Geochemical constraints on the tectonic setting of the sonakhan Greenstone Belt, Bastar Craton, Central India

The Neo-Archean sonakhan Greenstone Belt(sGB) located in the north-eastern fringes of Bastar craton,Central India, is dominated by Basalts, Andesites, Dacites and Rhyolites association. Partial melting modeling on the sGB metabasalts indicates that these rocks were derived by20% melting of spinel peridotite. Fractional crystallisation modeling with REE reveal that the most evolved samples represent the product of fractional crystallization of least evolved magma with 35% plagioclase, 35% clinopyroxene,20% olivine, 5% magnetite and 5% ilmenite as fractionating minerals with 40% remaining magma. Depletion of HFsE with reference to the LILE and LREE/HFsE ratios and Nb, Zr anomalies in the multi-element diagram of the mafic rocks of sGB indicate Island arc magmatic *** enriched Th/Yb values further substantiate that the mantle arrays were modified by subduction-related fluids or melts. The general conclusions drawn indicate that the metabasalts from the sGB were formed as a result of subduction of an intraoceanic lithosphere in a fore-arc suprasubduction zone environment.

Earth＇s land cover has been extensively transformed over time due to both human activities and natural causes. Previous global studies have focused on developing spatial and temporal patterns of dominant human land-use activities （e.g., cropland, pastureland, urban land, wood harvest）. Process-based modeling studies adopt different strategies to estimate the changes in land cover by using these land-use data sets in combination with a potential vegetation map, and subsequently use this information for impact assessments. However, due to unaccounted changes in land cover （resulting from both indirect anthropogenic and natural causes）, heterogeneity in land-use/cover （LUC） conversions among grid cells, even for the same land use activity, and uncertainty associated with potential vegetation mapping and historical estimates of human land use result in land cover estimates that are substantially different compared to results acquired from remote sensing observations. Here, we present a method to implicitly account for the differences arising from these uncertainties in order to provide historical estimates of land cover that are consistent with satellite estimates for recent years. Due to uncertainty in historical agricultural land use, we use three widely accepted global estimates of cropland and pastureland in combination with common wood harvest and urban land data sets to generate three distinct estimates of historical land-cover change and underlying LUC conversions. Hence, these distinct historical reconstructions offer a wide range of plausible regional estimates of uncertainty and the extent to which different ecosystems have undergone changes. The annual land cover maps and LUC conversion maps are reported at 0.5°×0.5° resolution and describe the area of 28 land- cover types and respective underlying land-use transitions. The high-performance computing paradigm needs high-speed switching fabrics to meet the heavy traffic generated by their *** switching fabrics are efficiently driven by the deployed scheduling *** this paper,we proposed two scheduling algorithms for input queued switches whose operations are based on ranking *** first,we proposed a simple 2-Bit(s2B)scheme which uses binary ranking procedure and queue size for scheduling the ***,the Virtual Output Queue(VOQ)set with maximum number of empty queues receives higher rank than other VOQ’*** simulation,we showed s2B has better throughput performance than Highest Ranking First(HRF)arbitration under uniform,and non-uniform traffic *** further improve the throughput-delay performance,an Enhanced 2-Bit(E2B)approach is *** approach adopts an integer representation for rank,which is the number of empty queues in a VOQ *** simulation result shows E2B outperforms s2B and HRF scheduling algorithms with maximum throughput-delay ***,the algorithms are simulated under hotspot traffic and E2B proves to be more efficient.

Computational prediction of potential microRNAs （miRNAs） and their target genes was performed to identify the miRNAs and genes associated with temperature response in rice. The data of temperature-responsive miRNAs of Arabidopsis, and miRNAs and the whole genome data of rice were used to predict potential miRNAs in Oryza sativa involved in temperature response. A total of 55 miRNAs were common in both the species, and 27 miRNAs were predicted at the first time in rice. Target genes were searched for these 27 miRNAs in rice genome following stringent criteria. Real time PCR based on expression analysis of nine miRNAs showed that majority of the miRNAs were down regulated under heat stress for rice cultivar Nagina 22. Furthermore, miR169, miR1884 and miR160 showed differential expression in root and shoot tissues of rice. Identification and expression studies of miRNAs during heat stress will advance the understanding of gene regulation under stress in rice.

Antifertility activity of Artemisia vulgaris leaves on female Wistar rats

AIM： To evaluate the antifertility activity of Artemisia vulgar＆ leaves on female Wistar rats. METHOD： The plant extract was tested for its effect on implant formation at two dose levels, 300 and 600 *** 1, respectively. The effective methanolic plant extract was further studied for estrogenic potency on ovariectomised immature female Wistar rats. REsULTs： The data presented in this study demonstrate the antifertility potential of Artemisia vulgar＆ methanolic leaf extract, which shows a strong and significant decrease in implant formation （100%）, and a strong estrogenic effect resulting in a significant increase in uterine weight in immature ovariectomised rats. These observations suggest that the methanolic extract of Artemisia vulgaris leaves has strong anti-implantation activity and estrogenic activity. CONCLUsION： The methanolic plant extract ofA. vulgaris has antifertility activity.

Antiplatelet therapy, which reduces platelet activation and aggregation, is the corner stone of treatment for patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Clopidogrel is an established oral antiplatelet medication of thienopyridine class, which inhibits blood clots in coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cerebrovascular disease. Many studies have revealed that high loading dose clopidogrel in patients undergoing PCI. This review article investigates the rationale and role of high loading dose clopidogrel in patients undergoing PCI.

概述:眼睑痉挛是眼轮匝肌不受控制的痉挛性收缩导致眼睛异常抽动或抽搐。它通常持续几秒钟到几分钟,但在严重的情况下,眼睛可能会紧闭数小时。它可能是良性的,无论是原发的还是继发于基底节、锥体束的病变,眼部的创伤或局部病理情况引起的,或是药物所致的。在这里,我们报告一例心理性眼睑痉挛的病例。患者,女性,65岁,发作性无法睁眼6个月。她反复出现突然闭眼,往往要持续1 h。这使其无法人际交往,社会功能受损。详细的体检、包括神经影像学在内的检查排除了神经系统或其他系统性病因。口服药物治疗效果不佳,只在右侧眼睑肌射7个单位的肉毒素,几秒钟内,其双眼症状均得以缓解。之后一次治疗时,只用针刺一下一只眼睛,无需任何药物或暗示,患者就睁开紧闭的双眼。本病例中,患者曾报告过最近家务繁重感到有压力。这一病例表明,真正的运动障碍与功能性障碍鉴别往往有一定难度。因此,在进行任何有创治疗之前,评估患者的内外应激,并对此处理,将获益匪浅。
