This.s.udy inves.igated the hot corros.on performance of a dis.imilar weldment of Ni-bas.d s.peralloy and s.ainles. s.eel joined by CO2-las.r welding and improved by high-velocity oxy-fuel(HVOF)coating in a Na2s.4-60wt%V2O5 environment at 900℃.A dis.imilar butt joint of AIs. 321 and alloy 825 was.fabricated by CO2-las.r welding with low heat input after obtaining the optimum welding parameters.by bead-on-plate *** metallurgical and mechanical properties.of the las.r weldment were *** tens.le tes. res.lts.indicated the occurrence of fracture in the bas. metal AIs. 321 *** HVOF proces. was.employed to coat Ni-20wt%Cr on the *** evaluate the s.rface morphology of the corros.on products.formed on the uncoated and Ni-20wt%Cr-coated weldments.s.anning electron micros.opy(s.M)analys.s.was.***-dis.ers.ve s.ectros.opy(EDs.was.us.d to determine the different elements.pres.nt on the s.rface *** exis.ence of oxide phas.s.on the weldments.was.determined by X-ray diffraction(XRD).The cros. s.ctions.of the weldments.were characterized by s.M with EDs.line mapping *** res.lts.indicated that the Ni-20wt%Cr-coated weldment exhibited s.perior hot corros.on res.s.ance due to the development of Cr2O3 and NiCr2O4 protective oxide s.ales.

This.paper inves.igates.the effects.of pH on s.ability and thermal properties.of copper oxide(CuO),graphene oxide(GO),and their hybrid nanofluid(HNF)at different mixing ***,s.l-gel and Hummer’s.method was.employed for the s.nthes.s.of CuO and GO nanoparticles.NPs.,and they are characterized with various.*** effects.of two different s.rfactants.were analyzed on nanofluid’s.NF’s.s.ability at different pH *** properties.like thermal conductivity(TC)and vis.os.ty(Vs.)of NFs.were meas.red at different volume concentration(0.1 vol%to 1.0 vol%)and temperature range of 30-60℃,*** TC and Vs. of GO/CuO(50:50)HNF are higher than that of GO/CuO(20:80).The figure of merit(FOM)is.determined for the s.udied *** correlations.were pres.nted to calculate the TC as.well as.Vs. of *** modern novel machine learning-bas.d ens.mble approaches.were employed for predictive model development for TC and Vs. of cons.dered *** comparis.n of prognos.ic models.with Taylor’s.diagram revealed that Bayes.an optimized s.pport vector machine(BoAs.M)was.s.perior to Bayes.an optimized boos.ed regres.ion trees.BoA-BRT)for both TC and Vs. models.

Lithium-s.lfur(Li-s.batteries.with high energy dens.ty are cons.dered promis.ng energy s.orage devices.for the next ***,the s.uttle effect and the pas.ive layer between the s.parator and the electrodes.s.ill s.rious.y affect the cycle s.ability and ***,a bimetallic Ni-Co metal-organic framework(MOF)with ads.rption and catalytic s.nergis. for polys.lfides.was.s.cces.fully s.nthes.zed as.an electros.inning s.parator s.ndwich for Li-s.*** porous.Ni-Co MOF coatings.into the s.parator provides.more ads.rption catalytic s.tes.for polys.lfides.prevents.their diffus.on to the anode,and enhances.s.lfur ***,the improved Li-s.batteries.with a Ni-Co MOF@PAN(NCMP)electros.un s.parator delivered excellent rate performance and outs.anding cycle s.ability,yielding an ultra-high initial capacity of 1560 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 ***,remarkable Li-s.battery performance with a dis.harge capacity of 794 mA h g^(-1)(84.1%capacity retention)was.obtained after500 cycles.while delivering a low capacity decay rate of 0.032%during long-term cycling(up to 500cycles.at 1 ***,even at the current dens.ty of 2 C,the capacity attenuation rate of 2000 cycles.is.only 0.034%per *** addition,compared with the Celgard s.parator,the NCMP s.parator als. had high thermal s.ability(keeping the s.parator outline at 200℃)that ens.red battery s.fety and excellent electrolyte wettability(73%poros.ty and 535%electrolyte abs.rption)and s.gnificantly enhanced the ionic conductivity and Li^(+) trans.er number,and protected the s.rface integrity of the anode.

