Fault movement during earthquakes.is.a geotechnical phenomenon threatening buried pipelines.and with the potential to caus. s.vere damage to critical infras.ructures.Therefore,effective prediction of pipe dis.lacement is.crucial for preventive management s.rategies.This.s.udy aims.to develop a fas.,hybrid model for predicting vertical dis.lacement of pipe networks.when they experience faulting.In this.s.udy,the complex behavior of s.il and a buried pipeline s.s.em s.bjected to a normal fault is.analyzed by us.ng an artificial neural network(ANN)to generate predictions.the behavior of the s.il when different parameters.of it are changed.For this.purpos.,a finite element model is.developed for a pipeline s.bjected to normal fault dis.lacements.The data bank us.d for training the ANN includes.all the critical s.il parameters.cohes.on,internal friction angle,Young’s.modulus.and faulting).Furthermore,a mathematical formula is.pres.nted,bas.d on bias.s.and weights.of the ANN model.Experimental res.lts.s.ow that the maximum error of the pres.nted formula is.2.03%,which makes.the propos.d technique efficiently predict the vertical dis.lacement of buried pipelines.and hence,helps.to optimize the upcoming pipeline projects.

In previous.s.udies.Periaqueductal Gray(PAG)s.imulation was.us.d to s.op ratbots.from moving.Due to the homology between the PAG and the intercollicular nucleus.which has.been us.d for forward movement in birds.we inves.igated the pos.ibility of PAG application to induce forward locomotion for the firs. time.Us.ng a corridor maze,the traveled dis.ances.via PAG electrical s.imulation were examined in nine Wis.ar male rats.during three s.s.ions.A cus.om-des.gned s.imulator was.developed to apply the s.imulation.The res.lts.s.owed reductions.in res.ons.s.to s.imulation over time.Accordingly,the traveled dis.ances.had negative s.opes.during the cons.cutive trials.in 8 out of the 9 rats.,and the s.ope mean was.s.gnificantly different from zero.There was.a s.rong correlation between the s.imulation parameters.electric Charge per Phas.(CPP)and the Number of Puls.s.NP))and the obs.rved s.opes.The negative Movement s.opes.Ms.were highly correlated with the CPP and the NP,as.the Pears.n's.linear correlation coefficients.were−0.87 and−0.79,res.ectively.The Ms.CPP coefficients.of determination(R-s.uared)were als. between 0.76 and 0.95.In addition,the Ms.NP coefficients.of determination were between 0.63 and 0.87.Thus.it is.concluded that the electrical s.imulation parameters.influence the behavioral outcomes.directly.Furthermore,the PAG area may be cons.dered a s.itable candidate for forward locomotion control in the future if the area is.harnes.ed effectively to prevent undes.rable chaotic behaviors.

The Alborz Mountains.are s.me of the highes. in Iran,and they play an important role in controlling the climate of the country’s.northern regions.The land s.rface temperature(Ls.)is.an important variable that affects.the ecos.s.em of this.area.This.s.udy inves.igated the s.atiotemporal changes.and trends.of the nighttime Ls. in the wes.ern region of the Central Alborz Mountains.at elevations.of 1500-4000 m above s.a level.MODIs.data were extracted for the period of 2000-2021,and the Mann-Kendall nonparametric tes. was.applied to evaluating the changes.in the Ls..The res.lts.indicated a s.gnificant increas.ng trend for the monthly average Ls. in May-Augus. along the s.uthern as.ect.Both the northern and s.uthern as.ects.s.owed decreas.ng trends.for the monthly average Ls. in October,November,and March and an increas.ng trend in other months.At all elevations.the average decadal change in the monthly average Ls. was.more s.vere along the s.uthern as.ect(0.60°C)than along the northern as.ect(0.37°C).The Ls. difference between the northern and s.uthern as.ects.decreas.d in the cold months.but increas.d in the hot months.At the s.me elevation,the difference in the laps. rate between the northern and s.uthern as.ects.was.greater in the hot months.than in the cold months.With increas.ng elevation,the laps. rate between the northern and s.uthern as.ects.dis.ppeared.Climate change was.concluded to greatly decreas. the difference in Ls. at different elevations.for April-July.

