Objective To determine the DNA damaging potential and the genotoxicity of individual compounds in pesticide contaminated soil. Methods In the present study, DNA damaging potential of pesticide-contaminated soil and the genotoxicity of individual compounds present in the soil were assessed using fluofimetdc analysis of DNA unwinding assay. Results The contaminated soil sample showed 79% （P〈0.001） of DNA strand break, whereas technical grade of major catbaryl and α-naphthol constituents of the contaminated soil showed 64% （P〈0.01） and 60% （P〈0.02） damage respectively. Conclusion Our results indicate that the toxicity caused by contaminated soil is mainly due to carbatyl and α -napthol, which are the major constituents of the soil sample analyzed by CrC-Ms.

In recent years,Peripheral blood smear is a generic analysis to assess the person’s health *** testing of Peripheral blood smear images are difficult,time-consuming and is subject to human intervention and visual *** method encouraged for researchers to present algorithms and techniques to perform the peripheral blood smear analysis with the help of computer-assisted and decision-making *** CAD based methods are lacks in attaining the accurate detection of abnormalities present in the *** order to mitigate this issue Deep Convolution Neural Network(DCNN)based automatic classification technique is introduced with the classification of eight groups of peripheral blood cells such as basophil,eosinophil,lymphocyte,monocyte,neutrophil,erythroblast,platelet,myocyte,promyocyte and *** proposed DCNN model employs transfer learning approach and additionally it carries three stages such as pre-processing,feature extraction and *** the pre-processing steps are incorporated to eliminate noisy contents present in the image by using Histogram Equalization(HE).It is enclosed to improve an image *** order to distinguish the dissimilar class and segmentation approach is carried out with the help of Fuzzy C-Means(FCM)model whereas its centroid point optimality method with slap swarm based optimization *** some specific set of Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix(GLCM)features of the segmented images are extracted to augment the performance of proposed detection *** the extracted features are recorded by DCNN and the proposed classifier has the capability to extract their own *** on this the diverse set of classes are classified and distinguished from qualitative abnormalities found in the image.

Objective:In vitro antioxidant activities of three selected Indian seaweeds viz.,Halimeda tuna(***),Turbinaria conoides(***) and Gracilaria foliifera(***) were ***:Total antioxidant activity,total phenolic content,and reducing power of crude methanol and diethyl ether extracts were ***:Total phenolic content and total antioxidant activity were higher(1.231±0.173 mg GAE/g,1.675±0.361 mg GAE/g) in *** *** power of crude methanol extract increased with concentrations of the *** Fourier transform-infra red spectrum analysis revealed the presence of polyphenolic *** seaweed extracts displayed moderate antioxidant activity compared to gallic acid ***:The seaweeds could be considered for curing diseases from oxidative deteriorations.

Leaf litterfall,litter decomposition and nutrient return through litterfall of three dominant species,*** serrata,schima wallichi and Lithocarpus dealbata were studied in different months throughout the year to assess the input and release of nutrient in the forest soil of a sub-tropical mixed oak forest of Manipur,northeastern *** in northeastern region of India are economically important species for the production of Tasar *** monthly litterfall ranged from 25.6 g·m^-2（July） to 198.0 g·m^-2（February） and annual litterfall was 1093.8g·m^-2 in the forest *** initial month（on November 3）,the concentrations of N and C were the highest in ***,followed by *** and lowest in ***,whereas lignin and cellulose concentrations at initial month were the highest in ***,followed by *** and ***（k=0.54） exhibited a high rate of litter decomposition,coinciding with high concentrations of N and C and low cellulose in the litter at initial ***,low rate of litter decomposition in ***（k=0.33） coincided with low value of N and C and highest value of lignin and cellulose at initial *** remaining biomass in different months was positively correlated with the lignin,C,C/N ratio and cellulose,but it negatively correlated with nitrogen concentrations at initial *** rate of litter decomposition was the highest in rainy summer months,owing to congenial environmental conditions and lowest rate of litter decomposition in cool and dry winter months.

