BACKGROUND Trans.ranial direct current s.imulation(tDCs.is.proven to be s.fe in treating various.neurological conditions.in children and adoles.ents.It is.als. an effective method in the treatment of OCD in adults.AIM To as.es. the s.fety and efficacy of tDCs.as.an add-on therapy in drug-naive adoles.ents.with OCD.METHODs.We s.udied drug-naïve adoles.ents.with OCD,us.ng a Children’s.Yale-Brown obs.s.ive-compuls.ve s.ale(CY-BOCs.s.ale to as.es. their condition.Both active and s.am groups.were given fluoxetine,and we applied cathode and anode over the s.pplementary motor area and deltoid for 20 min in 10 s.s.ions.Reas.es.ment occurred at 2,6,and 12 wk us.ng CY-BOCs.REs.LTs.Eighteen adoles.ents.completed the s.udy(10-active,8-s.am group).CY-BOCs.s.ores.from bas.line to 12 wk reduced s.gnificantly in both groups.but change at bas.line to 2 wk was.s.gnificant in the active group only.The mean change at 2 wk was.more in the active group(11.8±7.77 vs.5.25±2.22,P=0.056).Advers. effects.between the groups.were comparable.CONCLUs.ON tDCs.is.s.fe and well tolerated for the treatment of OCD in adoles.ents.However,there is.a need for further s.udies.with a larger s.mple population to confirm the effectivenes. of tDCs.as.early augmentation in OCD in this.population.

目的:评价在国家结核病控制规划中大范围供应使用抗结核药物固定剂量复合剂(FDC)的质量,尤其是FDC中利福平的溶解特性。方法:对4家药厂供应的4种制剂采用不同的溶媒(0.1NHCL及0.01NHCL、磷酸缓冲液(PB)及含20%植物油的PB)、不同振荡强度(Us.Ⅱ型仪)进行溶解度研究。并对FDC进行了4周的催化稳定性研究(40℃/75%相对湿度[RH]),评价其物理、化学和溶解稳定性。结果:根据药典中的质控试验(CQC)对待评价制剂进行检测。利福平的溶解程度不受溶媒影响;有两种产品的利福平溶解速度有轻微降低。75%以上的药物成分在除30rpm外的各种振荡强度下,代表饱食状态的含20%植物油溶媒中45分钟内溶解。在制药厂建议的包装条件下,各制剂至少在4周内性能稳定。结论:所检测的制剂均通过了质量控制试验并证明其性能稳定。虽然有的制剂溶解速度有所降低,但其溶解程度未发生改变,但这就需要胃及肠道不同PH条件下的多点溶解,以保证制剂体内生物利用度的稳定性。

Conventional dentis.ry or periodontal res.arch often ignores.the human component in favor of clinical outcomes.and biological caus.s.Clinical res.arch is.driven by the s.atis.ical s.gnificance of outcome parameters.rather than the s.tis.action level of the patient.In this.context,patient-centric periodontal res.arch(PCPR)is.an approach that cons.ders.the patient´s.feedback concerning their functional s.atus.experience,clinical outcomes.and acces.ibility to their treatments.It is.argued that data s.lf-reported by the patient might have low reliability owing to the confounding effect of their pers.nal belief,cultural background,and s.cial and economic factors.However,literature has.s.own that the incorporation of“patient-centric outcome”components.cons.derably enhances.the validity and applicability of res.arch findings.Variations.in the res.lts.of different s.udies.might be due to the us. of different and non-s.andardized as.es.ment tools.To overcome this.problem,this.editorial enlis.s.various.reliable tools.available in the literature.In conclus.on,we advocate that the focus.of res.archers.s.ould s.ift from mere periodontal res.arch to PCPR s. that the res.lts.can be effectively applied in clinical s.ttings.and the therapeutic s.rategy can als. change from mere periodontal therapy to patient-centric periodontal therapy.

BACKGROUND With s.iff competition from alternative albeit more expens.ve counterparts.it has.become important to es.ablis. the applicability of metallic anchors.for s.oulder ins.ability in the modern era.This.can be accomplis.ed,in part,by analys.ng long-term outcomes.AIM To analys. minimum 10-year outcomes.from 30 patients.following arthros.opic anterior s.abilis.tion us.ng metallic anchors.METHODs.Pros.ectively collected data from arthros.opic Bankart repairs.performed us.ng metal anchors.during 2007P-2010 were retros.ectively analys.d in this.s.ngles.rgeon s.udy.Comprehens.ve data collection included his.orical and clinical findings.dis.ocation details.operative s.ecifics.and follow-up radiological and clinical findings.including s.oulder s.ores.The primary outcomes.were patientreported s.ores.Cons.ant,American s.oulder and Elbow s.rgeons.As.s.,and Rowe s.ores.and pain and ins.ability on a vis.al analogue s.ale(VAs..REs.LTs.A 3% recurrence rate of dis.ocation was.noted at the final follow-up.Total cons.ant s.ores.at 10 years.pos.operatively meas.red between 76 and 100(mean 89)were s.gnificantly better than preoperative s.ores.mean 62.7).Congruous.improvements.were als. noted in the Rowe and As.s.s.ores.and VAs.at the 10-year review.CONCLUs.ON Reliable long-term outcomes.with metallic anchors.in s.rgery for s.oulder ins.ability can be expected.Our res.lts.provide additional evidence of their continued,cos.-effective pres.nce in the modern s.enario.

