This study investigates the cryogenic tensile properties and fracture behavior of fiction stir welded and post-weld heat-treated joints of 32Mn-7Cr-1Mo-0.3N steel. Cryogenic brittle fracture, which occurred in the as-welded joint, is related to the residual particles that contain tungsten in the joint band structure. Post-weld water toughening resulted in the cryogenic intergranular brittleness of the joint, which is related to the non-equilibrium segregation of solute atoms during the post-weld water toughening. Annealing at 55OC for 30rain can effectively inhibit the cryogenic intergranular brittleness of the post- weld water-toughened joint. The yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and uniform elongation of the annealed joint are approximately 95%, 87%, and 94% of the corresponding data of the base metal.

Hydrogen storage properties of MgH2 co-catalyzed by LaH3 and NbH

To improve the hydrogen storage properties of Mg-based alloys, a composite material of MgH_2 + 10wt%LaH_3 + 10wt%NbH was prepared by a mechanical milling method. The composite exhibited favorable hydrogen desorption properties, releasing 0.67wt% H2 within 20 min at 548 K, which was ascribed to the co-catalytic effect of LaH_3 and NbH upon dehydriding of MgH_2. By contrast, pure MgH_2, an MgH_2 + 20wt%LaH_3 composite, and an MgH_2 + 20wt%NbH composite only released 0.1wt%, 0.28wt%, and 0.57wt% H2, respectively, under the same conditions. Analyses by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy showed that the composite particle size was small. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopic mapping demonstrated that La and Nb were distributed homogeneously in the matrix. Differential thermal analysis revealed that the dehydriding peak temperature of the MgH_2 + 10wt%LaH_3 + 10wt%NbH composite was 595.03 K, which was 94.26 K lower than that of pure MgH_2. The introduction of LaH_3 and NbH was beneficial to the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_2.

The microstructures and hot tensile behaviors of ZK30 alloys subjected to single-and multi-pass friction stir processing(FSP)were systematically *** single-pass FSP(S-FSP),coarse grains underwent refinement to 1−2μm,with a distinct basal texture emerging in the stir zone(SZ).Additionally,second-phase particles were fragmented,dispersed,and partially ***-pass FSP(M-FSP)further enhanced the homogeneity of the microstructure,reduced texture intensity differences,and decreased the fraction of second-phase particles by 50%.Both S-FSP and M-FSP SZs demonstrated superplasticity at strain rates below 1×10^(−3)s^(−1)and at temperatures of 250−350℃.The S-FSP SZ exhibited an elongation of 390%at 250℃and 1×10^(−4)s^(−1),while the M-FSP SZ achieved an elongation of 406%at 350℃and 1×10^(−3)s^(−1).The superplastic deformation of SZ was co-dominated by grain boundary sliding(GBS)and the solute-drag mechanism in S-FSP and mainly by GBS in M-FSP.

Nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers serve as the physical platform for nonadiabatic holonomic quantum *** quantum computation has entered the noisy intermediate-scale era, building accurate intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is clearly necessary. Given that measurements are the sole means of extracting information, they play an indispensable role in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers. Accordingly, developing methods to reduce measurement errors in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is of great importance. However, while much attention has been given to the research on nonadiabatic holonomic gates, the research on reducing measurement errors in nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers is severely lacking. In this study, we propose a measurement error reduction method tailored for intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers. The reason we say this is because our method can not only reduce the measurement errors in the computer but also be useful in mitigating errors originating from nonadiabatic holonomic gates. Given these features,our method significantly advances the construction of accurate intermediate-scale nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computers.

High temperature (HT) stress causes male sterility,leading to reduced upland cotton ***,we identified a key gene,Casein Kinase I (GhCKI),that negatively regulates male fertility in upland cotton under ***,conventional genetic manipulations of GhCKI would result in male sterility,hindering its utilization in breeding ***,we engineered quantitative variation for anther thermotolerance-related traits in upland cotton by creating weak promoter alleles of GhCKI genes,using CRISPR/Cas9 and CRISPR/Cpf1genome ***,we screened and identified two new upland cotton plant lines exhibiting a HT-tolerant phenotype with edited GhCKI promoters,and characterized their corresponding heat-tolerant allelic *** research revealed that the primary reason for the HT tolerance of the GhCKI promoter editing mutants is that the trans-acting factors GhMYB73 and GhMYB4,which positively regulate GhCKI expression under HT,failed to bind and activate the expression of ***,our study not only provides a rapid strategy to generate new beneficial alleles but also offers novel germplasm resources and molecular insights for crop HT tolerance breeding.

Cells are the fundamental units of biological systems and exhibit unique development trajectories and molecular features. Our exploration of how the genomes orchestrate the formation and maintenance of each cell, and control the cellular phenotypes of various organismsis, is both captivating and intricate. Since the inception of the first single-cell RNA technology, technologies related to single-cell sequencing have experienced rapid advancements in recent years. These technologies have expanded horizontally to include single-cell genome, epigenome,proteome, and metabolome, while vertically, they have progressed to integrate multiple omics data and incorporate additional information such as spatial sc RNA-seq and CRISPR screening. Single-cell omics represent a groundbreaking advancement in the biomedical field,offering profound insights into the understanding of complex diseases, including cancers. Here, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in single-cell omics technologies, with a specific focus on the methodology section. This overview aims to guide researchers in selecting appropriate methods for single-cell sequencing and related data analysis.

In the Internet era,recommendation systems play a crucial role in helping users find relevant information from large *** imbalance is known to severely affect data quality,and therefore reduce the performance of recommendation *** to the imbalance,machine learning algorithms tend to classify inputs into the positive(majority)class every time to achieve high prediction *** can be categorized such as by features and classes,but most studies consider only class *** this paper,we propose a recommendation system that can integrate multiple networks to adapt to a large number of imbalanced features and can deal with highly skewed and imbalanced datasets through a loss *** propose a loss aware feature attention mechanism(LAFAM)to solve the issue of feature *** network incorporates an attention mechanism and uses multiple sub-networks to classify and learn *** better results,the network can learn the weights of sub-networks and assign higher weights to important *** propose suppression loss to address class imbalance,which favors negative loss by penalizing positive loss,and pays more attention to sample points near the decision *** on two large-scale datasets verify that the performance of the proposed system is greatly improved compared to baseline methods.
