Probiotics exert beneficial effects on the *** study aimed to investigate w.ether maternally ingested Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus Probio-M9 during pregnancy could access and colonize the infant *** study recruited one pregnant w.man,w.o ingested Probio-M9 daily from 35 w.eks of gestation to *** of the mother-infant pair w.re regularly collected from one month before delivery to 6 months of infant's age for metagenomic ***-M9 genomes w.re mappable to all infant fecal samples,suggesting the ingested probiotics could be vertically transmitted from mother to ***-or mother-specific differential metabolic pathw.ys w.re found betw.en the maternal and infant's gut microbiome,implicating apparent differences in the intestinal metagenomic potential/function betw.en the mother and the *** conclusion,maternal ingestion of Probio-M9 during the final w.eks of gestation could deliver to the infant *** findings provided novel insights into shaping infant's gut microbiota.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries（AZIBs） have emerged as a promising high-efficiency energy storage system due to the high energy density,low.cost and environmental ***,the practical application of AZIBs is severely restricted by the challenges faced by the Zn anode,w.ich include uncontrollable dendrite grow.h,corrosion and hydrogen evolution ***,a simple and convenient physical vapor deposition（PVD）method is reported for fabricating uniform graphite as a protection layer on the surface of Zn *** high conductivity graphite layer on Zn anode（denoted as Zn@C） not only benefits the uniform distribution of the electric field,but also provides numerous Zn nucleation sites to regulate and navigate Zn-ion stripping/plating ***,the graphite layer w.th a poor catalytic activity endow. the Zn@C anode w.th a highly suppressed hydrogen ***,a hydrogen and dendrite free anode is achieved w.th artificial anticatalytic carbon layer on Zn anode,exhibiting a high reversibility and excellent cycling stability over 2600 h at the current density of 5 mA·cm-2w.th a capacity of 2.5 mAh·cm-2and longtime cycling stability for assembled full *** w.rk strategically designs the properties of the artificial interface layer to effectively address various challenges simultaneously,w.ich presents insights for the future development of high-performance rechargeable AZIBs.

The exploitation of high performance redox-active substances is critically important for the development of non-aqueous redoxﬂow.***,three tetrathiofulvalene(TTF)derivatives w.th different substitution groups,namely TTF diethyl ester(TTFDE),TTF tetramethyl ester(TTFTM),and TTF tetraethyl ester(TTFTE),are prepared and their energy storage properties are *** has been found that the redox potential and solubility of these TTF derivatives in conventional carbonate electrolytes increases w.th the number of ester *** battery w.th a catholyte of 0.2 mol L^(-1) of TTFTE delivers a speciﬁc capacity of more than 10 Ah L^(-1) at the current density of 0.5 C w.th tw. discharge voltage platforms locating at as high as 3.85 and 3.60 V ***/Liþ.Its capacity retention can be improved from 2.34 Ah L^(-1) to 3.60 Ah L^(-1) after 100 cycles by the use of an anion exchange membrane to block the crossover of TTF *** excellent cycling stability of the TIF esters is supported by their w.ll-delocalized electrons,as revealed by the density function theory ***,the introduction of more and larger electron-w.thdraw.ng groups is a promising strategy to simultaneously increase the redox-potential and solubility of redox-active ma-terials for non-aqueous redoxﬂow.batteries.

From the standpoint of chemical structures,the organic backbones of energetic materials can be classified into aromatic rings,nonaromatic rings,and open *** the category of aromatic energetic compounds exhibits several advantages in the regulation of energetic properties,the nonaromatic heterocycles,assembling nitramino explosophores w.th simple alkyl bridges,still have prevailed in benchmark *** methylene bridge plays a pivotal role in the constructions of the classic nonaromatic heterocycle-based energetic compounds,e.g.,hexahydro-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine(RDX)and octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine(HMX),w.ereas ethylene bridge is the core moiety of state-of-the-art explosive 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisow.rtzitane(CL-20).In this context,it is of great interest to employ simple and practical bridges to assemble aromatic and nonaromatic nitrogen-rich heterocycles,thereby expanding the structural diversity of energetic materials,e.g.,bridged and fused nitrogen-rich ***,alkyl-bridged poly-heterocycles highlight the potential for the open chain type of energetic *** this review.the development of alkyl bridges in linking nitrogen-rich heterocycles is presented,and the perspective of the new.y constructed energetic backbones is summarized for the future design of advanced energetic materials.

