Rice and wheat provide nearly 40%of human calorie and protein *** share a common ancestor and belong to the Poaceae(grass)*** their genetic homology is crucial for developing new cultivars with enhanced *** wheat genes and gene families have been characterized based on their rice ***–wheat orthology can identify genetic regions that regulate similar traits in both ***–wheat comparative genomics can identify candidate wheat genes in a genomic region identified by association or QTL mapping,deduce their putative functions and biochemical pathways,and develop molecular markers for marker-assisted breeding.A knowledge of gene homology facilitates the transfer between crops of genes or genomic regions associated with desirable traits by genetic engineering,gene editing,or wide crossing.

目的了解高校护理专业学生突发重大传染病事件应急能力现状及影响因素,提出相应对策。方法采用随机抽样的方法抽取392名学生,以在线填写问卷的方式调查其对突发重大传染病事件的应急能力。结果护理专业学生突发重大传染病事件应急能力调查问卷总分为(123.98±23.64)分,得分率为64.21%。其中,一级条目中预防能力条目得分率最高,为74.27%;准备能力条目得分率最低,为56.53%。结论护理专业学生突发重大传染病事件应急能力处于中等偏下水平,学历层次、年级、是否参加过相关培训、是否取得护士执业资格证是其主要影响因素。

目的探讨护理专业学生对“互联网+护理服务”的认知现状、培训意愿及相关影响因素,为提高学生的认知度及积极性提供参考。方法采用整群抽样调查法选取287名学生为研究对象,采用基本资料调查表、“互联网+护理服务”工作意愿和培训需求问卷进行调查。结果学生对“互联网+护理服务”的认知度不高,培训意愿处于中等水平,更愿意从事教育指导类工作。结论建议院校在授课过程中加大“互联网+护理服务”宣传力度,转变教学理念,完善教学内容,加强相关居家护理专科操作技能培训,提升学生对“互联网+护理服务”的认知度,使其能更好地满足护理需求。

Objective In this study,the combined effect of two stressors,namely,electromagnetic fields(EMFs)from mobile phones and fructose consumption,on hypothalamic and hepatic master metabolic regulators of the AMPK/SIRT1-UCP2/FOXO1 pathway were elucidated to delineate the underlying molecular mechanisms of insulin *** Weaned Wistar rats(28 days old)were divided into 4 groups:Normal,Exposure Only(ExpO),Fructose Only(FruO),and Exposure and Fructose(EF).Each group was provided standard laboratory chow ad libitum for 8 ***,the control groups,namely,the Normal and FruO groups,had unrestricted access to drinking water and fructose solution(15%),***,the respective treatment groups,namely,the ExpO and EF groups,received EMF exposure(1,760 MHz,2 h/day x 8 weeks).In early adulthood,mitochondrial function,insulin receptor signaling,and oxidative stress signals in hypothalamic and hepatic tissues were assessed using western blotting and biochemical *** In the hypothalamic tissue of EF,SIRT1,FOXO 1,p-PI3K,p-AKT,ComplexⅢ,UCP2,MnSOD,and catalase expressions and OXPHOS and GSH activities were significantly decreased(P<0.05)compared to the Normal,ExpO,and FruO *** hepatic tissue of EF,the p-AMPKα,SIRT1,FOXO1,IRS1,p-PI3K,ComplexⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ,UCP2,and MnSOD expressions and the activity of OXPHOS,SOD,catalase,and GSH were significantly reduced compared to the Normal group(P<0.05).Conclusion The findings suggest that the combination of EMF exposure and fructose consumption during childhood and adolescence in Wistar rats disrupts the closely interlinked and multi-regulated crosstalk of insulin receptor signals,mitochondrial OXPHOS,and the antioxidant defense system in the hypothalamus and liver.

UEs Power Reduction Evolution with Adaptive Mechanism over LTE Wireless Networks

At present, the major drawback for mobile phones is the issue of power consumption. As one of the alternatives to decrease the power consumption of standard, power-hungry location-based services usually require the knowledge of how individual phone features consume power. A typical phone feature is that the applications related to multimedia streaming utilize more power while receiving, processing, and displaying the multimedia contents, thus contributing to the increased power consumption. There is a growing concern that current battery modules have limited capability in fulfilling the long-term energy need for the progress on the mobile phone because of increasing power consumption during multimedia streaming processes. Considering this, in this paper, we provide an offline meaning sleep-mode method to compute the minimum power consumption comparing with the power-on solution to save power by implementing energy rate adaptation(RA) mechanism based on mobile excess energy level purpose to save battery power use. Our simulation results show that our RA method preserves efficient power while achieving better throughput compared with the mechanism without rate adaptation(WRA).

Remdesivir, dexamethasone and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors use and mortality outcomes in COVID-19 patients with concomitant troponin elevation

BACKGROUND There are indications that viral myocarditis,demand ischemia,and renin-angio-tensin-aldosterone system pathway activation play essential roles in troponin elevation in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** medications and steroids are used to treat viral myocarditis,but their effect in patients with elevated troponin,possibly from myocarditis,has not been *** To evaluate the effect of dexamethasone,remdesivir,and angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE)inhibitors(ACEI)on mortality in COVID-19 patients with elevated *** Our retrospective observational study involved 1788 COVID-19 patients at seven hospitals in Southern California,United *** did a backward selection Cox multivariate regression analysis to determine predictors of mortality in our study ***,we did a Kaplan Meier survival analysis in the subset of patients with elevated troponin,comparing survival in patients that received dexamethasone,remdesivir,and ACEI with those that did *** The mean age was 66 years(range 20-110),troponin elevation was noted in 11.5%of the patients,and 29.9%*** patients'age[hazard ratio(HR)=1.02,P<0.001],intensive care unit admission(HR=5.07,P<0.001),and ventilator use(HR=0.68,P=0.02)were significantly associated with *** the subset of patients with elevated troponin,there was no statistically significant difference in survival in those that received remdesivir(0.07),dexamethasone(P=0.63),or ACEI(P=0.8)and those that did *** Although elevated troponin in COVID-19 patients has been associated with viral myocarditis and ACE II receptors,conventional viral myocarditis treatment,including antiviral and steroids,and ACEI did not show any effect on mortality in these patients.
