母胎相互作用在后代的远期健康及跨代高血压的发生中发挥作用。然而,目前对于母体对后代肠道及肠道微生物环境的影响在后代高血压控制中的作用仍知之甚少。此研究旨在检验母体对后代肠-脑轴产生影响,继而影响后代高血压发生这一假设。本研究选用卡托普利进行实验,卡托普利是一种具有抗菌特性的血管紧张素转换酶抑制剂。在整个怀孕和哺乳期间,对怀孕的自发性高血压母鼠和正常血压的母鼠(WKY组)给予卡托普利水[100 mg/(kg·d)]或无菌水。

Introduction: Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are on the increase in several sectors of activity. The aim of the study was to determine the frequencies of cardiovascular risk factors (CVRF) and factors associated with hypertension among hotel workers in the city of Bohicon. Methods: This was a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study conducted in the period from December 2018 to January 2019. The variables studied were sociodemographic, occupational, anthropometric and behavioral. Participant recruitment was exhaustive. A standardized questionnaire inspired by the STEPS-WHO questionnaire was used for data collection. After the descriptive analysis, a bivariate analysis was performed using Pearson’s Chi-square test or Fisher’s test at the 5% threshold. Results: A total of 101 workers, 53 (52.47%) of them male, participated in the study. The mean age was 30.60 ± 8.20 years, with extremes of 18 and 55 years. The frequencies of the main risk factors were: 68.32% sitting position > 6 hours/day;38.61% shift work;21.78% high psychological demand, 82.18% low decision latitude, 24.75% low social support, 21.78% occupational stress;7 (6.93%) harmful alcohol consumption;6.93% tobacco consumption;48.51% insufficient physical activity;98.02% insufficient fruit and vegetable consumption;59.41% overweight;14.85% HTA. Factors associated with hypertension were: sex, age and marital status. Conclusion: Occupational factors need to be taken into account when assessing CVRFs. NCD control programs are needed in all sectors of activity. A larger study is needed in the hotel sector.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between inter canine width (ICW) and inter alar width (IAW), inter commissural width (ICoW), and inter canthal distance (ICaD) in Bantu population. Materials and Methods: It was a pilot study included all participants who were aged at least 18 years, without a history of orthodontics treatment from Prosthodontics Department, Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Kinshasa. The Ethics committee of the National Center of Research for Dental Sciences in DR Congo approved the study protocol (CNRSB 1504.218). The participants medical records were obtained from the interview and dental examination. Nature of the study was explained with participant information sheet, and an informed consent of all participants was obtained. The inclusion criteria were no missing maxillary and mandibular teeth, no diastema, and no anterior restorations, 18 years old before enrollment in the study. The exclusion criteria were inability to meet the above requirements, pregnancy, and refusal to participate in the study. The inter-canine width (ICW), inter alar width (IAW), inter canthal distance (ICaD) and inter-commissural width (ICoW) of each participant were measured with a digital Vernier caliper (Mitutoyo, UK Ltd.,) (0.01 mm) three times and the average value was recorded. The inter canthal distance (ICaD) was measured without applying pressure by bringing the recording parts of the caliper just in contact with the medial angle. The inter alar width (IAW) was marked with a fine marked pencil on the widest outer surface of the alae of the nose on either side or width. Those two points were measured without applying pressure by bringing the recording parts of the caliper just in contact with the outer surface. The participant was told to stop breathing shortly to avoid any change in shape of the nose. We develop an efficient and accurate spectral deferred correction(SDC)method for fractional differential equations(FDEs)by extending the algorithm in[14]for classical ordinary differential equations(ODEs).Specifically,we discretize the resulted Picard integral equation by the SDC method and accelerate the convergence of the SDC iteration by using the generalized minimal residual algorithm(GMRES).We first derive the correction matrix of the SDC method for FDEs and analyze the convergence region of the SDC *** then present several numerical examples for stiff and non-stiff FDEs including fractional linear and nonlinear ODEs as well as fractional phase field models,demonstrating that the accelerated SDC method is much more efficient than the original SDC method,especially for stiff ***,we resolve the issue of low accuracy arising from the singularity of the solutions by using a geometric mesh,leading to highly accurate solutions compared to uniform mesh solutions at almost the same computational ***,for long-time integration of FDEs,using the geometric mesh leads to great computational savings as the total number of degrees of freedom required is relatively small.
