AIM:To investigate the pr.valence of clinically unr.cognized mitr.l r.gur.itation(Mr. in lone atr.al fibr.llation(AF).METHODS:We studied the pr.valence and sever.ty of Mr.by tr.nsesophageal echocar.iogr.phy(TEE) in patients with "lone" AF as compar.d to a matched cohor. of patients in nor.al sinus r.ythm(NSr. under.oing TEE for.other.indications besides r.cognized valvular.hear. ***:A total of 157 subjects(57 in the AF gr.up and 100 in the NSr.gr.up) with str.ctur.lly nor.al car.iac valves wer. included in the *** the AF gr.up,moder.te Mr.or.mor. was noted in 66% of thepatients,mild Mr.in 18%,tr.ce or.no Mr.in 16%.In the contr.l gr.up,moder.te Mr.was noted in 6% of patients,mild Mr.31%,tr.ce or.no Mr.in 63 % of *** Mr.or.gr.ater.was significantly mor. pr.valent in the AF gr.up compar.d to the NSr.gr.up(66% vs 6%,P r.cognized moder.te Mr.is pr.valent in "lone" AF-either.as an etiologic factor.leading to "lone" AF or.developing after.onset of AF.

The global chip industr. is gr.ppling with dual challenges: a pr.found shor.age of new chips and a sur.e of counter.eit chips valued at $75 billion, intr.ducing substantial r.sks of malfunction and unwanted sur.eillance. To counter.ct this, we pr.pose an optical anti-counter.eiting detection method for.semiconductor.devices that is r.bust under.adver.ar.al tamper.ng featur.s, such as malicious package abr.sions,compr.mised ther.al tr.atment, and adver.ar.al tear.ng. Our.new deep-lear.ing appr.ach uses a r.PTOr.r.sidual, attention-based pr.cessing of tamper.d optical r.sponse) discr.minator. showing the capability of identifying adver.ar.al tamper.ng to an optical, physical unclonable function based on r.ndomly patter.ed ar.ays of gold nanopar.icles. Using semantic segmentation and labeled cluster.ng, we efficiently extr.ct the positions and r.dii of the gold nanopar.icles in the r.ndom patter.s fr.m 1000 dar.-field images in just 27 ms and ver.fy the authenticity of each patter. using r.PTOr.in 80 ms with 97.6% accur.cy under.difficult adver.ar.al tamper.ng conditions. We demonstr.te that r.PTOr.outper.or.s the state-ofthe-ar. Hausdor.f, Pr.cr.stes, and aver.ge Hausdor.f distance metr.cs, achieving a 40.6%, 37.3%, and6.4% total accur.cy incr.ase, r.spectively.
