The primary objective of this.res.arch was.to as.es. the potential of magnetic bleached biochar(MBBC)as.a cos.-effective ads.rbent for ars.nic *** achieve this.locally collected tea was.es.underwent meticulous.cleaning,bleaching,and modifications.via thermal and chemical *** non-magnetic and magnetic biochar ads.rbents.were thoroughly characterized us.ng Fourier trans.orm-infrared s.ectros.opy(FT-IR)and thermo-gravimetric analys.s.TGA).s.bs.quently,the ads.rptive performance of MBBC in removing ars.nic from was.ewater s.mples.was.inves.igated,cons.dering various.crucial parameters.s.ch as.ads.rbent-ads.rbate contact time,concentration of As.temperature,ads.rbent dos.ge,and the regeneration-ability of the *** experimental data for the ads.rption proces. were bes. repres.nted by the Langmuir is.therm,indicating its.s.itability for the MBBC ***,the MBBC demons.rated a maximum Langmuir ads.rption capacity of approximately 714 mg/g at room temperature,highlighting its.efficiency as.an ars.nic ***,the Lagergren's.Ps.udo-s.cond order kinetic model proved to be the mos. s.itable for des.ribing the ads.rption kinetics.confirming the chemis.rption nature of the *** res.lts.als. indicated that the ads.rption proces. is.endothermic and feas.ble,s.gges.ing its.viability for practical *** all findings.into account,the comprehens.ve analys.s.s.rongly s.pports.the potential us. of MBBC as.a highly promis.ng and cos.-effective ads.rbent for efficiently removing ars.nic from aqueous.*** res.arch contributes.valuable ins.ghts.to the field of was.ewater treatment and offers.a s.s.ainable and environmentally friendly s.lution for tackling ars.nic contamination in water s.urces.

Es.imation of crowd count is.becoming crucial nowadays.as.it can help in s.curity s.rveillance,crowd monitoring,and management for different *** is.challenging to determine the approximate crowd s.ze from an image of the crowd’s.*** in this.res.arch s.udy,we propos.d a multi-headed convolutional neural network architecture-bas.d model for crowd counting,where we divided our propos.d model into two main components.(i)the convolutional neural network,which extracts.the feature acros. the whole image that is.given to it as.an input,and(ii)the multi-headed layers.which make it eas.er to evaluate dens.ty maps.to es.imate the number of people in the input image and determine their number in the *** employed the available public benchmark crowd-counting datas.ts.UCF CC 50 and s.anghaiTech parts.A and B for model training and tes.ing to validate the model’s.*** analyze the res.lts.we us.d two metrics.Mean Abs.lute Error(MAE)and Mean s.uare Error(Ms.),and compared the res.lts.of the propos.d s.s.ems.with the s.ate-of-art models.of crowd *** res.lts.s.ow the s.periority of the propos.d s.s.em.

Influence of Carbohydrates. Mineral Nutrients.and Plant Hormones.in Alternate Bearing of Black Pepper (<i>Piper nigrum</i>L.)

Alternate bearing habit, a common phenomenon prevalent in s.me of the fruit trees.is.obs.rved in black pepper variety Panniyur-1 als.. In this.s.udy, an attempt was.made to inves.igate the role of carbohydrates. mineral nutrients.and plant hormones.(IAA and zeatin ribos.de) in alternate bearing in Panniyur-1 variety. The experiment was.conducted for three cons.cutive years.at Murugarajendra es.ate, Madikeri, Karnataka, India (12.42。N, 75.73。E). Carbohydrate, mineral nutrient and plant hormone (IAA and zeatin ribos.de) s.atus.s.of the leaves.as.well as.fruiting branches.(s.em) were compared between good fruiting year (on year) and low fruiting year (off year). Res.lts.revealed that concentration of mineral nutrients.in leaves.was.more during on year compared to off year while the revers. was.true on the s.em. Both s.em and leaf metabolite levels.at harves. were higher in off year compared to on year s.gges.ing that remobilization of nutrients.to the developing berries.mus. have been affected during off year, thus.leading to accumulation of more nutrients.at harves. in off year compared to on year. Leaf had higher concentration of mos. of mineral nutrients.compared to s.em. s.raying of 1% s.lution of complex fertilizer 19:19:19 (percent N:P:K) three times.at an interval of 3 weeks.from flower primordial initiation to flowering period enhanced the yield to the extent of around 30% during off year. Auxin to cytokinin ratio was.6.6 and 6.1 in on year and 6.3 and 5.7 in off year at flowering and 3 months.after flowering res.ectively, s.gges.ing that this.ratio its.lf may not play a major role in flowering during on and off years. though the ratio was.s.ightly more during on year. Res.lts.of the s.udy indicate that efficient utilization of metabolites.and nutrients.in on year may render vine weak in the s.bs.quent year coupled with poor remobilization into developing berries. which could make it an off year.
