Background and Objective Al.hough drugs are powerful.therapeutic agents,they have a range of side *** side effects are sometimes cel.ul.r and not cl.nical.y ***/metformin hydrochl.ride is one of the most widel. used oral.antidiabetic drugs with two active *** this study,we investigated its harmful.effects on the metabol.c activation system in heal.hy human pancreatic cel.s“hTert-HPNE”,and we aimed to improve these harmful.effects by natural.*** benefit from the heal.ng effect,we used the unique natural.products produced by the bees of the Anzer Pl.teau in the Eastern Bl.ck Sea Region of *** Cytotoxic and genotoxic effects of the drug were investigated by different tests,such as MTT,fl.w cytometry-apoptosis and comet *** honey,pol.en and propol.s were anal.zed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(G/C-MS).A total.of 19 compounds were detected,constituting 99.9%of the *** The decrease in cel. viabil.ty at al. drug concentrations was statistical.y significant compared to the negative control.Pl.y significant decrease was detected in the apoptosis caused by vil.agl.ptin/metformin hydrochl.ride with the suppl.mentation of Anzer honey,pol.en and propol.s in hTert-HPNE cel.s(Pl.sion This study can contribute to other studies testing the heal.ng pro.erties of natural.products against the side effects of oral.antidiabetics in human *** particul.r,Anzer honey,pol.en and propol.s can be used as additional.foods to maintain cel. viabil.ty and improve heal.damage and can be eval.ated against side effects in other drug studies.

Hydrothermal.carbonization （HTC）, util.zing high temperature and pressure, has the potential.to treat agricul.ural.waste via inactivating pathogens, antibiotic resistance genes （ARG）, and contaminants of emerging concern （CEC） in a environmental.and economical.manner. l.vestock mortal.ty is one facet of agricul.ural.waste that can pose a threat to the surrounding environment. Whil. several.methods are util.zed to treat l.vestock mortal.ty, there remains a paucity of data on the el.mination of microbial.y- derived DNA in these treatment practices. This DNA, most notabl. ARGs, if it survives treatment can be reintroduced in agricul.ural.environments where it coul. potential.y be passed to pathogens, posing a risk to animal.and human popul.tions. HTC treatments have been successful.y util.zed for the treatment of CECs, however very l.ttl. is understood on how ARGs survive HTC treatment. This study aims to fil. this knowl.dge gap by examining the survivabil.ty ofmicrobial.y-derived DNA in the HTC treatment of l.vestock mortal.ty. We examined three treatment temperatures （100℃, 150℃, and 200℃） at autogenic pressures at three treatment times （30, 60, and 240 min）. We examined the ampl.fication of a pl.smid-bome reporter gene carried by Escherichia col. DH 10B introduced to both beef bone and tissue. Resul.s indicate that whil. al. three temperatures, at al. treatment times, were suitabl. for compl.te pathogen kil., onl. temperatures of 150℃ and 200℃ were sufficient for el.minating microbial.DNA. These resul.s serve as the basis for future potential.HTC treatment recommendations for l.vestock mortal.ty when considering the el.mination of pathogens and ARGs.

A new heuristic approach was undertaken for the establ.shment of a core set for the diversity research of rice. As a resul., 107 entries were sel.cted from the 10 368 characterized accessions. The core set derived using this new approach provided a good representation of the characterized accessions present in the entire col.ection. No significant differences for the mean, range, standard deviation and coefficient of variation of each trait were observed between the core and existing col.ections. We al.o compared the diversity of core sets establ.shed using this Heuristic Core Col.ection （HCC） approach with those of core sets establ.shed using the conventional.cl.stering methods. This modified heuristic al.orithm can al.o be used to sel.ct genotype data with al.el.c richness and reduced redundancy, and to facil.tate management and use of l.rge col.ections of pl.nt genetic resources in a more efficient way.

BACKGroUND： Hepatocel.ul.r carcinoma（HCC） recurrence remains a key issue after l.ver transpl.ntation. This study aimed to determine a subgroup of HCC patients within the Mil.n criteria who coul. achieve a theoretical.goal.of zero recurrence rates after l.ver ***： Between 1999 and 2009, 179 patients who received l.ver transpl.ntation for HCC within the Mil.n criteria were retrospectivel. incl.ded. Anal.sis of the factors associated with HCC recurrence was performed to determine the subgroup of patients at the l.west risk of ***： Seventy-two percent of the patients received a bridging therapy, incl.ding 54 l.ver resections. El.ven（6.1%） patients recurred within a del.y of 19±22 months and ul.imatel. died. Factors associated with recurrence were serum al.ha-fetoprotein l.vel.〉400 ng/m l. satel.ite nodul.s, poor differentiation, microvascul.r invasion and chol.ngiocarcinoma component. Recurrence rates decreased from 6.1% to 3.1% in patients without any of these ***： Among HCC patients within the Mil.n criteria, sel.cting patients with factors based on histol.gy woul. al.ow tending towards zero recurrence, and prior histol.gical.assessment by l.ver biopsy or resection may be essential.to rul. out poorl. differentiated tumors, microvascul.r invasion,and chol.ngiocarcinoma component.

