Long-term bioelectric potential recording requires highly reliable wearable dry ***-induced graphene(LIG)dry electrodes on polyimide(PI)films are difficult to conform to the skin due to the non-stretchability and low flexibility of PI *** a result,high interface impedance and motion artifacts can occur during body *** LIG to flexible substrates such as polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)and Ecoflex allows for stretchability and ***,the transfer process produces a significant loss of conductivity destroying the structural function and electron conduction properties of the *** found robust physical and chemical bonding effects between LIG and styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene(SEBS)thermoplastic elastomer substrates and proposed a simple and robust low-conductivity loss transfer *** embedded LIG onto SEBS to obtain high stretchability,high flexibility,low conductivity *** deposition(EPD)of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrenesulfonic acid(PEDOT:PSS)on LIG forms an ultrathin polymer conductive *** deposition thickness of the conductive polymer is adjusted by controlling the EPD deposition time to achieve optimal conductivity and chemical ***/LIG/PEDOT:PSS(SLPP)dry electrodes have high conductivity(114Ω/Sq),stretchability(300%)and reliability(30%stretch,15,000 cycles),low electrode-skin impedance(14.39 kΩ,10 Hz).The detected biopotential signal has a high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of 35.78 ***,the feasibility of SLPP dry electrodes for long-term biopotential monitoring and biopotential-based human-machine interface control of household appliances was verified.

The sand intervals of the Early Cretaceous Lower Goru Formation are a conventional reservoir,generally distributed in the Middle and Lower Indus Basin of *** formation is classified into two parts;the upper parts are predominantly composed of shale,siltstone,and thin layers of alternate shale and sandstone,while the lower parts are composed of sandstone with interlayering of shale and *** sandstone of the Lower Goru Formation has been further divided into A,B,C,and D sand intervals based on reservoir *** depositional facies and reservoir characteristics are essential for the evaluation of hydrocarbon exploration and *** paper aims to evaluate the depositional environment and reservoir characterization of the siliciclastic reservoir of the Early Cretaceous Lower Goru Formation by integrating the gamma-ray log patterns and petrographic analysis and scanning electron microscopic(SEM)*** characterization of the sand intervals and Gamma-ray log signatures were used for the interpretation of the depositional environment of the reservoir *** analysis reveals that the sandstone of the Lower Goru Formation is fine-to medium-grained,well-sorted,arkose or feldspathic *** intergranular macroporosity,secondary intragranular macropores,and Intercrystalline micropores were identified within the sandstone by the SEM *** diagenetic analysis suggests that the sandstone possesses high porosity,low permeability,and has undergone significant alterations such as compaction,quartz cementation,feldspar dissolution,and clay minerals *** electrofacies are interpreted based on gamma-ray log patterns including(1)funnel shape(FA);(2)bell shape(FB);(3)cylindrical shape(FC);(4)bow shape(FD);and(5)serrated shape(FE)*** interpreted facies results reveal shoreface environment for A-sand,Tidal flat for B-sand,mixed tidal flat for C sand,Tide dominated mixed fo

本文在无通量和粗糙边界的情况下演示了化学反应对微极性纳米流体中热对流初始状态的影响。本研究应用Saffman界面条件求解粗糙边界。考虑在许多工业应用中具有重要作用的微极性非牛顿纳米流体。对于线性稳定性,利用正态模态技术(NMT)将控制系统的偏微分方程(PDE)转化为特征值问题(EVP),并采用基于有限差分的三阶段LobattoⅢa方法进行数值求解。发现对流的主要模式是静止模式。增加纳米流体中热流通量与自旋霍尔效应的耦合系数(δ)、自旋霍尔效应与涡度的耦合系数(K)、粗糙度参数(λ_(1),λ_(2))、化学反应参数(Cr)、修正扩散比(NA)和微极性参数(A)的取值,可以降低对流,从而稳定系统。然后,在81个数据点的基础上,利用嵌入多人感知的人工神经网络(ANN)确定四个控制参数与Rayleigh临界数之间的关系。

Stature estimation from footprint measurements in Bangladeshi adults

The estimation of stature is very important in forensic investigation,as it provides useful data that can narrow the pool of potentially matching *** purpose of this study was to develop formulae for the estimation of stature from footprint measurements in Bangladeshi *** study included 118 randomly selected men and 130 randomly selected women,all aged 18–50 *** each participant,stature and six footprint measurements were taken by means of standard measurement *** measurements were found to be positively correlated with *** was estimated by using linear regression *** right T1 length in men(R:þ0.587,R^(2):0.345)and the right T2 length in women(R:þ0.506,R^(2):0.256)were the most reliable individual estimators of ***,when data were combined for both sexes,the right T2 length was identified as the most reliable estimator of stature,with higher values of R(þ0.792)and R^(2)(0.627).In conclusion,human stature can be successfully estimated by using footprint measurements;this finding can be applied in forensic research and investigation.