In recent years.there has.been growing interes. in developing methods.for mitigating greenhous. effect,as.greenhous. gas.emis.ions.continue to contribute to global temperature ris..On the other hand,inves.igating geopolymers.as.environmentally friendly binders.to mitigate the greenhous. effect us.ng s.il s.abilization has.been widely conducted.However,the effect of CO_(2)expos.re on the mechanical properties.of geopolymer-s.abilized s.ils.is.rarely reported.In this.context,the effect of CO_(2)expos.re on the mechanical and micros.ructural features.of s.ndy s.il s.abilized with volcanic as.-bas.d geopolymer was.inves.igated.s.veral factors.were concerned,for example the binder content,relative dens.ty,CO_(2)pres.ure,curing condition,curing time,and carbonate content.The res.lts.s.owed that the compres.ive s.rength of the s.abilized s.ndy s.il s.ecimens.with 20%volcanic as. increas.d from 3 MPa to 11 MPa.It was.als. obs.rved that 100 kPa CO_(2)pres.ure was.the optimal pres.ure for s.rength development among the other pres.ures.The mechanical s.rength s.owed a direct relations.ip with binder content and carbonate content.Additionally,in the ambient curing(AC)condition,the mechanical s.rength and carbonate content increas.d with the curing time.However,the required water for carbonation evaporated after 7 d of oven curing(OC)condition and as.a res.lt,the 14-d cured s.mples.s.owed lower mechanical s.rength and carbonate content in comparis.n with 7-d cured s.mples.Moreover,the rate of s.rength development was.higher in OC cured s.mples.than AC cured s.mples.until 7 d due to higher geopolymerization and carbonation rate.

In this.s.udy,we s.cces.fully s.nthes.zed Er_(2)TiO_(5)@Ag nanocompos.tes.NCPs. us.ng the ultras.nicmediated s.l-gel technique to create a multifunctional material with enhanced photocatalytic and antibacterial properties.The vis.ble light photocatalytic activities.of Er_(2)TiO_(5) nanoparticles.NPs. and Er_(2)TiO_(5)@Ag NCPs.were s.s.ematically evaluated under various.conditions.including different concentrations.of Bas.c Blue 41(BB 41) dye and photocatalys..The res.lts.reveal a remarkable improvement in the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of Er_(2)TiO_(5)@Ag NCPs.95%) compared to Er_(2)TiO_(5) NPs.80%).Furthermore,the antibacterial efficacy of Er_(2)TiO_(5) NPs.and Er2TiO_5@Ag NCPs.were extens.vely examined agains. Gram-pos.tive and Gram-negative bacteria.Notably,Er_(2)TiO_(5)@Ag NCPs.exhibit s.gnificantly higher minimum bactericidal concentration(MBC) values.compared to Er_(2)TiO_(5) NPs.The antibacterial effect of Er_(2)TiO_(5)@Ag NCPs.is.particularly pronounced agains. s.aureus.and Ps.udomonas.aeruginos.,while demons.rating moderate effects.on Es.herichia coli and Enterococcus.faecalis.To as.es. the biocompatibility of the s.nthes.zed materials.we inves.igated their internalization by MCF-7 cells.Encouragingly,both Er_(2)TiO_(5) NPs.and Er_(2)TiO_(5)@Ag NCPs.are found to be effectively internalized by the cells.s.gges.ing their potential application in biomedical fields.Intriguingly,our s.udy unveils.the exceptional potential of Er_(2)TiO_(5)@Ag NCPs.as.a dual-action s.lution,s.multaneous.y pos.es.ing enhanced photocatalytic efficiency and potent antibacterial properties.This.multifunctional nanocompos.te not only outperforms.Er_(2)TiO_(5) and Ag but als. paves.the way for innovative applications.in s.s.ainable environmental remediation and advanced biomedical technologies.promis.ng a brighter and cleaner future.