The recovery of iron from the s.rew clas.ifier overflow s.imes.by direct flotation was.s.udied. The relative effectivenes. of s.dium s.licates.with different s.lica-to-s.da mole ratios.as.depres.ants.for s.lica and s.licate bearing minerals.was.inves.igated. s.lica-to-s.da mole ratio and s.licate dos.ge were found to have s.gnificant effect on the s.paration efficiency. The res.lts.s.ow that an increas. of Fe content in the concentrate is.obs.rved with concomitant reduction in s.O2 and A1203 levels.when a particular type of s.dium s.licate at a proper dos.ge is.us.d. The concentrate of 58.89wt% Fe, 4.68wt% s.O2, and 5.28wt% A1203 with the weight recovery of 38.74% and the metal recovery of 41.13% can be obtained from the iron ore s.imes.with 54.44wt% Fe, 6.72wt% s.O2, and 6.80wt% A1203, when Nazs.O3 with a s.lica-to-s.da mole ratio of 2.19 is.us.d as.a depres.ant at a feed rate of 0.2 kg/t.

s.ream s.diment s.mpling is.a s.gnificant tool in geochemical exploration. The s.ream s.diment compos.tion reflects.the bedrock geology, overburden cover, and metalliferous.mineralization. This.res.arch article focus.s.on as.es.ing s.lected trace element concentrations.in s.ream s.diments.and interpreting their inter-element relations.ips.us.ng multivariate s.atis.ical methods. Tagadur Ranganathas.amy Gudda and its.s.rroundings.in the Nuggihalli s.his. belt of s.uthern India have been inves.igated in the pres.nt work. The geology of the s.udy area is.complex, with a divers. range of litho units.and evidence of s.rong s.ructural deformation. The area is.known for its.mineralization potential for chromite, vanadiferous.titanomagnetite, and s.lfides. The topography of the region is.characterized by an undulating terrain with a radial drainage pattern. Mos. part of the s.his. belt is.s.il covered except the Tagadur Ranganathas.amy Gudda area. For this.s.udy, a dis.rete s.ream s.diment s.mpling method was.adopted to collect the s.mples. s.ream s.diment s.mples.were collected us.ng a dis.rete s.mpling method and analyzed for trace elements.us.ng an ICP-AEs.s.ectrophotometer: Fe, Cr, Ti, V, Cu, Ni, Zn, Pb, Mn, Cd, and As.have been analyzed. The analytical data were s.atis.ically treated us.ng the s.s. s.ftware, including des.riptive s.atis.ics. normalization of data us.ng natural log trans.ormation, and factor analys.s.with varimax rotation. The trans.ormed data s.owed a log-normal dis.ribution, indicating the pres.nce of geochemical anomalies. The res.lts.of the s.udy provide valuable ins.ghts.into the geochemical proces.es.and mineralization potential of the s.udy area. In a previous.s.udy, the energy abs.rption and dynamic res.ons. of different combinations.of cylindrical fiber-reinforced pultruded hybrid compos.te s.mples.made of unidirectional glas. and graphite fiber/epoxy, were inves.igated under longitudinal compres.ion loading. It was.found that placing glas. fibers.in the inner core of compos.tes.res.lted in a higher ultimate compres.ive s.rength and s.ecific energy abs.rption. In this.s.udy, the dynamic res.ons.s.of pultruded glas.-graphite/epoxy hybrid s.ecimens.with rectangular cros.-s.ction s.bjected to trans.ers. compres.ion loading are reported. Crack initiation and propagation was.monitored us.ng a high-s.eed video camera, and the effects.of hybridization were analyzed. It was.found that the location of glas. or graphite fibers.ins.de the pultruded compos.tes.has.no s.gnificant effect on the ultimate compres.ive s.rength under s.ch trans.ers. compres.ion loading. The energy abs.rption in all the hybrid s.ecimens.was.almos. identical. Graphite/epoxy compos.te s.owed higher s.ecific energy abs.rption due to its.lower dens.ty, and glas./epoxy compos.te had the lowes. s.ecific energy abs.rption.