Spatiotemporally controlled growth factor(GF)delivery is crucial for achieving functional vasculature within engineered ***,conventional GF delivery systems show inability to recapitulate the dynamic and heterogeneous nature of developing tissue’s biochemical ***,an aptamer-based programmable GF delivery platform is described that harnesses dynamic affinity interactions for facilitating spatiotemporal control over vascular endothelial GF(VEGF165)bioavailability within gelatin methacryloyl *** platform showcases localized VEGF165 sequestration from the culture medium(offering spatial-control)and leverages aptamer-complementary sequence(CS)hybridization for triggering VEGF165 release(offering temporal-control),without non-specific ***,extensive 3D co-culture studies(human umbilical vein-derived endothelial cells&mesenchymal stromal cells),in bi-phasic hydrogel systems revealed its fundamentally novel capability to selectively guide cell responses and manipulate lumen-like microvascular networks via spatiotemporally controlling VEGF165 bioavailability within 3D *** platform utilizes CS as an external biochemical trigger for guiding vascular morphogenesis which is suitable for creating dynamically controlled engineered tissues.

Synergistic impacts of rifampicin and doxorubicin against thioacetamide-induced hepatocellular carcinoma in rats

Background and aims:Combination therapy is a promising new strategy that has been proposed to increase the efficacy of cancer *** aimed to investigate the anti-cancer activity of rifampicin monotherapy and its combination with doxorubicin against hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Materials and methods:The in vitro half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50)and selectivity index(SI)of the drugs under investigation against HepG2 and human lung fibroblast(WI38)cell lines were *** the in vivo experiment,male Sprague-Dawley albino rats were injected with thioacetamide at 200 mg/kg twice a week for 90 days;HCC development was confirmed *** HCC induction,the rats were treated with intraperitoneal doxorubicin,rifampicin,or their combination for 45 or 90 *** sacrifice,the livers were examined *** levels of aminotransferases,albumin,bilirubin,malondialdehyde,superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),total antioxidant capacity(TAC),and nitric oxide were measured by ***,cancer antigen 19-9,tumor necrosis factor-alpha,interleukin-6,Bcl-2-associated X protein,caspase 3,caspase 8,and p53 were estimated using ***:In vitro,the combination of doxorubicin and rifampicin showed the highest SI of *** vivo,among the measured markers,the levels of TAC,CAT,SOD,and p53 decreased(P<0.001)and the rest of the measured marker levels increased(P<0.001)in the HCC-bearing rats;after treatment in all groups,all these changes improved toward normal in a time-dependent *** combination of doxorubicin and rifampicin optimized the effects of the two individual drugs and exerted the best antioxidant ***:In general,compared with rifampicin or doxorubicin alone,combination therapy has favorable *** on our results,the combination of rifampicin and doxorubicin might be applicable for HCC chemotherapy.

Chemosensory proteins(CSPs)are important molecular components of the insect olfactory system,which are involved in capturing,binding,and transporting hydrophobic odour molecules across the sensillum in sensillar lymph in regulating insect *** protein family(CSPs)is also involved in many other systems that are not linked to olfactory receptors in olfactory *** brown planthopper(BPH)is a monophagous pest of rice that causes damage by sucking phloem sap and transmitting a number of diseases caused by *** this study,fluorescence competitive binding assay and fluorescence quenching assay at acidic p H were performed as well as homology modelling to describe the binding affinity of Nlug *** competitive binding assay(FCBA)demonstrated that Nlug CSP10 bound strongly to nonadecane,farnesene,and 2-tridecanone at acidic p *** results of FCBA indicated that Nlug CSP10 bound different ligands at the physiological p H(5.0)of the bulk sensillum *** quenching assay demonstrated that Nlug CSP10 generated a stable complex with 2-tridecanone,while two ligands nonadecane and farnesene collided due to molecular *** interaction of selected ligands with the modelled structure of Nlug CSP10 was also analyzed,which found the key amino acids(Gln23,Gln24,Gln25,Asn27,Met33,Ser34,Ile35,Tyr36,Asn42,Met43,Val45,Asn46,Asn93,Arg96,Ala97,Lys99,and Ala100)in Nlug CSP10 that were involved in binding of volatile *** present study contributes to the binding profile of Nlug CSP10 that promotes the development of behaviorally active ligands based on BPH olfactory system.
