Regenerative medicine is the field concerned with the repair and restoration of the integrity of damaged human tissues as well as whole *** the inception of the field several decades ago,regenerative medicine therapies,namely stem cells,have received significant attention in preclinical studies and clinical *** from their known potential for differentiation into the various body cells,stem cells enhance the organ's intrinsic regenerative capacity by altering its environment,whether by exogenous injection or introducing their products that modulate endogenous stem cell function and fate for the sake of ***,research in cardiology has highlighted the evidence for the existence of cardiac stem and progenitor cells(CSCs/CPCs).The global burden of cardiovascular diseases’morbidity and mortality has demanded an in-depth understanding of the biology of CSCs/CPCs aiming at improving the outcome for an innovative therapeutic *** review will discuss the nature of each of the CSCs/CPCs,their environment,their interplay with other cells,and their *** addition,important issues are tackled concerning the potency of CSCs/CPCs in relation to their secretome for mediating the ability to influence other ***,the review will throw the light on the clinical trials and the preclinical studies using CSCs/CPCs and combined therapy for cardiac ***,the novel role of nanotechnology in cardiac regeneration will be explored.

Objective:Early treatment of acute ischemia of the heart by performing immediate percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)to restore blood fl ow in patients with the clinical presentation of an acute coronary syndrome and more specifi cally with ST-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)can save *** study aims to identify the mean time(door to balloon time and fi rst contact to balloon time)to primary PCI for STEMI patients and to assess the percentage of primary PCI and its success rate in ***:A registry study of patients presenting to cardiac centers in Egypt was designed,where patients’basic characteristics,the treatment strategy,and the door to balloon time and the fi rst contact to balloon time were ***:One thousand six hundred fi fty STEMI patients with a mean age of 57 years were included in the *** transfer for primary PCI was the most used treatment strategy,representing 74.6%of all treatment strategies *** door to balloon time and the fi rst contact to balloon time were 50 and 60 minutes,respectively,with a primary PCI success rate of 65.1%.Conclusion:The registry study results showed a marked improvement by implementation of the best treatment strategy with respect to the time factor to achieve a better outcome for STEMI patients in Egypt.

Optimization of Quantum Cost for Low Energy Reversible Signed/Unsigned Multiplier Using Urdhva-Tiryakbhyam Sutra

One of the elementary operations in computing systems is ***,high-speed and low-power multipliers design is mandatory for efficient computing *** designing low-energy dissipation circuits,reversible logic is more efficient than irreversible logic circuits but at the cost of higher *** paper introduces an efficient signed/unsigned 4×4 reversible Vedic multiplier with minimum quantum *** Vedic multiplier is considered fast as it generates all partial product and their sum in one *** paper proposes two reversible Vedic multipliers with optimized quantum cost and garbage ***,the unsigned Vedic multiplier is designed based on the Urdhava Tiryakbhyam(UT)*** multiplier consists of bitwise multiplication and adder *** with Vedic multipliers in the literature,the proposed design has a quantum cost of 111 with a reduction of 94%compared to the previous *** has a garbage output of 30 with optimization of the best-compared ***,the proposed unsigned multiplier is expanded to allow the multiplication of signed numbers as well as unsigned *** signed Vedic multipliers are presented with the aim of obtaining more optimization in performance *** has separate binary two’s complement(B2C)and MUX circuits,while DesignII combines binary two’s complement and MUX circuits in one *** shows the lowest quantum cost,231,regarding *** has a quantum cost of 199,reducing to 86.14%of *** functionality of the proposed multiplier is simulated and verified using XILINX ISE 14.2.

Deep learning-based approaches for myocardial infarction detection:A comprehensive review recent advances and emerging challenges

Myocardial infarction(MI)is a severe heart disease requiring immediate and accurate detection for effective *** learning(DL)algorithms have recently shown promise in enhancing MI diagnostic accuracy from electrocardiography(ECG)and echocardiogram(ECHO).This review presents a comprehensive literature overview focusing on recent innovative research on DL algorithms in ECG and ECHO analysis for MI *** examined relevant studies employing DL models,analyzing datasets,model architectures,preprocessing approaches,and performance *** findings reveal that DL-based algorithms substantially improve MI detection in terms of accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,and overall diagnostic *** is crucial for quicker,more reliable diagnoses and reducing the risk of ***-based ECG and ECHO analyses emerge as pivotal tools for early and efficient MI *** review contributes to understanding the latest DL advancements in ECG and ECHO analysis for MI diagnosis,offering important directions for future research.

