Robotic surgery is one of the most recent technologies in healthcare building *** to the design complexity of Robotic surgery wards,computational implementations are being developed to either measure the effect of inserting advanced technologies as Electronic medical recorders and tele surgery,or evaluate design alternatives on healthcare *** paper presents a design framework that responds to the need for coordinating design phases for Robotic Surgery Wards(RSWs)*** proposed design framework for RSWs can generate functional RSW alternatives and more than one solution for each *** framework has been structured based on the main architectural considerations of RSWs which are geom etric and topological,the economic considerations,specific developed pools for shape and corridor patterns,and the theory of,fShape Grammars"has been utilized to compute the framework to generate a vast number of design ***,a computational implementation has been established to assist designers in early design *** validation for the applications of the developed framework and implementation has been conducted by using reference examples of *** main finding in this paper is providing healthcare building designers with a computational implementation that generates RSW alternative computationally based on specific shape and cost levels.

In may 2022,the world witnessed the re-emergence of the zoonotic disease *** this was not the first epidemic of this disease,what differentiated the outbreak was the rapid global spread and increase of cases,which led the WHO to declare monkeypox a global health *** the disease spreads mainly through inadequately cooked meat of various rodent species,this virus also shows droplet,respiratory,sexual,and even vertical *** further multiplies in lymphoproliferative organs and presents with a classical smallpox-like rash,fever,headache,and muscle *** is confirmed with a polymerase-chain-reaction test and is managed largely supportively with possible usage of some antivirals and ***,some pre-exposure and postexposure prophylactic vaccines have been *** paper aims to conduct an in-depth review of the historical epidemics,transmission,pathophysiology,clinical presentation,and management of the monkeypox disease.

Objective: To explore the potential of essential oil, as therapeutic molecule source, from olibanum of Boswellia papyrifera(Burseraceae), leafy stems of Cymbopogon schoenanthus(Poaceae) and Croton zambesicus(Euphorbiaceae) and rhizome of Cyperus rotundus(Cyperaceae) found in Sudan. Respective essential oil was evaluated for antiproliferative, antibacterial and antioxidant activity. methods: Essential oils were extracted by hydrodistillation and then analysed by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry(GCmS). Anti-proliferative activity was determined against human cell lines(mCF7 and mDAmB231, HT29 and HCT116) by the thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide(mTT) procedure. Antioxidant activity was evaluated by diphenyl 2 pycril hydrazil(DPPH) assay. Antibacterial activity was determined against two Gram-positive and two Gram-negative bacteria by microdilution method. Results: The essential oil from olibanum of Boswellia papyriferacontained mainly alcohol and ester derivatives(46.82%) while monoterpenes(69.84%) dominated in Corton zambesicus oil. Sesquiterpenes were the most highly represented classes of terpene derivatives in Cyperus schoenanthus(71.59%) and Cyperus rotundus(44.26%). Oil of Cymbopogon schoenanthus revealed the best anti-proliferative activity against HCT116 cell line with IC50 value at(19.1 ± 2.0) μg/m L. Oil of Croton zambesicus showed the best antioxidant activity [EC50(4.20 ± 0.19) mg/m L]. All oils showed good antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus with minimum inhibitory concentration(mIC) value ranged from 16 to 250 μg/m L. Conclusions: The results suggest that the essential oils of these plants could be used as a source of natural anti-proliferative, antioxidant and antibacterial agents.

The performance of UASB (Up-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) reactor was investigated in the present study for treatment of flax retting wastewater. Batch and continuous experiments on a pilot scale were designed. The initial seed for granules (bacteria acclimation) formed earlier was from municipal sewage treatment plant with VSS of 18 - 20 g/L. Batch experiments proved that the sludge retention time (SRT) was 77 days. Under steady state conditions, continuous experiments were conducted at organic loading rates (OLRs) in the range of 1.2 to8.6 kgCODs m–3·d–1, where the hy- draulic retention time (HRT) decreased from 72 to 12 hrs. The results proved that the UASB technology provides good COD removal efficiency from 64.5% to 90.5% as COD loading rate decreased and good biogas production at proper food: micro-organism (F:m) ratios.

A developed method was designed for gold determination directly in organic medium in some sedimentary rocks (fine sandstone, carbonates), pyrite, serpentine and international standard gold sample (mA-1a) using flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS). Instrumental parameters;burner angle, fuel flow rate, band pass and burner height together with chemical parameters;different media, leaching and interference effect were optimized to improve gold determination. Selective leaching using a new mixture (5% KCN, 5% Na2S2O3 and hydrogen peroxide) offered maximum leaching percentage of gold (>99%) with minimal concentration of accompanying elements. Extraction parameters using methyl isobutyl ketone (mIBK) from 3 m HCl were optimized for more than 99% gold extraction, followed by scrubbing using 0.1 m HCl. Gold was determined directly in organic phase. Beer’s law was obeyed from 0.01 μg/ml to 10 μg/ml. Standard deviation (from 0.017 to 1.05) and percentage error (from 1.5% to 2.5%) using the present developed AAS method were calculated.

The present work aims to study the drought stress effects on polyamine content and its relationship with growth and development in seeds, during cell division (from the beginning and until 17 days after pollination) and grain filling (until reaching the physiological maturity) stages. Factorial experiment based on Randomized Complete Block (RCB) design was carried out with three replications. Two factors of the experiment were considered: the level of irrigation (irrigation without and with drought stress during cell division stage and with drought stress during grain filling stage) and the level of wheat genotype (drought-resistant, semi-resistant and sensitive genotypes). As control treatment, soil moisture content of the field was considered. For drought-stress treatment, the 50% of the soil moisture content in control treatment was established. According to the experimental results, Putrescine content value is higher in control treatment which develops seeds of drought-resistant genotypes than that are registered for semi-resistant and sensitive genotypes. Both drought stress treatments induced significant rises in putrescine amount in the different genotypes of the study. The rises of putrescine content in sensitive and semi-resistant genotypes, however, were higher than in resistant ones, and the highest rise in putrescine content appeared in manning semi-resistant genotype during the stage of grain filling (27 days after pollination). Exerting drought stress in both stages of cell division and grain filling led to significant increase in spermine and spermidine contents of developing seeds of entire genotypes of the study. The highest spermidine content during grain filling stage occurred in sensitive genotypes of Shark and Tevee’s, and the lowest occurred in semi-resistant genotype of Sabalan. Objective: This study aimed to explore the relation between bone mineral density (BmD), inflammation, coronary risk factors, and Insulin growth factor (IGF) in frail elderly. Design: A casecontrol study. Setting: Ain Shams University Hospital Cairo, Egypt. Participants: Ninety aged 60 years and above;sixty frail (30 males and 30 females;mean age 70.03 ± 8.10) and thirty matched controls (15 males and 15 females;mean age 69.07 ± 5.93). measurements: History, examination, comprehensive geriatric assessment, measurement of BmD, and laboratory investigations including;high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) glycated haemoglobin, IGF, lowdensity lipoprotein (LDL), high-density lipoprotein, total cholesterol, and triglycerides. Results: The frail group had significantly lower levels of triglycerides and LDL, hs-CRP and glycated haemoglobin levels were significantly higher (P mD and IGF levels were significantly lower when compared with the control group (P mD had a significant positive linear correlation with IGF and negative correlation with age. Conclusion: Frailty was associated with low BmD, lower triglycerides & LDL levels, and higher hsCRP levels. A borderline significance was found between IGF levels and frailty. A positive correlation was found between BmD and IGF in frail.
