In this research, we determined the feasibility of using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) as a mobile field data collection system by monitoring mapping and regressing digitized sub-meter resolution polygons of multiple, malaria, mosquito, Anopheline arabiensis s.s., aquatic, larval, habitat covariates. The system employed QuickBird raster imagery displayed on a Trimble Recon X 400 MHz Intel PXA255 Xscale CPU®. The mobile mapping platform was employed to identify specific geographical locations of treated and untreated seasonal An. arabiensis s.s. aquatic larval habitats in Karima rice-village complex in the Mwea Rice Scheme, Kenya. As data pertaining to An. arabiensis s.s. larval habitats were entered, all treated and untreated rice paddies within a 2 km buffer of the agro-village, riceland-complex, epidemiological, study site were viewed and managed on the PDA.

The global trend towards raising broiler chickens without the use of in-feed antibiotics(IFAs) means that there is an ongoing need to develop alternative treatments capable of delivering the benefits that IFAs previously provided. IFAs supported the productivity performance of chickens and played a key role in maintaining their health. Necrotic enteritis(NE) is an important disease of broilers that affects health,productivity, and welfare, and was previously well controlled by IFAs. However, with the reduction in IFA use, NE is resurgent in some countries. Vaccines and various feed additives, including pre-, pro-, and postbiotics, phytobiotics, fatty acids, and phage therapies have been introduced as alternative methods of NE control. While some of these feed additives have specific activity against the NE pathogen, Clostridium perfringens, most have the more general goal of reinforcing gut health. Extensive reviews of the effects of many of these feed additives on gut health have been published recently. Hence, rather than cover previously well reviewed areas of research this review focuses on the challenges and pitfalls in undertaking experimental assessment of alternative NE treatments and translating laboratory research to real world commercial production settings. The review is based on the author's particular experience,reading, thoughts, and analysis of the available information and inevitably presents a particular understanding that is likely to be at odds with others thinking on these issues. It is put forward to stimulate thinking and discussion on the issues covered.

目前对于时间序列分析中出现的空间自相关现象，已经有很多的的文献详述了如何对这种现象进行识别与建模分析。但是，对于撒哈拉以南非洲地区疟疾的主要媒介-阿拉伯按蚊幼虫滋生地的地理空间相关性方面的研究还没研究报道。在空间回归分析中，空间相关性主要通过空间滤波方法完成，该滤波方法通过分析时间序列中随机误差的分布特征。运用基于地理连接矩阵的非参数特征向量分解空间滤波方法，以寻求能鉴别阿拉伯按蚊幼虫滋生水生环境的预测因子。首先，选择肯尼亚的两个城市，Kisumu和Malindi，进行了蚊虫滋生水体的现场采样工作。然后获取快鸟（QuickBird）卫星数据；并利用该数据对冈比亚按蚊的滋生水体进行遥感影像分析。把这些水体的地理空间信息数据输入SAS／GIS模型中，进行单因素分析、相关分析、数据分布分析、以及全局空间自相关统计。然后，利用空间协方差参数生成局部空间自相关指数（如：Moran’s指数）。并由该模型生成了选择性特征向量的粗子集，此粗子集可以被用来研究这些样方变量间的空间互作效应。最后，利用贝叶斯系数估计法定义矩阵中各参数的期望先验参数值，得知水体环境的深度是决定该水体能否滋生阿拉伯按蚊的关键预测性因素，并且深度与其滋生可能性呈明显的正相关关系；由转移空间连接矩阵生成的特征向量的特殊子集可以获知由阿拉伯按蚊水生环境预测因子以及所建立的空间回归模型中空间误差的相关性。

Extracellular vesicles(EVs)are membranous vesicular structures released from almost all eukaryotic cell types under different physiological or pathological *** evidence demonstrates that EVs can serve as mediators of intercellular communication between donor and recipient cells or microorganism-infected and noninfected *** disease 2019(COVID-19)disease is caused by infection of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)of host cells in the respiratory system and various extra-pulmonary tissue/organs,resulting in complications of multiple organ *** the cell surface receptor,angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)mediates cellular entry of SARS-CoV-2 into the host cells in patients with *** studies have found that ACE2 can be released with EVs,which have been shown to interfere with the entry of the virus into host cells and thus may be involved in COVID-19 *** addition,ACE2,neprilysin(NEP),and thimet oligopeptidase(TOP)are the key enzymes that regulate angiotensin metabolism by converting angiotensin II or angiotensin I to angiotensin 1-7,the latter of which has protective effects in counterbalancing the harmful effects of angiotensin II in COVID-19 *** review summarizes the recent research progress regarding EV-associated ACE2,NEP,and TOP and the perspectives of their potential involvement in the pathophysiology of COVID-19 disease.

本文选择了肯尼亚Mwea水稻种植区中Kangichiri、Kiuria和Rurumi3个村庄-农田交错地区为观察区,分析并比较了2种卫星数据对水稻种植区疟疾媒介分布的指示情况。首先运用2005年7月获取的Quickbird(分辨率0.6m)和Ikonos(分辨率4m)卫星数据在ErdasImagineV8.7中生成观察区的地面植被覆盖图;并于2005年的7月至2006的7月观察相应地区地面蚊虫消长情况。通过对观察区的卫星数据的最大似然法监测分类,并于分类后对每一田块与灌溉渠道都用Arc Info9.1进行栅格矢量化处理(每一栅格设置唯一的标识)。所有调查的蚊虫滋生点,依照水稻的生育期的不同分为6层进行分析。然后将经差分GPS定位的每一处水稻田及按蚊产卵点都叠加到该地区的卫星底层数据上,并对不同的水体、水稻生育期、调查地点的蚊虫滋生情况进行了方差分析。结果显示,由于Ikonos只有可见光和近红外光谱分辨能力,单一的Ikonos卫星数据难以区分不同样点和分层的生境,而QuickBird具有全光谱分辨能力,可区分所有的稻田生境。因此,可根据QuickBird0.6m卫星数据的土地利用和覆盖指数和阿拉伯按蚊滋生点幼虫的增殖特性,在当地建立和应用媒介综合防治系统(IVM-Integrated Vector Management)。

Sustainability,beauty,and power are notions that hit our contemporary perception every ***,they have been an integral part of architecture and urban planning in various forms since the *** paper presents their fundamental descriptions,followed by an assessment of their mutual relations and impact on architecture through a triangular architectural relation model developed by the authors of the *** the theoretical thought experiment,it highlights eight boundary models along with their main characteristics,in particular,the implosion,explosion,shared-control,utilitarian,no-control,supremacy,inside-forced,and outside-forced architectural related *** models can help predict future events,explain past events,make decisions,and plan strategies,or reveal problems and propose new *** applications include determination of the causes of certain results or finding out the responsibility and mechanisms that led to *** authors are of the opinion that the mutual denominator of sustainability,beauty,and power represents ethics that should be forced in architectural education and practice.