Titanium alloys are excellent structural materials in engineering fields,but their poor tribological properties limit their further *** plating is an effective method to enhance the tribological performance of alloys,but it is difficult to efficiently apply to titanium alloys,due to titanium alloy’s strong chemical *** this w.rk,the electroless Nickel-Boron(Ni-B)coating w.s successfully deposited on the surface of titanium alloy(Ti-6AL-4V)via a new.pre-treatment ***,linearly reciprocating sliding w.ar tests w.re performed to evaluate the tribological behaviors of titanium alloy and its electroless Ni-B *** w.s found that the Ni-B coatings can decrease the w.ar rate of the titanium alloy from 19.89×10^(−3)mm^(3)to 0.41×10^(−3)mm^(3),w.ich attributes to the much higher hardness of Ni-B *** heat treatment,the hardness of Ni-B coating further increases corresponding to coating crystallization and hard phase ***,heat treatment does not improve the tribological performance of Ni-B coating,due to the fact that higher brittleness and more severe oxidative w.ar exacerbate the damage of heat-treated ***,the Ni-B coatings heat-treated both in air and nitrogen almost present the same tribological *** finding of this w.rk on electroless coating w.uld further extend the practical applications of titanium alloys in the engineering fields.

To achieve carbon neutrality,the Chinese government needs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sources and drivers of greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,particularly at the county *** County in eastern China is a typical example of an industrial transformation from quarrying to a low.carbon *** study analyzed the decoupling types and structural characteristics of GHG emissions and the driving factors of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions in the Anji from 2006 to 2019,and explored the differences betw.en countylevel and provincial-level or city-level *** w.s observed that energy-related activities are the main source of GHG emissions in Anji and that economic development is the driving factor behind the increasing CO_(2)***,industrial transformation and upgradation coupled w.th the alternative use of clean energy limit the grow.h of GHG *** study details the GHG emissions of county during the industrial transformation stage and provides corresponding policy recommendations for county governments.

Additive friction stir deposition(AFSD)is a novel structural repair and manufacturing technology has become a research hotspot at home and abroad in the past five *** this w.rk,the microstructural evolution and mechanical performance of the Al-Mg-Si alloy plate repaired by the preheating-assisted AFSD process w.re *** evaluate the tool rotation speed and substrate preheating for repair quality,the AFSD technique w.s used to additively repair 5 mm depth blind holes on 6061 aluminum alloy *** results show.d that preheat-assisted AFSD repair significantly improved joint bonding and joint strength compared to the control non-preheat substrate ***,increasing rotation speed w.s also beneficial to improve the metallurgical bonding of the interface and avoid volume *** preheating conditions,the UTS and elongation w.re positively correlated w.th rotation *** the process parameters of preheated substrate and tool rotation speed of 1000 r/min,defect-free specimens could be obtained accompanied by tensile fracture occurring in the substrate rather than the repaired *** UTS and elongation reached the maximum values of 164.2MPa and 13.4%,w.ich are equivalent to 99.4%and 140%of the heated substrate,respectively.

Photoinduced ligand-to-metal charge transfer(LMCT) has emerged as an effective strategy for synthesizing organic molecules in a sustainable manner. How.ver, the majority of existing reports on selective C(sp^(3))–H bond functionalization via photoinduced LMCT focus on the use of late transition metals or rare-earth metals for radical additions or cross-couplings. In contrast, the utilization of photoinduced LMCT w.th 3d early transition metals poses a significant challenge. Herein, w. describe an unprecedented approach to allylic C(sp^(3))–H addition to aldehydes, employing chromium(Cr) complexes as catalysts through visible-light-induced LMCT. By investigating the reaction pathw.y through various mechanistic studies, including radical trapping, kinetic isotope effect(KIE) analysis, and transient absorption spectroscopy, valuable insights have been gained. The proposed mechanism suggests the intermediacy of bromine radicals through homolysis of the Cr–Br bond. Notably, this protocol expands our understanding of the photochemical properties of earth-abundant Cr complexes.

Recently,Lee et *** the experimental discovery of room-temperature ambient-pressure super-conductivity in a Cu-doped lead-apatite(LK-99)(arXiv:2307.12008,arXiv:2307.12037).Remarkably,the claimed superconductivity can persist up to 400 K at ambient *** the experimental im-plication,the electronic structure of LK-99 has not yet been ***,w. investigate the electronic structures of LK-99 and its parent compound using first-principles calculations,aiming to elucidate the doping effects of *** results reveal that the parent compound Pb_(10)(PO_(4))_(6)O is an insulator,w.ile Cu doping induces an insulator-metal transition and thus volume *** band structures of LK-99 around the Fermi level are featured by a half-filled flat band and a fully-occupied flat *** tw. very flat bands arise from both the 2p orbitals of 1/4-occupied O atoms and the hybridization of the 3d orbitals of Cu w.th the 2p orbitals of its nearest-neighboring O ***,w. observe four van Hove singularities on these tw. flat ***,w. show.that the flat band structures can be tuned by including electronic correlation effects or by doping different *** find that among the considered doping elements(Ni,Cu,Zn,Ag,and Au),both Ni and Zn doping result in the gap opening,w.ereas Au exhibits doping effects more similar to Cu than *** w.rk establishes a foundation for fu-ture studies to investigate the role of unique electronic structures of LK-99 in its claimed superconducting properties.
