We complete the derivation of the Cornwall-Jackiw-Tomboulis effective potentiM for quark propagator at finite temperature and finite quark chemical potential in the real-time formalism of thermal field theory and in Landau gauge. In the approximation that the function A（p^2） in inverse quark propagator is replaced by unity, by means of the running gauge coupling and the quark mass function invariant under the renormalization group in zero temperature Quantum Chromadynamics （QCD）, we obtain a calculable expression for the thermal effective potential, which will be a useful means to research chiral phase transition in QCD in the real-time formalism.

The analysis based on the renormalized effective potential indicates that, similar to in the 4D two-flavor Nambu-Jona-Lasinio （NJL） model, in a 2D two-flavor Gross-Neveu model, the interplay between the quark-antiquark and the diquark ,condensates in vacuum also depends on Gs/Hs, the ratio of the coupling constants in scalar quarkantiquark and scalar diquark channel. Only the pure quark-antiquark condensates exist if Gs/Hs 〉 2/3, which is just the ratio of the color numbers of the quarks participating in the diquark and quark-antiquark condensates. The two condensates will coexist if 0 〈 Gs/Hs 〈 2/3. However, different from the 4D NJL model, the pure diquark condensates arise only at Gs/Hs = 0 and are not in a possibly finite region of Gs/Hs below 2/3.

Global climate changes have created intense naturaldisasters such as typhoons, which may cause serious damage topower systems. As an emerging renewable energy resource, offshore wind power has great potential in power systems resilienceenhancement with its rapid start-up capability and developmentof anti-typhoon technology. In this paper, a restoration strategyby offshore wind power considering risk is proposed to speedup the restoration process and enhance system resilience. Specifically, a failure risk model of an individual wind turbine andthen the whole wind farm is built for predicting severe weather’simpact, with focus on failure probability. Further, a quantificationmodel of resilience enhancement and risk cost, based on customerinterruption cost assessment method, is introduced. Then, a twostage optimized decision-making model is proposed to solve thescheme of offshore wind power and conventional power unitsin load restoration process. Case studies are undertaken on amodified IEEE RTS-79 system and results indicate the proposedrestoration strategy can shorten duration of restoration andreduce customers’ economic losses meanwhile ensuring systemsafety.

A reduction in adult neurogenesis is associated with behavioral abnormalities in patients with Alzheimer's ***,enhancing adult neurogenesis represents a promising therapeutic approach for mitigating disease symptoms and ***,nonpharmacological interventions aimed at inducing adult neurogenesis are currently *** individual non-pharmacological interventions,such as aerobic exercise,acousto-optic stimulation,and olfactory stimulation,have shown limited capacity to improve neurogenesis and cognitive function in patients with Alzheimer's disease,the therapeutic effect of a strategy that combines these interventions has not been fully *** this study,we observed an age-dependent decrease in adult neurogenesis and a concurrent increase in amyloid-beta accumulation in the hippocampus of amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice aged 2-8 *** deposition became evident at 4 months,while neurogenesis declined by 6 months,further deteriorating as the disease ***,following a 4-week multifactor stimulation protocol,which encompassed treadmill running(46 min/d,10 m/min,6 days per week),40 Hz acousto-optic stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),and olfactory stimulation(1 hour/day,6 days/week),we found a significant increase in the number of newborn cells(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive cells),immature neurons(doublecortin-positive cells),newborn immature neurons(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/doublecortin-positive cells),and newborn astrocytes(5'-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-positive/glial fibrillary acidic protein-positive cells).Additionally,the amyloid-beta load in the hippocampus *** findings suggest that multifactor stimulation can enhance adult hippocampal neurogenesis and mitigate amyloid-beta neuropathology in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 ***,cognitive abilities were improved,and depressive symptoms were alleviated in amyloid precursor protein/presenilin 1 mice

Efficient regulation of thermal radiation is an effective way to conserve energy consumption of *** windows are the least energy-efficient part of buildings,their thermal radiation regulation is highly demanded,especially in the changing environment,but is still a ***,by employing a kirigami structure,we design a variable-angle thermal reflector as a transparent envelope of windows for their thermal radiation *** envelope can be easily switched between heating and cooling modes by loading different pre-stresses,which endow the envelope windows with the ability of temperature regulation,and the interior temperature of a building model can be reduced by~3.3°C under cooling mode and increased by~3.9°C under heating mode in the outdoor *** improved thermal management of windows by the adaptive envelope provides an extra heating,ventilation,and air-conditioning energy savings percentage of 13%to 29%per year for buildings located in different climate zones around the world,making the kirigami envelope windows a promising way for energy-saving utilization.

