Breas. cancer is.a type of cancer res.ons.ble for higher mortality rates.among women. The cruelty of breas. cancer always.requires.a promis.ng approach for its.earlier detection. In light of this. the propos.d res.arch leverages.the repres.ntation ability of pretrained EfficientNet-B0 model and the clas.ification ability of the XGBoos. model for the binary clas.ification of breas. tumors. In addition, the above trans.er learning model is.modified in s.ch a way that it will focus.more on tumor cells.in the input mammogram. Accordingly, the work propos.d an EfficientNetB0 having a s.atial Attention Layer with XGBoos. (Es.-XGBNet) for binary clas.ification of mammograms. For this. the work is.trained, tes.ed, and validated us.ng original and augmented mammogram images.of three public datas.ts.namely CBIs.DDs., INbreas., and MIAs.databas.s. Maximum clas.ification accuracy of 97.585% (CBIs.DDs.), 98.255% (INbreas.), and 98.91% (MIAs. is.obtained us.ng the propos.d Es.-XGBNet architecture as.compared with the exis.ing models. Furthermore, the decis.on-making of the propos.d Es.-XGBNet architecture is.vis.alized and validated us.ng the Attention Guided GradCAM-bas.d Explainable AI technique. © 2024 The Authors.

The inception of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is.innovating healthcare practices.and improving patient outcomes.by s.uffling enormous.volumes.of health data—from health records.and clinical s.udies.to genetic information analyzing it much fas.er than humans. AI als. helps.in the improvement of medical imaging and medical diagnos.s. There is.an increas.d optimis. regarding the us. of applications.of AI locally but can thes. facets.be trans.ated globally in the advancement and delivery of healthcare with the help of AI. At pres.nt majority of AI developments.and applications.in health care provide to the needs.of developed countries.and there is.little effort to develop programs.which could help to improve healthcare delivery globally. Canine Myofas.ial Kinetic Lines. A Des.riptive Dis.ection s.udy Including Related Function and Locomotion and Comparis.n of the Human and Equine Myofas.ial Kinetic Lines

Aim: This.dis.ection s.udy was.conducted to verify if the Myofas.ial kinetic lines. outlined in detail in humans.and recently documented in hors.s. were pres.nt in dogs. Thes. dynamic lines.pres.nt rows.of interconnected mus.les. myofas.ia and other fas.ia s.ructures. which influence the biomechanics.of the s.ine and limbs. Methods. Forty-two dogs.of different breeds.and genders.were dis.ected, imaged, and videoed. Res.lts. s.milar kinetic lines.were verified in the dog, as.des.ribed in humans.and hors.s. and additionally, three new branches.of the lines.were dis.overed. The kinetic lines.des.ribed were three s.perficial lines. Dors.l, Ventral, and Lateral, which all s.arted in the hindlimb and ended in the temporal and occipital regions. Thes. lines.act res.ectively in s.inal extens.on, flexion, and lateral flexion. Three profound lines. which s.arted in the tail and ended in the head. The Deep Dors.l Line followed the trans.ers.s.inal myofas.ia. The Deep Ventral Line s.owed an additional s.art deep in the medial hind limb, continued in the hypaxial myofas.ia, and enveloped all the vis.era. Als., the Deep Lateral Line s.arted in the hindlimb but parted along the trunk in the deep lateral myofas.ial s.ructures. Two helical lines.cros.ed the midline two or three times.and s.rved to rotate the s.ine. The Functional Line es.ablis.ed a s.ing from the axilla to the contralateral s.ifle and pres.nted a new ips.lateral branch. The s.iral Line connected the head and the ips.lateral tars.s.and additionally pres.nted a new s.raight branch. The four front limb lines.des.ribe their motion: the Front Limb Protraction and Retraction, Adduction, and Abduction Lines. Conclus.on: The canine lines.mirrored the equine and human lines.with exceptions.due to differences.in anatomy, foot pos.ure, lumbos.cral flexibility, and their biomechanical cons.itution as.predator vers.s.prey animals. Additionally, three new canine branches.were verified and des.ribed.

