Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) is a preferred and widely used mass spectrometric technique for the analysis of macromolecules. Limited UV-LDI matrices are available for the analysis of biomolecules due to the restricted structural features to serve in the laser desorption/ionization mechanism with a problem of background signals appearing in the low mass region. This paper describes the application of Schiff base derivatives of acylhydrazide and isatin as alternate UV-LDI matrices for the analysis of peptides with significantly low background signals. Thirty one compounds have been successfully employed as matrices for the analysis of low molecular weight (LMW) peptides (α-Cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (HCCA), a preferred choice for peptide analysis.

本文研究用volterra级数辨识同步发电机。对于线性系统来说，卷积分能用于模拟输入-输出数据；而对于非线性系统来说，volterra级数能用于广义的卷积分。为了参数化这个volterra核函数，使用了正交函数：所提出的方法首先用在了考虑饱和影响的同步发电机的七阶非线性模型上，然后在微型电机系统进行了试验。文中，励磁电压被认为是输入，而有功和端电压被认为是同步发电机的输出。仿真结果和实验结果表明辨识模型有良好的精度。

A procedure that attempts to modify performance, via examiner assistance, in an effort to understand learning potential, is called DA (dynamic assessment). DA stresses the need for unifying assessment and instruction. So, the teaching of DA in classroom requires strategies and approaches which can account for the distinctive meaningful features of it. Moreover, in ESL (English as a second language) and EFL (English as a foreign language) learning situations, the instructors require taking into consideration that the students are non-native speakers of English. Thus, the study and teaching of DA may involve an approach to texts as linguistic resources as well as cultural artifacts. Theoretically, DA posits a qualitatively different way of thinking about assessment from how it is traditionally understood by classroom teachers and researchers. The ZPD (zone of proximal development) by Vygotsky"s research into the development of cognitive functions reveals that process is not a matter of innate abilities growing into a mature state but that it is the emergence of new ways of thinking, acting, and being that result from an individual"s engagement in activities where learners are supported by cultural artifacts and by interactions with others. In this way, the social environment is not merely the stage on which development plays out; it is, in fact, the driving force of development. Initially, the teaching of DA should be concerned with enabling students to experience it, and later to enable them to describe and eventually account for the experience by making critical comments. The definition of DA and the style of presentation and the teaching of it should be concerned with students to experience measurement, and later to enable them to describe and eventually account for the experience by making critical comments. Estimation of Some Plant Secondary Products in Urtica dioica L., Viola odorata L. and Melissa officinalis L. Naturally Grown in Hawraman-Kurdistan Region of Iraq

The plant aerial parts of three species, Urtica dioica L., Viola odorata L. and Melissa officinalis L. were collected at randomly-different locations, according to altitudes in May 2010. The aerial parts of Urtica were collected within three replications from different locations: Biare 1,090 masl (meters above sea level), Tawile 1,450 masl and Awiser 1,680 masl. The aerial parts of Viola and Melissa were collected randomly within three replications at different locations: Biare 1,090 masl, Degashikhan 1,250 masl and Tawile 1,450 masl. The extracts of the aerial parts of these species were purified by filtrations for several times in preparation for HPLC analyses. The chromatograms of Urtica indicated the presence of five major important alkaloid components (fragrine, benzylisoquinoline, scopoletin, glucoquinone and dotriacotaine) and ten major important phenolic compounds (formic acid, tannin, chlorogenic acid, caffeoylmalic acid, anthocyanine, quercetin, zeaxanthin, luetin epoxide, coumarine and vanillin). All the concentrations of alkaloid and phenolic compounds were increased significantly due to higher altitudes, except that of alkaloid dotriacotaine. The chromatograms of Viola indicated the presence of four major important alkaloid components (violine, isoquinoline, cycloviolacin and luteolin-3-glucoronide) and ten major important phenolic compounds (formic acid, tannin, chlorogenic acid, caffeoylmalic acid, anthocyanine, quercetin, zeaxanthin, luetin epoxide, coumarine and vanillin). The results of the influence of altitudes showed that the concentrations of all alkaloids and phenolic compounds were increased significantly due to higher altitudes, except that of the alkaloid luteolin-3-glucoronide and the phenolic compounds zeaxanthin and luetin epoxide. The chromatograms of Melissa indicated the presence of five major essential oils (pinene, linalool, citronellol, geraniol and rosmarinic acid). The spatial and temporal distribution patterns of the zooplankton of Chabahar Bay, Gulf of Oman were investigated. Zooplankton sampling was collected twice a season at five stations in Chabahar Bay. Sampling was done during July-August 2007 (SW-monsoon), October-November 2007 (post-monsoon), January-February 2008 (NE-monsoon), and March-May 2008 (pre-monsoon). Five stations were investigated throughout Chabahar Bay. Four species of Oncaeidae (Oncaea media, Oncaea minuta, Oncaea venusta and Oncaea clevei) were identified. The abundance of Oncaea media was maximum in the post-monsoon (> 700 ind.·m-3) and disappeared in pre-monsoon while Oncaea minuta was maximum in post-monsoon (> 130 ind.·m-3) and disappeared in NE-monsoon and pre-monsoon. Oncaea venusta showed the highest abundance in post-monsoon (> 370 ind.·m-3) and the lowest in pre-monsoon (< 55 ind.·m-3). The highest abundance of Oncaea clevei was in post-monsoon (< 240 ind.·m-3) and lowest in NE-monsoon. Overall, the highest abundance of Oncaeidae was observed in post-monsoon. The results showed that depth was the most important factor controlling abundance of the Oncaeidae. Spatially, the highest abundance of Oncaeidae species was found in off shore stations. Four species of this family showed positive correlation with depth. Also, O. venusta showed negative correlation with salinity that showed this species prefers low saline water.

