Wearable technologies have the potential to become a valuable influence on human daily life where they may enable observing the world in new ways,including,for example,using augmented reality(AR)*** technology uses electronic devices that may be carried as accessories,clothes,or even embedded in the user's *** the potential benefits of smart wearables are numerous,their extensive and continual usage creates several privacy concerns and tricky information security *** this paper,we present a comprehensive survey of recent privacy-preserving big data analytics applications based on wearable *** highlight the fundamental features of security and privacy for wearable device ***,we examine the utilization of deep learning algorithms with cryptography and determine their usability for wearable *** also present a case study on privacy-preserving machine learning ***,we theoretically and empirically evaluate the privacy-preserving deep learning framework's *** explain the implementation details of a case study of a secure prediction service using the convolutional neural network(CNN)model and the Cheon-Kim-Kim-Song(CHKS)homomorphic encryption ***,we explore the obstacles and gaps in the deployment of practical real-world *** a comprehensive overview,we identify the most important obstacles that must be overcome and discuss some interesting future research directions.

Quantitative estimation of ground and stream waters draining through sedimentary rocks of the Pab and Mor ranges (Jurassic-Cretaceous) and the Bela ophiolite has been made. The degree of correspondence among cations and anions has been estimated in order to evaluate their mutual relationships. The abundance of major ions is interpreted to be related to bedrocks and climatic conditions, which may contribute to the genetic affiliation. The log TDS and Na/Na+Ca ratio reflected supremacy of weathering of rocks with some influence of evaporation. Ionic relationship is exhibited in the form of Stiff diagrams. Patterns of ionic composition revealed high NaCl, medium Ca(HCO3)2 and low MgSO4. Piper diagram has been used to classify the hydrofacies. The important hydrogeochemical parameters have been estimated for assessment of groundwater quality for domestic purposes in accordance to WHO. Irrigation water qualities have been evaluated in terms of EC, SAR, RSC, ESP and pH.

This study proposes an intelligent data analysis model for finding optimal patterns in human activities on the basis of biometric features obtained from four sensors installed on smartphone and smartwatch devices. The proposed model, referred to as Scheduling Activities of smartphone and smartwatch based on Optimal Pattern Model(SA-OPM), consists of four main stages. The first stage relates to the collection of data from four sensors in real time(i.e., two smartphone sensors called accelerometer and gyroscope and two smartwatch sensors of the same name).The second stage involves the preprocessing of the data by converting them into graphs. As graphs are difficult to deal with directly, a deterministic selection algorithm is proposed as a new method to find the optimal root to split the graphs into multiple subgraphs. The third stage entails determining the number of samples related to each subgraph by using the optimization technique called the lion optimization algorithm. The final stage involves the generation of patterns from the optimal subgraph by using the association pattern algorithm called g Span. The pattern finder based on Forward-Backward Rules(FBR) generates the optimal patterns and thus aids humans in organizing their activities. Results indicate that the proposed SA-OPM model generates robust and authentic patterns of human activities.

In this paper, we elaborate a new strategy based on cooperative game theory models to encourage and manage the interactions in a MicroGrid network. The proposed strategy optimizes the cooperation and the energy exchange in a distributed μGrid network. The strategy consists of a two stage algorithm: Coalition formation algorithm which was specifically created to approximate the optimal set of coalitions that return considerable savings. And the Matching game to manage the energy exchange inside each coalition. The performance of our strategy was verified through simulations. These latter show that the losses can be considerably decreased by the use of the proposed strategy: the rate of the loss reduction can reach up to 20% if the two stages are applied on the network. Moreover, the strategy proved to have a fast convergence which makes it operational for real implemented networks.

