An electrochemiluminescent magneto-immunosensor for ultrasensitive detection of hs-cTnI on a microfluidic chip

Sensitive detection and precise quantitation of trace-level crucial biomarkers in a complex sample matrix has become an important area of *** example,the detection of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin I (hs-cTnI) is strongly recommended in clinical guidelines for early diagnosis of acute myocardial *** on the use of an electrode modified by single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and a Ru(bpy)32+-doped silica nanoparticle (Ru@SiO2)/tripropylamine (TPA) system,a novel type of electrochemiluminescent (ECL) magnetoimmunosensor is developed for ultrasensitive detection of *** this approach,a large amount of[Ru(bpy)3]2+is loaded in SiO2(silica nanoparticles) as luminophores with high luminescent efficiency and SWCNTs as electrode surface modification material with excellent electrooxidation ability for ***,a hierarchical micropillar array of microstructures is fabricated with a magnet placed at each end to efficiently confine a single layer of immunomagnetic microbeads on the surface of the electrode and enable 7.5-fold signal enhancement In particular,the use of transparent SWCNTs to modify a transparent ITO electrode provides a two-order-of-magnitude ECL signal amplification.A good linear calibration curve is developed for hs-cTnI concentrations over a wide range from 10 fg/ml to 10 ng/ml,with the limit of detection calculated as 8.720 fg/ml (S/N=3).This ultrasensitive immunosensor exhibits superior detection performance with remarkable stability,reproducibility,and *** recoveries are obtained in the detection of hs-cTnI in human serum,providing a potentia analysis protocol for clinical applications.

Efficacy and safety of Yangxinshi tablet for chronic heart failure:A systematic review and meta-analysis

BACKGROUND The specific benefits of Yangxinshi tablet(YXST)in the treating chronic heart failure(CHF)remain *** To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of YXST in the treatment of *** Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)investigating YXST for CHF treatment were retrieved from eight public databases up to November ***-analyses of the included clinical studies were conducted using Review Manager *** Twenty RCTs and 1845 patients were *** meta-analysis results showed that the YXST combination group,compared to the conventional drug group,significantly increased the clinical efficacy rate by 23%[relative risk(RR)=1.23,95%CI:1.17-1.29],(Png/L[standardized MD(SMD)=-1.03,95%CI:-1.32 to-0.74,Png/L(MD=-80.95,95%CI:-143.31 to-18.59,P=0.01),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter by 3.92 mm(MD=-3.92,95%CI:-5.06 to-2.78,Png safety,neither group reported any serious adverse events during treatment(RR=0.54,95%CI:0.15-1.90,P=0.33).In addition,Egger's test results indicated no significant publication bias(P=0.557).CONCLUSION YXST effectively improves clinical symptoms and cardiac function in patients with CHF while maintaining a favorable safety profile,suggesting its potential as a therapeutic strategy for CHF.

BACKGROUND The benefits and risks of Xileisan(XLS)in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(UC)remain *** The present study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the combination of XLS and mesalazine when treating *** We searched eight databases for clinical trials evaluating the combination of XLS and mesalazine in the treatment of UC,up to January ***-analysis and trial sequential analysis(TSA)were performed using Revman 5.3 and TSA 0.***.5.10 beta,*** The present study included 13 clinical studies involving 990 patients,of which 501 patients received XLS combined with mesalazine while 489 patients received mesalazine *** meta-analysis showed that,in terms of efficacy,the combination of XLS and mesalazine significantly improved the clinical efficacy rate by 22%[risk ratio(RR)=1.22;95%CI:1.15–1.28;Png the duration of abdominal pain by 2.25 days[mean difference(MD)=-2.25;95%CI:-3.35 to-1.14;Png/mL(MD=-16.25;95%CI:-20.48 to-12.01;Png/mL(MD=-14.14;95%CI:-24.89 to-3.39;P=0.01).The TSA indicated conclusiveness in the meta-analysis of the efficacy *** terms of safety,the meta-analysis revealed that the combination of XLS and mesalazine did not increase the occurrence of total and gastrointestinal adverse events,abdominal distension,and erythema(P>0.05).The TSA showed non conclusive findings in the meta-analysis of the safety ***’s test showed no publication bias(P=0.734).CONCLUSION Treatment with XLS alleviated the clinical symptoms,intestinal mucosal injury,and inflammatory response in patients with UC,while demonstrating good safety.