In today’s world some changes have been occurred in human lifestyle,these changes,along with the advantages,have led to a series of disadvantages including their disconnection with the *** of the most important areas to re-establish the relationship is the *** presence of nature at schools,and holding some classes in nature,in addition to meeting the special needs of children causes their separation from those small and boring classes as well as their interest in *** study aimed to investigate the role of nature in children’s *** this purpose,third,fourth and fifth grade classes of 3 schools were held outside the school environment and in the nature in 5 *** study is a combinational research and field,indirect observation and library data collection methods were applied,where in the indirect observation,two types of questionnaires were prepared related to the students and teachers and were randomly distributed among 580 students and 50 elementary school *** reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha and it was obtained to be *** results of this study indicate that the physical place as one of the factors in children’s learning has the maximum impact on teaching and learning of *** the end of the study and by investigating the existing factors in the environment we understood that the expansion of the nature and natural light of it causes the students’interest in lessons in nature.

In this paper,a new method for automatic classification of texts is present*** system includes two phases;text processing and text categoriza*** the first phase,various indexing criteria such as bigram,trigram and quad-gram are presented to extract the ***,in the second phase,the W-SMO machine learning algorithm is used to train the *** order to evaluate and compare the results of the two criteria of accuracy and readability,Macro-F1 and Micro-F1 have been calculated for different indexing *** results of experiments performed on 7676 standard text documents of Reuters showed that the best performance is related to w-smo bigram criteria with accuracy of 95.17 micro and 79.86 ***,the results indicated that our proposed method has the best performance compared to the W-j48,Naïve Bayes,K-NN and Decision Tree algorithms.

Effects of Using Different Percentages of Fenugreek Flour to Improve the Sensory, Rheological Properties and Keeping Quality in Maize Dough to Produces Gluten-free Breads

Adding different percentages 1%, 3% and 5% of fenugreek flour depending on maize flour base to gluten free bread recipe for making tanoor bread was used to improve the tanoor bread quality, in term of sensory properties like volume, crust, color, symmetry, bake uniformity, texture, grain, aroma and taste. Also some rheological properties like gelatinization temperature and maximum viscosity of dough with bread keeping quality were used. The aim of this work is to produce suitable bread with maintaining the bread quality by selecting the suitable percentage to produce gluten free bread for people who suffering from celiac diseases and its contribution to health benefits. Significant differences were observed by using 5% of fenugreek flour in term of gelatinization temperature, maximum viscosity, breed keeping quality and volume. While using 1% of fenugreek flour significantly improved symmetry value, bread texture, crumb color, aroma and taste.

欧盟碳金融市场作为全球最大、最成熟的碳排放市场,碳金融市场期货价格波动已经显现出一定规律。我国碳金融期货市场还处于筹划阶段,探究欧盟碳期货动态变化规律,对其价格进行预测,不仅可以丰富碳金融市场的相关理论,而且为我国碳期货市场的发展、防止碳价格过度波动、稳定碳价格提供借鉴。ARIMA模型已广泛应用于金融领域,能较好把握时间序列动态规律,运用ARIMA模型,选择2013年1月至2018年7月EUA期货结算价作为分析数据,对欧盟碳期货交易价格作为期3个月的预测。预测结果显示,在未来3个月碳期货价格依然会有较大幅度的波动。总结欧盟碳期货历史价格剧烈波动的原因,提出我国建设碳期货市场应从设置碳价波动区间、允许碳配额跨期存储、加大财政补贴力度3方面着手完善碳期货市场价格稳定机制。

Microbial Quality of Irrigation Water of Public Parks in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

In this study, the microbial quality of treated wastewater used for irrigation of three public parks in Dubai was evaluated. A total of 23 samples of TWW (treated wastewater) and 12 samples of irrigated soils from three public parks were collected and tested for Legionella, Salmonella, traditional bacterial indicators, Cryptosporidium oocyst and Giardia cysts using membrane filtration and direct immune-fluorescence assay. The majority of the tested water samples were found contaminated with LLO (Legionella like organisms), Salmonella and traditional bacterial indicators. Both Cryptosporidium oocysts and Giardia cysts were detected in these samples with a higher occurrence of Cryptosporidium oocysts (96%) than Giardia cysts (35%). The fecal coliform bacteria were detected in 60.8% of water samples and 58% of soil samples. Total coliform bacteria were detected in most of the water and soil samples with a higher occurrence than the fecal coliform bacteria. The results of this study indicate that microorganisms are surviving the chlorination method used for disinfecting wastewater, and are further multiplying in the public parks irrigation network system. Therefore, monitoring the treated wastewater for bacterial pathogens, protozoan parasites and controlling their growth at the point of end use are vital to reducing the risk of environmental contamination with microbial pathogens.