It has been reported recently that there are two distinct subpopulations of capillary endothelial cells in the mammalian lungs:gCap(general capillary)and aCap(aerocyte).They are identified by two unique markers,respectively:plasmalemmal vesicle-associated protein(PLVAP)and carbonic anhydrase IV(CAR4).Here,we report two novel knock-in mouse lines Plvap-CreER and Car4-CreER,which genetically target gCap and aCap,*** by tamoxifen,the Plvap-CreER and Car4-CreER alleles mediate specific and efficient Cre-loxP recombinations in PLVAP+gCap and CAR4+aCap,respectively,in the *** two mouse lines are useful genetic tools to investigate cell fates and functions of PLVAP+and CAR4+cells in lung homeostasis,injury and repair.

The glycosylation of hydroxylcoumarin was investigated by using suspension cultures of hairy roots of Polygonum multiflorum. Two new coumarin glucosides （3 and 4） were biosysthesized by regioselectively glycosylation of corresponding substrates （1 and 2） in the system. The structures of two products were identified as 7-hydroxy-4-methylcoumarin 5-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and 7- hydroxy-3,4-dimethylcoumarin 5-O-β-D-glucopyranoside on the ground of chemical and spectroscopic methods, respectively. 2007 rong Min Yu. Ocean spiciness is referred to as density-compensated temperature and salinity variations with warm(cool)and salty(fresh)waters having high(low)spiciness,*** structure and evolution of density-compensated(warm/salty or cool/fresh)spiciness anomalies are investigated in the North Pacific thermocline using Argo observations during the period *** well-organized decadal spiciness events are identified through isopycnal surface *** warm/salty spiciness anomaly of about 0.15°C and 0.05 g kg^(−1)temperature and salinity perturbations on the 25 kg m^(−1)isopycnal surface appeared in the eastern subtropical North Pacific at(18°-30°N,120°-150°W)in 2007,which then migrated southwestward along the mean circulation and arrived in the western tropics at(~15°N,145°E-175°W)in 2012-13,with the reduced salinity perturbation of about 0.043 g kg^(−1).Another cool/fresh spiciness anomaly of about−0.2°C and−0.07 g kg^(−1)temperature and salinity perturbations originated from the eastern subtropics at(120°-150°W,~30°N)in 2014 and followed a similar advective pathway during the period from 2014-15 to *** subduction pathway can be adequately determined by the mean Montgomery stream function on the isopycnal surface;the propagation direction and speed are in good agreement with the expectation for the role played by advection due to the mean geostrophic ***,the subducted decadal spiciness anomalies can have negative feedback on sea surface temperature(SST)variability in the western tropical Pacific through the diapycnal *** identifications of these density-compensated spiciness anomalies and their propagation pathways provide a clear illustration of the oceanic extratropics-tropics interactions in the North Pacific Ocean.

El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)can be currently predicted reasonably well six months and longer,but large biases and uncertainties remain in its real-time *** approaches have been taken to improve understanding of ENSO processes,and different models for ENSO predictions have been developed,including linear statistical models based on principal oscillation pattern(POP)analyses,convolutional neural networks(CNNs),and so ***,we develop a novel hybrid model,named as POP-Net,by combining the POP analysis procedure with CNN-long short-term memory(LSTM)algorithm to predict the Niño-3.4 sea surface temperature(SST)*** predictions are compared with each other from the corresponding three models:POP model,CNN-LSTM model,and POP-Net,*** POP-based pre-processing acts to enhance ENSO-related signals of interest while filtering unrelated ***,an improved prediction is achieved in the POP-Net relative to *** POP-Net shows a high-correlation skill for 17-month lead time prediction(correlation coefficients exceeding 0.5)during the 1994-2020 validation *** POP-Net also alleviates the spring predictability barrier(SPB).It is concluded that value-added artificial neural networks for improved ENSO predictions are possible by including the process-oriented analyses to enhance signal representations.