Objective:To evaluate the antimicrobial activity of Turbinaria conoides(***).Padina gymnospora(***) and sargassum tenerrimum against human bacterial and fungal ***:The antimicrobial activities of the extracts against various organisms were tested by using disc diffusion ***:The methanol extract showed the better result than the other ***,the strong antibacterial inhibition was noted in methanol extracts of *** against Bacillus subtilus(26.33±1.86) and the mild inhibition of ethanol extracts from *** against Klebsiella pneumoniae(2.33±0.51).Acetone extraction of P. gymnospora had strong antifungal inhibition against Cryptococcus neoformans(23.00±1.78), and acetone extract of *** had mild inhibition against Aspergillus niger(3.00±0.89). Conclusions:The seven different solvent extracts of seaweeds used in the present study have shown significant bacterial ***,a detailed study on the principle compound in the seaweeds which is responsible for antimicrobial activity is still needed and it can be achieved by using advanced separation techniques.

A novel bioanalytical method was developed and validated for the quantitative determination of darunavir（DRV） in rat plasma by employing hydrophilic interaction chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry（HILIC-Ms/Ms） with supported liquid extraction（sLE）.lrbesartan（IRB） was used as an internal standard（Is）.The analyte in rat plasma（200 μL） was isolated through sLE using ethyl acetate as the eluting *** chromatographic separation was achieved on Luna-HILIC（250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm）column with a mobile phase of 0.1% of formic acid in water：acetonitrile（5：95,v/v）,at a constant flow rate of 1.0mL/*** Ms/Ms ion transitions for DRV（548.1→392.0） and Is（429.2→207.1） were monitored on an ion trap mass spectrometer,operating in the multiple reaction monitoring（MRM） *** lower limit of quantitation（LLOQ） was 0.2 ng/mL and quantitation range was 0.2-5000 ng/*** method was validated for its selectivity,sensitivity,carryover,linearity,precision,accuracy,recovery,matrix effect and *** method was successfully applied to pharmacokinetic study in rats.

Ischemic colitis can mimic a carcinoma on computed tomographic (CT) imaging or endoscopic examination. A coexisting colonic carcinoma or another potentially obstructing lesion has also been described in 20% of the cases of ischemic colitis. CT scan can differentiate it from colon cancer in 75% of cases. However, colonoscopy is the preferred method for diagnosing ischemic colitis as it allows for direct visualization with tissue sampling. Varied presentations of ischemic colitis have been described as an ulcerated or submucosal mass or as a narrowed segment of colon with ulcerated mucosa on colonoscopy. Awareness and early recognition of such varied presentations of a common condition is necessary to differentiate from a colonic carcinoma, and to avoid unnecessary surgery and related complications.

Objective To study the anticlastogenic effect of redistilled cow＇s urine distillate （RCUD） in human peripheral lymphocytes （HLC） challenged with manganese dioxide and hexavalent chromium. Methods The anticlastogenic activity of redistilled cow＇s urine distillate was studied in human polymorphonuclear leukocytes （HPNLs） and human peripheral lymphocytes in vitro challenged with manganese dioxide and hexavalent chromium as established genotoxicants and clastogens which could cause induction of DNA strand break, chromosomal aberration and micronucleus. Three different levels of RCUD： 1 μL/mL, 50 μL/mL and 100 μL/mL, were used in the study. Results Manganese dioxide and hexavalent chromium caused statistically significant DNA strand break, chromosomal aberration and micronucleus formation, which could be protected by redisfilled cow＇s urine distillate. Conclusion The redistilled cow＇s urine distillate posseses strong anfigenotoxic and antielastogenic properties against HPNLs and HLC treated with Cr^＋6 and MnO2. This property is mainly due to the antioxidants present in RCUD.

Vasopressors are routinely used to counteract hypotension after neuraxial anesthesia in Obstetrics. The understanding of the mechanism of hypotension and the choice of vasopressor has evolved over the years to a point where phenylephrine has become the preferred vasopressor. Due to the absence of definitive evidence showing absolute clinical benefit of one over the other, especially in emergency and high-risk Cesarean sections, our choice of phenylephrine over the other vasopressors like mephentermine, metaraminol, and ephedrine is guided by indirect evidence on fetalacid-base status. This review article evaluates the present day evidence on the various vasopressors used in obstetric anesthesia today.
