This work demonstrates in practical terms the evolutionary concepts and computational applications of Parametric *** cases were drawn from higher order parametric Bezier curves of degrees 2 and *** curves find real life applications in diverse areas of Engineering and Computer Science,such as computer graphics,robotics,animations,virtual reality,among *** of the evolutionary issues explored in this work are in the areas of parametric equations derivations,proof of related theorems,first and second order calculus related computations,among others.A Practical case is demonstrated using a graphical design,physical hand sketching,and programmatic implementation of two opposite-faced handless cups,all evolved using quadratic Bezier *** actual drawing was realized using web graphics canvas programming based on HTML 5 and *** work will no doubt find relevance in computational researches in the areas of graphics,web programming,automated theorem proofs,robotic motions,among others.

A 3-D FEA （finite element analysis） transient and steady-state design proposal for high-speed with Nd-Fe-Br （reversible） magnets in aerospace application will be examined under design considerations of n = 12,000 rpm, short-duty, sinusoidal drive, low cogging, high efficiency at peak torque, and etc. for an ARWM （aerospace retraction wheel motor）. In construction, the PMs （permanent magnets） fixed on the rotor core which is surface-mOunted magnets retained by a carbon-fiber bandage. Redundant windings, resistant to fault propagation have accounted. Besides, an axial water-jacket housing without end-cap cooling has involved. All performed characteristic performances of the correlated ARWM will verify by comparison through 2-D and 3-D FEA results. In this paper, design process has dealing with determination of various kinds of losses such as electromagnetic and mechanical losses. In terms of both classified losses, copper, stator back iron, stator tooth, PM, rotor back iron, air-friction and sleeve losses were calculated. The 3-D end-winding effects were included in the modeled ARWM by the authors.

The study aims to determine a mathematical formula that correlates the vertical stiffness of the principal elements of a high speed railway. To do this, beginning on the traditional formulations, a new mathematical model has been proposed, and has been verified and confirmed with the real information of high speed railways. Finally, there has been obtained a simple expression that correlates simply the vertical stiffness of the railway with the vertical stiffness of the elements that compound it, essentially with the base plate and the ballast system set. On the other hand, also the accuracy of the model has been verified to select the stiffness of the base plate and the ballast system depending on one of this stiffness and the total vertical stiffness that it is wanted. With this simplified formula, it is possible to optimize the vertical stiffness of the railway to obtain the best behavior in each zone and to reduce the final cost of the use of the via, taking in consideration the energy needed to move the trains, the maintenance cost, the useful life, etc.. The process to optimize the railway stiffness in each point depends on the vertical stiffness of the ballast and the sub-ballast, and it is possible to use different plate bases with different stiffness to obtain the optimal stiffness that has been previously obtained with a cost and maintenance analysis.

Payment for ecosystem services(PES) is of great importance for the sustainable development of mountain areas, key hotspot regions for the provisioning of ecosystem services. At present, PES researches mainly focus on forest protection, carbon sink trading, and water protection. As an important industry in mountainous areas, cascade hydropower development has generated substantial economic benefits accompanied by social and ecological impacts. However, efficient PES mechanisms to deal with hydropower generation in mountain areas are still unavailable. Therefore, the lacking of PES in mountain systems limits the development of those areas, and compromise the sustainability of hydropower development. The critical reason lies in the lack of a scientific method that can quantitatively analyze the relationship of hydropower stations with a geographical scope at county level(i.e., quantifying the water yield service provided by each county within the cascade hydropower development basin), and with different hydropower enterprises. We use the Yarlung Zangbo River Basin of China as case study area, one of the major hydropower development basins in China. First, we used Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST) model to map water yield service. Then, we calculated the value of water yield service by relating the water yield to the gross output value of hydropower stations. We revealed the relationship(e.g., hydropower stations and identified counties) between the payers and the payees of ecosystem services through mapping and quantifying the provisioning regions in the supply of water yield service and the users(hydropower enterprises). Finally, we discussed the current situation of benefit distribution in cascade hydropower development basin based on the supply and use of the water yield service. Protein energy malnutrition is the main cause of immunodeficiency and, secondarily, of several infections. However, immune cell activation is involved in several pathophysiological processes that play a crucial role in the appearance of cardiovascular disease(CVD) or cancer. The aim of this review is to update the knowledge of the modulation of immune cell activation by different dietary patterns and its components focusing on CVD or cancer. While a westernized high-saturated fat highcarbohydrate diet is positively associated with lowgrade inflammation, vegetable- and fruit-based diets rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids and polyphenols, key nutrients of Mediterranean diet, decrease the levels of cellular and circulating inflammatory biomarkers thereby reducing the risk of related chronic diseases.

The nature and origin of a fundamental quantum QSPR （QQSPR） equation are discussed. In principle, as any molecular structure can be associated to quantum mechanical density functions （DF）, a molecular set can be reconstructed as a quantum multimolecular polyhedron （QMP）, whose vertices are formed by each molecular DF. According to QQSPR theory, complicated kinds of molecular properties, like biological activity or toxicity, of molecular sets can be calculated via the quantum expectation value of an approximate Hermitian operator, which can be evaluated with the geometrical information contained in the attached QMP via quantum similarity matrices. Practical ways of solving the QQSPR problem from the point of view of QMP geometrical structure are provided. Such a development results into a powerful algorithm, which can be implemented within molecular design as an alternative to the current classical QSPR procedures.
