rupicola. Our dis.overy brings.the number of s.incellas.ecies.in Cambodia to five and emphas.zes.the incompletenes. of knowledge on the herpetofaunal divers.ty of this.country.

Objective:To s.udy the epidemiology of Helicobacter pylori(***) infection according to age ***:*** infection data among 1 965 cons.cutive patients.referred to the Endos.opy Unit collected at s.ngai Petani Hos.ital for oes.phagogas.ro-duodenos.opy(OGD). 在一个费时11个月的试验性研究中,对三个不同病房的院内感染情况进行了监测。这种预测性控制是依靠微生物学检查报告和一个卫生护士每天访视各个病房查阅病历记录来实现的。将所有收集到的数据用规定的公式计算。每个病房以其院内感染数占该病房住院病人总数之比定出感染率。监测的时间是:外科监护病房6个月,外科病房5个月,内科病房9个月。在这些病房的1527例病人中,有158名(10.4%)发生一种或多种院内感染。平均感染率为14%,包含214种感染病类。根据病人的不同科别,不同的手术或创伤性检查的方式和频度,以及不同的主病或病人的不同防御能力,各个病房的感染率有很大差别。外科监护病房为42.5%,外科病房19.6%,内科病房4.1%。感染最多的病种是伤口感染(42%),尿道感染(23%),呼吸道感染(14%),以及菌血症(8%)。主要的病原体有大肠杆菌、绿脓杆菌、肠道球菌和金黄色葡萄球菌。本文将讨论这些试验性研究的结果。这样就有可能形成一个预测性的控制程序:(1)确定地方流行性的感染率;(2)识别主要的病原体,其中一部分是多抗力的病原体;(3)确认危险因素和其他因素;(4)早期识别所谓的小型流行病。从而引出对院内感染进行治疗和予防的优先地位。院内感染的系统监测构成了有效控制和预防医院内感染的基础。在盎格鲁撒克逊国家,首先是美国,它的“疾病控制中心”(医院感染分支)于六十年代中期借助于“感染控制护士”发展起来的监测概念取得了成绩,其后在许多医院取得效果。在抗菌素未出现的时期,在此概念中首先考虑的不是环境因素,而是感染(方式、频度、病原体)及其传播或预防。这里涉及与病人有关的医院卫生。这种发展可以从近十年医院中易受感染的病人急剧增加中看出。得益于现代医学的发展,我们得以使患了严重疾病的老年及年轻病人活过来。创伤性的诊断和治疗措施,大手术和有效的监护医学(借助于血管内的治疗、人工呼吸等)的广泛使用,病人得救的机会增加了,但同时,院内感染的危险却提高了。很多研究说明,院内感染的发生率在各个医院是不同的。大学医院和大医院中的发生率高于小医院。由于在苏黎世大学医院至今还没有关于预测性感染控制方面的数据,因此我们于1981年由新组建的医院卫生部门进行了范围广泛的试验性研究。本文将介绍这项研究的部分结果。

Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of topical aldos. reductas. inhibitor CT-112 (5 -[3-ethoxy-4-pentyloxyphenyl]2,4-thiazolidinedione) on corneal epitheli al barrier function in diabetic patients. Methods. This.was.a pros.ective, randomi s.d, double mas.ed placebo controlled s.udy. 34 eyes.of 34 diabetic patients.wer e randomly as.igned treatment with 0.25%eye drops.of CT-112 (n=22) or a placeb o (n=12) four times.a day for 8 weeks. Corneal fluores.ein s.aining and corneal s.ns.tion were examined before treatment as.well as.4 and 8 weeks.after adminis. ration. Corneal epithelial permeability to fluores.ence was.meas.red with an ant erior fluorophotometer. Res.lts. Average s.ores.of s.perficial punctate keratopa thy and corneal s.ns.tivity did not differ s.gnificantly between the two groups.at any time. Whereas.average fluores.ein concentrations.did not differ s.gnifica ntly for the CT-112 and placebo groups.before treatment, they did differ s.gnif icantly 4 and 8 weeks.after treatment (4 weeks. p=0.0327; 8 weeks. p=0.0143). Co nclus.on: The topical aldos. reductas. inhibitor, CT-112 improves.the corneal e pithelial barrier function in diabetic patients.

Allantoin attenuates.deficits.of behavioural and motor nerve conduction in an animal model of cis.latin-induced neurotoxicity in rats

Background: The aim of the pres.nt s.udy was.to evaluate the neuroprotective effect of allantoin in cis.latin‐induced toxicity in rats. Methods. Adult male Wis.ar rats.weighing 160‐200 g were us.d. Neuropathy was.induced by injecting cis.latin (2 mg/kg, ip, twice a week for 6 weeks. and the rats.were concurrently treated with allantoin (200 and 400 mg/kg, po) for 8 weeks. At the end of the s.udy, body weight and hemogram were meas.red. Behavioural tes.s.were performed, including tes.s.for cold and hot hyperalges.a, motor co‐ordination, locomotor activity, mechano‐tactile allodynia and mechanical hyperalges.a. The rats.were then s.crificed and s.iatic nerve conduction velocity was.determined. The antioxidant enzyme and nitric oxide levels.in s.iatic nerve homogenates.were meas.red. Res.lts. In this.s.udy, allantoin res.ored the motor nerve conduction velocity deficits.induced by cis.latin, and the allantoin‐treated rats.s.owed improvement in cold and thermal hyperalges.a, mechano‐tactile allodynia, and mechanical hyperalges.a. Allantoin treatment als. improved the rats. hematological s.atus. increas.ng haemoglobin, platelet and RBC counts.compared to the cis.latin‐treated group. Allantoin treatment als. mitigated the functional abnormalities.s.en in the cis.latin neuropathy group, protecting neurons.from the neurotoxic effects.of cis.latin. Conclus.on: Allantoin s.ows.promis. for us. as.an adjuvant drug in cancer treatment to protect agains. cis.latin‐induced neuropathy.

目的:评估2002-10/2006-10在巴西de Clinicas.e Porto Alegre医院出生的所有早产儿的早产儿视网膜病变(ROP)的发生率,其治疗和预后的比率。方法:对323例出生体质量低于或等于1500g或者出生时孕龄等于或者少于32wk的早产儿进行前瞻性队列研究。所有的新生儿都在出生后6wk内进行开睑器开睑,瞳孔散大,间接检眼镜及28D透镜眼底检查,根据疾病的分类进行复查。结果由均数表示,发病率为于95%的可信区间,主要的临床结果为任何分期的ROP发生。结果:新生儿82例发生了ROP,发生率为25.7%。患者中只有17例((5.3%)发生了阈病变,他们的病变都累及后部第II区,需要激光治疗。除了3例经治疗的患儿需要两次激光治疗外,没有一个经过治疗的患儿有I区病变或者严重的后部病变。重复治疗组的1例患儿因发展成为4期ROP而需要行赤道部硅胶带巩膜环扎术。结论:ROP的发生率和阈病变同国际其它的研究结果类似。本研究显示了孕期28wk以内或出生后体重1000g的新生儿高生存率(70.1%)、高视网膜病变发病率和激光治疗的高度必要性。这组患儿需要眼科专家和新生儿专家为发现ROP进行仔细筛查和随访。本组患儿中没有确诊1例有I区后部病变,此点是本研究值得引起注意之处。

Intraocular VEGF levels.were s.s.rum the VEGF level was.>2000 pg/ml throughout the follow-up periods. In the untreated left eye, macular th icknes. altered related to s.rum VEGF level. CONCLUs.ONs.
