Animals we.e.the. blocke. by the.r pre.ious plane.and we.e.move. onto a 105-d finishing phase.in a 2 × 2 factorial arrange.e.t. The.forage.finishe. group re.e.ve. only high-quality alfalfa hay, whe.e.s the.grain-fe. group re.e.ve. a high grain die.(80% whole.corn and20% alfalfa hay). By the.e.d of the.finishing phase. animals we.e.harve.te. and tissue.sample. from the.rume. and kidne. we.e.colle.te.. Change. in ge.e.e.pre.sion of aquaporins(AQP)-2,-3,-4,-7, ATP1A1,ATP1B1, SGK1, CLIC1(kidne. and rume.), UT-A1(kidne. only) and UT-B(rume. only), we.e.assaye. via re.l-time.q PCR; 18S r RNA was use. as an e.doge.ous control.
