Comparative Assessment of Impacts of Future Climate Change on Runoff in Upper Daqinghe Basin,China

Assessing runoff changes is of great importance especially its responses to the projected future climate change on local scale basins because such analyses are generally done on global and regional scales which may lead to generalized conclusions rather than specific *** change affected the runoff variation in the past in the upper Daqinghe Basin,however,the climate was mainly considered uncertain and still needs further studies,especially its future impacts on runoff for better water resources management and *** with a set of climate simulations,a daily conceptual hydrological model(MIKE11-NAM)was applied to assess the impact of climate change on runoff conditions in the Daomaguan,Fuping and Zijingguan basins in the upper Daqinghe *** hydrological data(2008–2017)were used to evaluate the applicability of the MIKE11-NAM *** bias correction,future projected climate change and its impacts on runoff(2025–2054)were analysed and compared to the baseline period(1985–2014)under three shared social economic pathways(SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,and SSP5-8.5)scenarios from Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6)*** MIKE-11 NAM model was applicable in all three Basins,with both R^(2)and Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency coefficients greater than 0.6 at daily scale for both calibration(2009–2011)and validation(2012–2017)periods,*** uncertainties remain,temperature and precipitation are projected to increase compared to the baseline where higher increases in precipitation and temperature are projected to occur under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios,respectively in all the *** changes will range between 12%–19%whereas temperature change will be 2.0℃–2.5℃ under the SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios,*** addition,higher warming is projected to occur in colder months than in warmer ***,the runoff of these three basins is projected to respond to projected climate changes differe

径流变化对于水资源管理至关重要,然而,未来气候变化对阜平流域径流的影响仍未知。本文基于实测数据及4个区域气候模式(RCMs)的集合数据,使用MIKE11-NAM模型模拟了阜平流域(大清河流域上游的子流域)当前(2008—2017年)及在SSP1-2.6、SSP2-4.5和SSP5-8.53种情景下的未来(2025—2054年)径流变化情况。结果表明,MIKE11-NAM模型在日径流模拟中表现良好,R^(2)和NSE在校准期分别为0.82和0.81,在验证期分别为0.87和0.87。偏差校正后,观测数据和RCM数据间的相关性提高。与基准期(1985—2014年)相比,未来的降水量和气温均呈现增加趋势。在SSP5-8.5和SSP2-4.5情景下,年均温和降水量将分别增加2.45℃和124 mm。预计夏季降水量增加幅度较大,特别是在7—8月;而各季节的气温将上升,其中冬季气温上升幅度最大。在SSP2-4.5情景下,预计年径流量将增加3.5 mm;而在SSP1-2.6和SSP5-8.5情景下,预计年径流量将分别减少12.0 mm和11.0 mm。季节尺度上,在SSP1-2.6、SSP2-4.5和SSP5-8.5情景下,未来春季径流量将分别减少2.3 mm、1.2 mm和1.9 mm,夏季径流量将分别减少9.0 mm、7.1 mm和12.9 mm。研究结果可为该地区水资源综合管理和规划提供科学参考。

Food systems have the potential to promote human health and enhance environmental sustainability;yet most African countries have decadal starvation and malnourishment due to unstable food systems lacking basic nutritional profiles. To understand the key questions of the African food production and food security crisis, it is important to evaluate the past and the present balance of food production and consumption quantitatively and comprehensively and identify resource constraints. This continental study analyzed water-land-food (WLF) nexus in recent decades (1997-2017) and accessed whether these resources cope with different population growth projections, dietary changes and agricultural water management. The findings revealed that in 2017, total production in Africa for the four major crops was 83.3, 34.1, 21.0 and 26.7 million tons for, respectively, maize, rice, sorghum and wheat. Together with the imported food, 38 countries experienced an increase in kcal by food supply, while 7 countries encountered a decrease. However, only 6 countries were above the 1500 kcal∙capita−1∙day−1—the global average food consumption from the four major crops. The study also found that in the context of food production and out of the total African population, 268 million (21.6%) have enough land and water, 310 million (25.0%) is without enough land and water, further 279 million (22.5%) have enough water but not enough land, and 381 million (30.8%) encounter enough land but not enough water. This is the first WLF nexus study for the African continent and emphasizes the need for efficient and rapid changes in the food systems of the African population, both in production and consumption, in order to provide sustainable and secure food systems, and ultimately approach the first three Sustainable Development Goals.