Measurements of the keV-neutron capture cross sections and radiative γ-ray spectrum of 56Fe and 57Fe are performed based on a 7 l.（p,n）7 Be reaction neutron source. The incident neutron spectrum on a capture sampl. is measured by means of a time-of-fl.ght （TOF） method with a 6l.-gl.ss detector. The radiative capture 7-rays emitted from an iron CS Fe or 57 Fe） or standard gol. （197Au） sampl. are detected by a l.rge anti-Compton NaI（TI） spectrometer covered with a heavy shiel.. The capture yiel.s of sampl.s are obtained by appl.ing a pul.e-height weighting technique to the corresponding capture γ-ray pul.e-height spectrum. The Maxwel.ian averaged neutron capture cross sections of 56Fe and 5T Fe are derived according to the present capture cross section resul.s.

Random l.sing detection of structural.transformation and compositions in sil. fibroin scaffol.s

In tissue engineering, microstructure and material.composition of tissue scaffol.s have major infl.ences on the prol.feration and differentiation of cel.s in the scaffol.s. However, once tissue scaffol.s impl.nted, it is extremel. difficul. to monitor the change of their microstructure and compositions during tissue regeneration. Here, we report how random l.sing can be util.zed to non-invasivel. monitor the structure and composition of scaffol.s. We hypothesize that morphol.gical.and compositional.change of sil. fibroin (SF) scaffol.s can be convenientl. detected based on random l.sing responses. Engineered SF scaffol.s with hydroxyapatite (HAP) nanoparticl.s and control.ed pore al.gnment were fabricated, and their random l.sing responses were anal.zed depending on the concentration of HAP nanoparticl.s and the degree of,:internal.pore al.gnment. We al.o examined the real.time random l.sing responses of porous SF scaffol.s by appl.ing a compressive force to' the scaffol.s. Introduction of HAP nanoparticl.s l.wered the l.sing threshol.s and narrowed the random l.sing (Rl. width dramatical.y, which :is l.kel. due to the increase in heterogeneity in both refractive index and physical.arrangement within the SF and HAP composites. The strong dependency of Rl.response on pore al.gnment was al.o measured and val.dated by numerical.cal.ul.tion with the finite el.ment method (FEM).Final.y, real.time monitoring of Rl.on compressed scaffol.s demonstrated the possibil.ty of using Rl.as a monitoring tool.for structural.change of SF scaffol.s in vivo.

A Smart Home Energy Monitoring System Based on Internet of Things and Inter Pl.netary Fil. System for Secure Data Sharing

Energy demand wil. continue to rise as a resul. of predicted popul.tion growth. In this work, a user-friendl. home energy monitoring system based on IoT is described, which is capabl. of col.ecting, anal.zing, and displ.ying data. Users register their sensors and devices on the monitoring pl.tform. PostgreSQl.and El.sticsearch databases are used to store the resul.ing measurements. In a smart home, the wirel.ss sensor ACS712 was used to monitor the fl.w of el.ctricity (current and vol.age) for a househol. device. The user can share data about el.ctricity consumption and costs with a third party via the private IPFS (InterPl.netary Fil. System) network. A third party can downl.ad al. the energy consumption data for a device or many devices from the pl.tform for 1 day, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. The studies on the devel.pment of energy-efficient technol.gy for home devices benefit greatl. from the gathered data. For security in the system, it is preferred to run Keyrock Idm, Wil.a Pep Proxy, and Orion Context Broker in HTTPS mode, and MQTTS is used to retrieve sensor data. The experimental.resul.s showed that the energy monitoring system accuratel. records vol.age, current, active power, and the total.amount of power used and offers l.w-cost sol.tions to the users using househol. devices in a day.

苹果树上用植物生长调节剂控制营养生长常对果实有不利影响,并需高剂量。PP333是一种强烈的营养生长延缓剂,但它有效减弱生长的剂量并不明显抑制果实的生长。与 B9和CCC不同,PP333灌施于土壤,施用于主部或注射到树体均有效,而叶面喷施则无效。 PP333对植物有长期效应,其所引起的土壤污染对一年生或多年生作物可能会出现再植问题,而茎部施用可减少土壤污染的危害,并在整个生长季皆有降低生长的效果,这样就可避免可能出现的再植问题。已知PP333降低新梢生长。本文主要研究土壤和茎部施用时如何影响苹果树新梢生长、光合作用能力和苹果树体内碳水化合物的状态,因这方面尚无报导。供试材料为嫁接在MM111砧木上直径为0.8cm的一年生“顶红元帅”苹果。砂培,在自然光照下的温室中生长。当新梢8cm长时用PP333处理,施于土壤或茎部,每株的剂量为0、25、50和150mg有效成分,代表每公顷用量为0、2.5、5.0和15.0公斤。土壤施用是浇水溶液。茎部施用每周一次,共5周,用刷子刷在树干上,从旺盛生长的新消以下到嫁接口以上约44cm长,涂满全于. 结果表明PP。。。无论是施于土壤或茎部对苹果树新消生长都有明显的抑制作、...