Direct methanol fuel cell technology recently becomes the focus of both academic and engineering circles,which stimulates the exploitation and utilization of advanced electrode catalysts with high activity and long ***,we demonstrate a robust bottom-up approach to the spatial construction of three-dimensional(3D) spinel manganese-cobalt oxide-modified N-doped graphene nanoarchitectures decorated with ultrasmall Pt nanoparticles(Pt/MnCo_(2)O_(4)-ng) via a controllable selfassembly *** incorporation of MnCo_(2)O_(4)nanocrystals provides abundant hydroxyl sources to promote the oxidative removal of CO-like byproducts on Pt sites,while the existence of 3D porous N-doped graphene networks facilitates the transportation of both ions and electrons in the hybrid system,thus giving rise to remarkable synergetic coupling effects during the methanol oxidation ***,the optimized Pt/MnCo_(2)O_(4)-ng nano architecture expres ses exceptional electrocatalytic properties with a large electrochemically active surface area of 99.5 m^(2)·g^(-1),a high mass activity of1508.3 mA·mg^(-1),strong toxicity resistance and reliable long-term durability,which have obvious competitive advantages over those of conventional Pt/carbon black,Pt/carbon nano tube,Pt/graphene,and Pt/N-doped graphene catalysts with the same Pt usage.

Modeling the high-energy emission from the gamma-ray binary 1FGL J1018.6–5856

1FGL J1018.6–5856 is a high mass gamma-ray binary containing a compact object orbiting around a massive star with a period of 16.544 *** the compact object is a pulsar,non-thermal emissions are likely produced by electrons accelerated at the termination shock,and may also originate from the magnetosphere and the un-shocked wind of the *** this paper,we investigate the non-thermal emissions from the wind and the shock with different viewing geometries and study the multi-wavelength emissions from 1FGL J1018.6–*** present the analysis results of the Fermi/LAT using nearly 10 years of *** phase-resolved spectra indicate that the Ge V emissions comprise a rather steady component that does not vary with orbital motion and a modulated component that shows flux maximum around inferior *** ke V/Te V light curves of 1FGL J1018.6–5856 also exhibit a sharp peak around inferior conjunction,which are attributed to the boosted emission from the shock,while the broad sinusoidal modulations could be originating from the deflected shock tail at a larger *** modulations of Ge V flux are likely caused by the boosted synchrotron emission from the shock and the IC emission from the unshocked pulsar wind,while the steady component comes from the outer gap of the pulsar ***,we discuss the similarities and differences of 1FGL J1018.6–5856 with other binaries,like LS 5039.

Highly sensitive detection of mercury（Ⅱ） ions with few-layer molybdenum disulfide

Two-dimensional （2D） layered transition metal dichalcogenide （TMD） materials （e.g., MoS2） have attracted considerable interest due to their atomically thin geometry and semiconducting electronic properties. With ultrahigh surface to volume ratio, the electronic properties of these atomically thin semiconductors can be readily modulated by their environment. Here we report an investigation of the effects of mercury（II）（Hg^2＋） ions on the electrical transport properties of few-layer molybdenum disulfide （MoS2）. The interaction between Hg^2＋ ions and few-layer MoS2 was studied by field-effect transistor measurements and photoluminescence. Due to a high binding affinity between Hg2. ions and the sulfur sites on the surface of MoS2 layers, Hg^2＋ ions can strongly bind to MoS2. We show that the binding of Hg^2＋ can produce a p-type doping effect to reduce the electron concentration in n-type few-layer MoS2. It can thus effectively modulate the electron transport and photoluminescence properties in few-layer MoS2. By monitoring the conductance change of few-layer MoS2 in varying concentration Hg2~ solutions, we further show that few-layer MoS2 transistors can function as highly sensitive sensors for rapid electrical detection of Hg^2＋ ion with a detection limit of 30 pM.

Signal and image restoration problems are often solved by minimizing a cost function consisting of an l2 data-fidelity term and a regularization term. We consider a class of convex and edge-preserving regularization functions. In specific, half-quadratic regularization as a fixed-point iteration method is usually employed to solve this problem. The main aim of this paper is to solve the above-described signal and image restoration problems with the half-quadratic regularization technique by making use of the Newton method. At each iteration of the Newton method, the Newton equation is a structured system of linear equations of a symmetric positive definite coefficient matrix, and may be efficiently solved by the preconditioned conjugate gradient method accelerated with the modified block SSOR preconditioner. Our experimental results show that the modified block-SSOR preconditioned conjugate gradient method is feasible and effective for further improving the numerical performance of the half-quadratic regularization approach.

As a hydrolase, chymotrypsin(CHT) is involved in many physiological activities, and its abnormal activity is closely related to diabetes, pancreatic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. In this work,an innovative long-wavelength emission fluorescent probe TCF-CHT was designed and synthesized for the high specificity detection of CHT, which utilized TCF-OH and a mimetic peptide substrate 4-bromobutyryl as chromogenic group and recognition group, respectively. TCF-CHT exhibited excellent selectivity and eye-catching sensitivity(8.91 ng/m L) towards CHT, “off-on” long-wavelength emission at 670 nm and large Stokes shift(140 nm). Furthermore, the successful fulfillment and perfect performance in imaging endogenous CHT in complex organisms(P815 cells, HepG2 cells, zebrafish and tumor-bearing mice) verified its potential as a powerful tool for the recognition of CHT in complicated biological environments.