制备了基于磺化聚芳醚砜(SPAES)及聚醚砜(PES)的填充型复合质子交换膜,研究了其吸水率、尺寸变化、热-机械特性、质子电导率、甲醇透过性及稳定性等性能.通过浸入沉淀相转化法,采用磺化度分别为30%(S30),40%(S40)及50%(S50)的SPAES与PES制备了系列微孔型复合质子交换膜Sx-y(x为SPAES的磺化度,y为SPAES的质量分数);然后利用真空抽滤法在微孔中填充S50制备了相应的填充型复合质子交换膜Sx-y+F50.结果表明,由于微孔的引入及皮层结构的存在,Sx-y膜在低离子交换容量(IEC)条件下仍具有较高的电导率、优良的机械强度、优异的化学稳定性及较低的甲醇透过性.经S50填充后,Sx-y+F50膜的IEC及电导率明显提升,甲醇透过率大幅下降,但机械强度及化学稳定性未见劣化.其中S30-40+F50膜(IEC=0. 69 mmol/g)的综合性能最佳,其质子电导率在90℃水中达到50. 4 m S/cm;经140℃水处理24 h后失重率仅为8. 2%,质子电导率降低仅9%;经过芬顿试剂(3%H2O2,20 mg/L Fe SO4,80℃,1 h)处理后失重率仅为0. 66%;甲醇透过率仅为6. 8×10-8cm2/s.

针对RGB彩色空间模型下统计直方图用于切分场景时,存在对内容变化不敏感、计算量大等问题,提出了一种基于HSV空间模型的视频场景切分方法。该方法将图像帧的RGB转换为相对应的HSV值,然后对H、S、V进行非等间隔量化,再合成为一维特征矢量。计算视频前后两帧图像的一维特征矢量直方图,求出它们的相似度,从而判断出是否发生了场景切换。实验证明,该方法能够比较准确地对视频进行场景切分,为视频摘要的关键帧提取提供了必要的条件。

Background: Sickle cell disease is one of the most common monogenic diseases in the world, affecting approximately 70 million people, 80% in sub-Saharan Africa and 1 in 10 in Senegal. Sickle cell anemia causes functional asplenia (associated with repeated thrombosis of splenic vessels), resulting in increased susceptibility to infection. However, several studies have reported differences in the spectrum of bacterial infections in malaria-endemic areas. Therefore, we proposed to conduct a study to determine the rate of positive blood cultures and the bacteriological spectrum in sickle cell patients. Materials and Method: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study of blood culture samples from patients who received a request for hemoglobin electrophoresis as part of their treatment at the Principal’s hospital in Dakar. The study took place from January 2008 to December 2021. For each patient, we collect demographic information, including age, gender, and the service from which the analysis request originated. Data were collected in the laboratory’s computer system and entered into Microsoft Excel (2007). Statistical analyzes were performed using Epi-Info 7 software. Results: Our study included 1419 patients. The most common types of hemoglobin profiles were: normal profile (n = 1025), AS profile (n = 283), SS profile (n = 104), SC profile (n = 7). This corresponds to the proportions of 72%, 20%, 0.5% and 7.5% for the profiles Normal, AS, SC and SS. The male proportion was 61.1%, 61.5%, 57.1, respectively %, 55.8% for Normal, SA, SC, and SS profiles. A total of 19,090 individual blood culture bottles were collected from 1419 impatient patients as follows: Normal profile (n = 18,042 bottles), AS profile (n = 677 culture bottles), SS profile (n = 362 bottles). The majority of blood culture orders come from pediatric services, accounting for 70% of the total number of orders.