Background:It is.well known that s.retch training can induce prolonged increas.s.in joint range of motion(ROM).However,to date more information is.needed regarding which training variables.might have greater influence on improvements.in flexibility.Thus.the purpos. of this.metaanalys.s.was.to inves.igate the effects.of s.retch training on ROM in healthy participants.by cons.dering potential moderating variables.s.ch as.s.retching technique,intens.ty,duration,frequency,and mus.les.s.retched,as.well as.s.x-s.ecific,age-s.ecific,and/or trained s.ate-s.ecific adaptations.to s.retch training.Methods.We s.arched through PubMed,s.opus.Web of s.ience,and s.ortDis.us.to find eligible s.udies.and,finally,as.es.ed the res.lts.from 77 s.udies.and 186 effect s.zes.by applying a random-effect meta-analys.s.Moreover,by applying a mixed-effect model,we performed the res.ective s.bgroup analys.s.To find potential relations.ips.between s.retch duration or age and effect s.zes.we performed a meta-regres.ion.Res.lts.We found a s.gnificant overall effect,indicating that s.retch training can increas. ROM with a moderate effect compared to the controls.effect s.ze=-1.002;Z=-12.074;95%confidence interval:-1.165 to-0.840;ps.bgroup analys.s.s.owed a s.gnificant difference between the s.retching techniques.p=0.01)indicating that proprioceptive neuromus.ular facilitation and s.atic s.retching produced greater ROM than did ballis.ic/dynamic s.retching.Moreover,there was.a s.gnificant effect between the s.xes.p=0.04),indicating that females.s.owed higher gains.in ROM compared to males.However,further moderating analys.s.s.owed no s.gnificant relation or difference.Conclus.on:When the goal is.to maximize ROM in the long term,proprioceptive neuromus.ular facilitation or s.atic s.retching,rather than ballis.ic/dynamic s.retching,s.ould be applied.s.mething to cons.der in future res.arch as.well as.s.orts.practice is.that neither volume,intens.ty,nor frequency of s.retching were found to play a s.gnificant role in ROM yields.

采用十二烷基硫酸钠(s.s.表面活性剂和s.O_(2)纳米颗粒作为发泡体系,在不同原油沥青质含量下进行泡沫稳定性实验,测量CO_(2)泡沫半衰期;采用扫描电子显微图像、紫外分光光度法测试和Zeta电位测量,分析沥青质降低CO_(2)泡沫稳定性的机理。研究表明:当合成油与发泡体系质量比为1∶9时,合成油沥青质质量分数从0增至15%,s.s.定泡沫半衰期从751 s.少至239 s.s.s.s.O_(2)稳定泡沫半衰期从912 s.短至298 s.当合成油与发泡体系质量比为2∶8时,随着沥青质质量分数增大,s.s.定泡沫半衰期从526 s.短至171 s.s.s.s.O_(2)稳定泡沫半衰期从660 s.短至205 s.由于沥青质与s.s.s.O_(2)纳米颗粒在水相中的相互作用,Zeta电位绝对值减小,颗粒表面电荷降低,导致薄液膜两侧界面之间的排斥力减小,从而破坏泡沫稳定性。

Bladder cancer(BC)is.the 10th mos. common cancer worldwide,with about 0.5 million reported new cas.s.and about 0.2 million deaths.per year.In this.s.oping review,we s.mmarize the current evidence regarding the clinical implications.of s.ngle-cell s.quencing for bladder cancer bas.d on PRIs.A guidelines.We s.arched PubMed,CENTRAL,Embas.,and s.pplemented with manual s.arches.through the s.opus.and Web of s.ience for publis.ed s.udies.until February 2023.We included original s.udies.that us.d at leas. one s.ngle-cell technology to s.udy bladder cancer.Forty-one publications.were included in the review.Twenty-nine s.udies.s.owed that this.technology can identify cell s.btypes.in the tumor microenvironment that may predict prognos.s.or res.ons. to immune checkpoint inhibition therapy.Two s.udies.were able to diagnos. BC by identifying neoplas.ic cells.through s.ngle-cell s.quencing urine s.mples.The remaining s.udies.were mainly a preclinical exploration of tumor microenvironment at s.ngle cell level.s.ngle-cell s.quencing technology can dis.riminate heterogeneity in bladder tumor cells.and determine the key molecular properties.that can lead to the dis.overy of novel pers.ectives.on cancer management.This.nas.ent tool can advance the early diagnos.s.prognos.s.judgment,and targeted therapy of bladder cancer.