This paper presents an experimental study to compare the performance of model-free control strategies for pneumatic soft *** using soft materials,soft robots have gained much attention in academia and industry during recent years because of their inherent safety in human ***,due to structural flexibility and compliance,mathematical models for these soft robots are nonlinear with an infinite degree of freedom(DOF).Therefore,accurate position(or orientation)control and optimization of their dynamic response remains a challenging *** existing soft robots currently employed in industrial and rehabilitation applications use model-free control algorithms such as ***,to the best of our knowledge,there has been no systematic study on the comparative performance of model-free control algorithms and their ability to optimize dynamic response,i.e.,reduce overshoot and settling *** this paper,we present comparative performance of several variants of model-free PID-controllers based on extensive experimental ***,most of the existing work on modelfree control in pneumatic soft-robotic literature use manually tuned parameters,which is a time-consuming,labor-intensive *** present a heuristic-based coordinate descent algorithm to tune the controller parameter *** presented results for both manual tuning and automatic tuning using the Ziegler-Nichols method and proposed algorithm,*** then used experimental results to statistically demonstrate that the presented automatic tuning algorithm results in high *** experiment results show that for soft robots,the PID-controller essentially reduces to the PI *** behavior was observed in both manual and automatic tuning experiments;we also discussed a rationale for removing the derivative term.

This paper presents the design,and validation of a new adaptive control system based on quasi-time delay estimation(Q-TDE)augmented with new integral second-order terminal sliding mode control(ISOTSMC)for a manipulator robot with unknown dynamicuncertainty and *** to the conventional[TDE,the proposed Q-TDE becomes sufficient to invoke a fixed artficial time delay and utilize the past data only of the control input to approximate the unknown system's dynamic *** incorporating of new adaptive reachinglaw with ISOTSMCaugmented with Q-TDE policy ensures the continuous performance tracking of the robot manipulator's trajectories using output *** combination may achieve high performance with a significant chattering reducing *** utilizing the Lyapunov function theory,it can be demonstrated that the robot system is stable and all signals in closed-loop are converging in finite ***,Simulation and comparative studies with two degrees of freedom robot manipulator were carried out to validate the effectiveness of the designed control scheme.

Aim： To evaluate the protective effects of ginger （Gin） and roselle （Ros） against testicular damage and oxidative stress in a cisplatin （CIS）-induced rodent model. Their protective effects against CIS-induced apoptosis in testicular and epididymal sperms is also investigated. Methods： Ethanol extracts of Gin or Ros （1 g/***） were given orally to male albino rats for 26 days. This period began 21 days before a single CIS intraperitoneal injection （10 mg/kg body weight）. Results： Gin or Ros given orally significantly restored reproductive function. Both tested extracts notably reduced the CIS-induced reproductive toxicity, as evidenced by restoring the testis normal morphology. In Gin and Ros, the attenuation of CIS-induced damage was associated with less apoptotic cell death both in the testicular tissue and in the sperms. CIS-induced alterations of testicular lipid peroxidation were markedly improved by these plant extracts. Conclusion： The present results provide further insights into the mechanisms of protection against CIS-induced reproductive toxicity and confirm the essential anti-oxidant potential of both examined extracts. （Asian J Androl 2008 Mar; 10： 291-297）

N-4-（bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（o-, m- and p-tolyl）thioureas 3a, 3b and 3c respectively, were synthesized by the reaction of 4-bromobutanoylisothiocyanate with p-, m- and o-toludine. The products were characterized by IR, and NMR spectroscopic techniques. The two carbonoylthiourea isomers N-（4-bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（3-methylphenyl）thiourea （3b） and N-（4-bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（4- methylphenyl）thiourea （3c） were obtained in crystalline form by recrystallization from DMSO. X- ray crystallographic studies showed that both compounds 3b and 3c crystallize in triclinic system with space group ofPi. The molecules adopt trans-cis configuration with respect to the positions of 4-bromobutanoyl and tolyl groups respectively, against the thiono C=S bond across their C-N bonds The configuration is attributed by the intrahydrogen bond between the carbonyl oxygen and amide hydrogen atoms. Both crystal structures are stabilized by N-H…S intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form dimers and arranged along the b axis.