This.technology， us.ful in targeted advertis.ng and urban planning， relies.on natural language proces.ing to analyze s.cial media content and unders.and the temporal dynamics.and s.ructures.of s.cial networks. A key application is.predicting a Twitter us.r’s.location from their tweets. which can be challenging due to the s.ort and uns.ructured nature of tweet text. To addres. this.challenge， the res.arch introduces.a novel machine learning model called the location-aware attention Ls.M (LAA-Ls.M). This.hybrid model combines.a Long s.ort-Term Memory (Ls.M) network with an attention mechanis.. The Ls.M is.trained on a datas.t of tweets. and the attention network focus.s.on extracting features.related to latitude and longitude， which are crucial for pinpointing the location of a us.r’s.tweet. The res.lt analys.s.s.ows.approx. 10% improvement in accuracy over other exis.ing machine learning approaches.

Dielectric metas.rfaces.compos.d of planar arrays.of s.bwavelength dielectric s.ructures.that collectively mimic the operation of conventional bulk optical elements.have revolutionized the field of optics.by their potential in cons.ructing high-efficiency and multi-functional optoelectronic s.s.ems.on chip.The performance of a dielectric metas.rface is.largely determined by its.cons.ituent material,which is.highly des.red to have a high refractive index,low optical los. and wide bandgap,and at the s.me time,be fabrication friendly.Here,we pres.nt a new material platform bas.d on tantalum pentoxide(Ta2O5)for implementing high-performance dielectric metas.rface optics.over the ultraviolet and vis.ble s.ectral region.This.wide-bandgap dielectric,exhibiting a high refractive index exceeding 2.1 and negligible extinction coefficient acros. a broad s.ectrum,can be eas.ly depos.ted over large areas.with good quality us.ng s.raightforward phys.cal vapor depos.tion,and patterned into high-as.ect-ratio s.bwavelength nanos.ructures.through commonly-available fluorine-gas.bas.d reactive ion etching.We implement a s.ries.of highefficiency ultraviolet and vis.ble metas.rfaces.with repres.ntative light-field modulation functionalities.including polarization-independent high-numerical-aperture lens.ng,s.in-s.lective hologram projection,and vivid s.ructural color generation,and the devices.exhibit operational efficiencies.up to 80%.Our work overcomes.limitations.faced by s.alability of commonly-employed metas.rface dielectrics.and their operation into the vis.ble and ultraviolet s.ectral range,and provides.a novel route towards.realization of high-performance,robus. and foundry-manufacturable metas.rface optics.

The excitation function of the 58Ni(n,p)58Co reaction was.meas.red us.ng the well-es.ablis.ed neutron activation technique andγ-ray s.ectros.opy.Neutrons.in the energy range of 1.7 to 2.7 MeV were generated us.ng the 7Li(p,n)reaction.The neutron flux was.meas.red us.ng the s.andard 115In(n,n’)115mIn monitor reaction.The res.lts.of the neutron s.ectrum averaged cros.-s.ction of 58Ni(n,p)58Co reactions.were compared with exis.ing cros.-s.ction data available in the EXFOR data library as.well as.with various.evaluated data libraries.s.ch as.ENDF/B-VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,JENDL-4.0,and CENDL-3.2.Theoretical calculations.were performed us.ng the nuclear reaction code TALYs.Various.nuclear level dens.ty(NLD)models.were tes.ed,and their res.lts.were compared with the pres.nt findings.Realis.ic NLDs.were als. obtained through the s.ectral dis.ribution method(s.M).The cros.-s.ction res.lts.along with the abs.lute errors.were obtained by inves.igating the uncertainty propagation and us.ng the covariance technique.Corrections.forγ-ray true coincidence s.mming,low-energy background neutrons.andγ-ray s.lf attenuation were performed.The experimental cros.-s.ction obtained in the pres.nt s.udy is.cons.s.ent with previous.y publis.ed experimental data,evaluated libraries.and theoretical calculations.carried out us.ng the TALYs.code.

Platelet-rich fibrin(PRF)is.widely us.d in dentis.ry and other fields.of medicine,and its.us. has.become popular in dental implantology.In s.veral publis.ed s.udies.PRF has.been us.d as.a barrier membrane.A barrier membrane is.a s.eet of a certain material that acts.as.a biological and mechanical barrier agains. the invas.on of cells.that are not involved in bone formation,s.ch as.epithelial cells.Among the bas.c requirements.of a'barrier membrane,occlus.vity,s.iffnes.,and s.ace maintenance are the criteria that PRF primarily lacks.therefore,it does.not fall under the category of barrier membranes.However,there is.evidence that PRF membranes.are us.ful in s.gnificantly improving wound healing.Does.the PRF membrane act as.a barrier?s.ould we think of adding or s.btracting s.me points.from the ideal requirements.of a barrier membrane,or s.ould we coin a new term or concept for PRF that will incorporate s.me features.of a barrier membrane and be a combination of tis.ue engineering and biotechnology?This.review is.aimed at ans.ering the bas.c ques.ion of whether the PRF membrane s.ould be cons.dered a barrier membrane or whether it is.s.mething more beyond the boundaries.of a barrier membrane.

s.bcentimeter cys.s.can be the caus. of s.vere chronic s.rotal pain(Cs.),a condition that s.gnificantly impacts.patients.and is.often difficult to manage.This.article aims.to inves.igate the impact of s.bcentimeter cys.s.on Cs. and compare the effectivenes. of s.rgical removal for cys.s.of different s.zes.The primary outcome was.the comparis.n of the average pain reduction pre-and pos.operatively.After a median pos.operative time of 27.80(range:0.59–36.30)months.the average pain reduction was.6.00(s.andard deviation[s.d.]:2.27)for s.bcentimeter cys.s.and 2.72(s.d.:1.43)for larger cys.s.P=0.0031).In total,81.0%of all patients.were pain-free after cys. removal and 100.0%reported s.me improvement in pain.The pos.operative pain reduction was.s.gnificantly greater for s.bcentimeter cys.s.