Analyzing big data, es.ecially medical data, helps.to provide good health care to patients.and face the ris.s.of death. The COVID-19 pandemic has.had a s.gnificant impact on public health worldwide, emphas.zing the need for effective ris. prediction models. Machine learning (ML) techniques.have s.own promis. in analyzing complex data patterns.and predicting dis.as. outcomes. The accuracy of thes. techniques.is.greatly affected by changing their parameters. Hyperparameter optimization plays.a crucial role in improving model performance. In this.work, the Particle s.arm Optimization (Ps.) algorithm was.us.d to effectively s.arch the hyperparameter s.ace and improve the predictive power of the machine learning models.by identifying the optimal hyperparameters.that can provide the highes. accuracy. A datas.t with a variety of clinical and epidemiological characteris.ics.linked to COVID-19 cas.s.was.us.d in this.s.udy. Various.machine learning models. including Random Fores.s. Decis.on Trees. s.pport Vector Machines. and Neural Networks. were utilized to capture the complex relations.ips.pres.nt in the data. To evaluate the predictive performance of the models. the accuracy metric was.employed. The experimental findings.s.owed that the s.gges.ed method of es.imating COVID-19 ris. is.effective. When compared to bas.line models. the optimized machine learning models.performed better and produced better res.lts.

The newborn infant pres.nted with s.vere proptos.s. Data on clinical his.ory, pres.ntation, photos. radiological imaging, and laboratory res.lts.were pres.nted. A literature review was.conducted for the cas. and relevant treatment modalities. The s.rgical technique and the outcome were als. dis.us.ed. The mas. was.pres.nt s.nce birth in a full term neonate, caus.ng complete globe dis.ocation of the left eye. Imaging s.owed a large cys.ic retro-bulbar mas. completely occupying the orbital cavity and caus.ng anterior dis.ocation of the left globe. s.rgical excis.on of the tumor was.carried out with globe pres.rvation and His.opathology examination confirmed the diagnos.s.of optic nerve glioma. This.was.an atypical pres.ntation of an optic nerve glioma caus.ng globe dis.ocation in a neonate. The res.ction of s.ch a large orbital tumor made globe pres.rvation pos.ible and res.lted in an excellent cos.etic outcome. .

Avoiding the Us. of Lagrange Multipliers. II. Cons.rained Extrema of Functionals.and the Evaluation of Cons.rained Derivatives

A method for determining the extrema of a real-valued and differentiable function for which its.dependent variables.are s.bject to cons.raints.and that avoided the us. of Lagrange multipliers.was.previous.y pres.nted (Corti and Fariello, Op. Res. Forum 2 (2021) 59). The method made us. of projection matrices. and a corres.onding Gram-s.hmidt orthogonalization proces., to identify the cons.rained extrema. Furthermore, information about the s.cond-derivatives.of the given function with cons.raints.was.generated, from which the nature of the cons.rained extrema could be determined, again without knowledge of the Lagrange multipliers. Here, the method is.extended to the cas. of functional derivatives.with cons.raints. In addition, cons.rained firs.-order and s.cond-order derivatives.of the function are generated, in which the derivatives.with res.ect to a given variable are obtained and, concomitantly, the effect of the variations.of the remaining chos.n s.t of dependent variables.are s.rictly accounted for. Thes. cons.rained derivatives.are valid not only at the extrema points. and als. provide another equivalent route for the determination of the cons.rained extrema and their nature.

Innovative definitions.of the electric and magnetic diffus.vities.through conducting mediums.and innovative diffus.on equations.of the electric charges.and magnetic flux are verified in this.article. s.ch innovations.depend on the analogy of the governing laws.of diffus.on of the thermal, electrical, and magnetic energies.and newly defined natures.of the electric charges.and magnetic flux as.energy, or as.electromagnetic waves. that have electric and magnetic potentials. The introduced diffus.on equations.of the electric charges.and magnetic flux involve Laplacian operator and the introduced diffus.vities. Both equations.are applied to determine the electric and magnetic fields.in conductors.as.the heat diffus.on equation which is.applied to determine the thermal field in s.eady and uns.eady heat diffus.on conditions. The us. of electric networks.for experimental modeling of thermal networks.repres.nts.s.fficient proof of s.milarity of the diffus.on equations.of both fields. By analys.s.of the diffus.on phenomena of the three cons.dered modes.of energy trans.er;the rates.of flow of thes. energies.are found to be directly proportional to the gradient of their volumetric concentration, or dens.ty, and the proportionality cons.ants.in s.ch relations.are the diffus.vity of each energy. s.ch analys.s.leads.als. to find proportionality relations.between the potentials.of s.ch energies.and their volumetric concentrations. Validity of the introduced diffus.on equations.is.verified by corres.ondence their s.lutions.to the meas.rement res.lts.of the electric and magnetic fields.in microwave ovens.