Combined Economic and Emission Dispatch(CEED)task forms multi-objective optimization problems to be resolved to minimize emission and fuel *** disadvantage of the conventional method is its incapability to avoid falling in local optimal,particularly when handling nonlinear and complex *** have recently received considerable attention due to their enhanced capacity to prevent local optimal solutions in addressing all the optimization problems as a black ***,this paper focuses on the design of an improved sand cat optimization algorithm based CEED(ISCOA-CEED)*** ISCOA-CEED technique majorly concen-trates on reducing fuel costs and the emission of generation ***,the presented ISCOA-CEED technique transforms the equality constraints of the CEED issue into inequality ***,the improved sand cat optimization algorithm(ISCOA)is derived from the integration of tra-ditional SCOA with the Levy Flight(LF)*** last,the ISCOA-CEED technique is applied to solve a series of 6 and 11 generators in the CEED *** experimental validation of the ISCOA-CEED technique ensured the enhanced performance of the presented ISCOA-CEED technique over other recent approaches.

Effects of Nigella sativa on outcome of hepatitis C in Egypt

AIM: To evaluate the safety, efficacy and tolerability of Nigella sativa (N. sativa ) in patients with hepatitis C not eligible for interferon (IFN)-α. METHODS: Thirty patients with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, who were not eligible for IFN/ribavirin therapy, were included in the present study. Inclusion criteria included: patients with HCV with or without cirrhosis, who had a contraindication to IFN-α therapy, or had refused or had a financial constraint to IFN-α therapy. Exclusion criteria included: patients on IFN-α therapy, infection with hepatitis B or hepatitis Ⅰ virus, hepatocellular carcinoma, other malignancies, major severe illness, or treatment non-compliance. Various parameters, including clinical parameters, complete blood count, liver function, renal function, plasma glucose, total antioxidant capacity (TAC), and polymerase chain reaction, were all assessed at baseline and at the end of the study. Clinical assessment included: hepato and/ or splenomegaly, jaundice, palmar erythema, flapping tremors, spider naevi, lower-limb edema, and ascites. N. sativa was administered for three successive months at a dose of (450 mg three times daily). Clinical response and incidence of adverse drug reactions were assessed initially, periodically, and at the end of the study. RESULTS: N. sativa administration significantly improved HCV viral load (380808.7 ± 610937 vs 147028.2 ± 475225.6, P = 0.001) and TAC (1.35 ± 0.5 vs 1.612 ± 0.56, P = 0.001). After N. sativa administration, the following laboratory parameters improved: total protein (7.1 ± 0.7 vs 7.5 ± 0.8, P = 0.001), albumin (3.5 ± 0.87 vs 3.69 ± 0.91, P = 0.008), red blood cell count (4.13 ± 0.9 vs 4.3 ± 0.9, P = 0.001), and platelet count (167.7 ± 91.2 vs 198.5 ± 103, P = 0.004). Fasting blood glucose (104.03 ± 43.42 vs 92.1 ± 31.34, P = 0.001) and postprandial blood glucose (143.67 ± 72.56 vs 112.1 ± 42.9, P = 0.001) were significantly decreased in both diabetic and non-diabetic HCV patients. Sign language recognition can be considered as an effective solution for disabled people to communicate with *** helps them in conveying the intended information using sign languages without any *** advancements in computer vision and image processing techniques can be leveraged to detect and classify the signs used by disabled people in an effective *** optimization algorithms can be designed in a manner such that it fine tunes the hyper parameters,used in Deep Learning(DL)models as the latter considerably impacts the classification *** this motivation,the current study designs the Optimal Deep Transfer Learning Driven Sign Language Recognition and Classification(ODTL-SLRC)model for disabled *** aim of the proposed ODTL-SLRC technique is to recognize and classify sign languages used by disabled *** proposed ODTL-SLRC technique derives EfficientNet model to generate a collection of useful feature *** addition,the hyper parameters involved in EfficientNet model are fine-tuned with the help of HGSO ***,Bidirectional Long Short Term Memory(BiLSTM)technique is employed for sign language *** proposed ODTL-SLRC technique was experimentally validated using benchmark dataset and the results were inspected under several *** comparative analysis results established the superior performance of the proposed ODTL-SLRC technique over recent approaches in terms of efficiency.
