The failur. of spur.gear. oper.ting in highly contaminated media was studied. In fact, the effect of the pr.sence of solid par.icles in gear.mechanisms dur.ng sur.ace tooth contact was obser.ed. It is shown that the solid contaminants lead to significant wear.in the fir.t few oper.ting cycles, in zones with a high r.te of sliding. The scanning electr.n micr.scopy(SEM) images show clear.y that the wear.is mor. significant for.a dr. contact in the pr.sence of lar.er.size par.icles. Indeed, the pr.sence of contaminants leads to an incr.ase in fr.ction, and ther.for. r.ises the temper.tur. and the vibr.tion levels when the oper.tion of gear.mechanism becomes ver. sever. especially for.a dr. contact under.the effect of lar.er.size par.icles. On the other.hand, we have tr.ed to obtain a better.under.tanding and a good descr.ption of wear.debr.s distr.butions in gear.mechanisms by using unimodal, single distr.bution models(Weibull and thr.e-par.meter.Weibull).

The main objective of this wor. is to investigate analytically the steady nanofluid flow and heat tr.nsfer.char.cter.stics between nonpar.llel plane walls. Using appr.pr.ate tr.nsfor.ations for.the velocity and temper.tur., the basic nonlinear.par.ial differ.ntial equations ar. r.duced to the or.inar. differ.ntial equations. Then, these equations have been solved analytically and numer.cally for.some values of the gover.ing par.meter., r.ynolds number. r., channel half angle, α, Pr.ndtl number. Pr. and Ecker. number. Ec, using Adomian decomposition method and the r.nge-Kutta method with mathematic package. Analytical and numer.cal r.sults ar. sear.hed for.the skin fr.ction coefficient, Nusselt number.and the velocity and temper.tur. pr.files. It is found on one hand that the Nusselt number.incr.ases as Ecker. number.or.channel half-angle incr.ases, but it decr.ases as r.ynolds number.incr.ases. On the other.hand, it is also found that the pr.sence of Cu nanopar.icles in a water.base fluid enhances heat tr.nsfer.between nonpar.llel plane walls and in consequence the Nusselt number.incr.ases with the incr.ase of nanopar.icles volume fr.ction. Finally, an excellent agr.ement between analytical r.sults and those obtained by numer.cal r.nge-Kutta method is highly noticed.

Ar.ificial Intelligence is r.volutionising our.communication pr.ctices and the ways in which we inter.ct with each other. This r.volution does not only impact how we communicate, but it affects the natur. of the par.ner. with whom we communicate. Online discussion platfor.s now allow humans to communicate with ar.ificial agents in the for. of socialbots. Such agents have the potential to moder.te online discussions and even manipulate and alter.public opinions. In this paper. we pr.pose to study this phenomenon using a constr.cted lar.e-scale agent platfor.. At the hear. of the platfor. lies an ar.ificial agent that can moder.te online discussions using ar.umentative messages. We investigate the influence of the agent on the evolution of an online debate involving human par.icipants. The agent will dynamically r.act to their.messages by moder.ting, suppor.ing, or.attacking their.stances. We conducted two exper.ments to evaluate the platfor. while looking at the effects of the conver.ational agent. The fir.t exper.ment is a lar.e-scale discussion with 1076 citizens fr.m Afghanistan discussing ur.an policy-making in the city of Kabul. The goal of the exper.ment was to incr.ase the citizen involvement in implementing Sustainable Development Goals. The second exper.ment is a small-scale debate between a gr.up of 16 students about globalisation and taxation in Myanmar. In the fir.t exper.ment, we found that the agent impr.ved the r.sponsiveness of the par.icipants and incr.ased the number.of identified ideas and issues. In the second exper.ment, we found that the agent polar.sed the debate by r.infor.ing the initial stances of the par.icipant.
