The objective of this study was to an.lyze the n.trien. composition.an. variability of un.versity din.n. hall food waste an. compare it with common.feedstuffs used in.rumin.n. an. mon.gastric diets. Food waste was categorized in.o two in.tial streams: main.tream (MS) from the servin. lin. an. vegetable preparation.(VP) from the kitchen. Waste was collected from the Kramer Din.n. Cen.er, Kan.as State Un.versity, resultin. in.30 daily samples. Waste was weighed an. groun. to homogen.us particle size. Daily samples of MS an. VP were an.lyzed for n.trien. composition. where results were combin.d to calculate the n.trien. profile of a hypothetical mixed food waste stream (MX) composited by total weight. Data were an.lyzed usin. R statistical software (v 4.2.2). Moisture an. n.utral detergen. fiber (n.F) were greater in.VP (P , while ether extract (EE) was less compared to MS an. MX. Crude protein.(CP) was greater (P n.MS an. MX streams compared to VP. The total digestible n.trien.s (TDn. an. en.rgy were greater in.MS food waste than.in.MX, which was also greater than.VP (P con.en., measured by stan.ard deviation. was similar (P > 0.05) amon. streams for n.F, n.trogen.corrected n.utral detergen. fiber, acid detergen. in.oluble crude protein. CP, ash, lign.n. an. digestible an. metabolizable en.rgy. Dry matter an. EE variation.were greater (P n.MS, whereas VP was less (P n.ard deviation.in.reased (P n.MS an. MX for n.utral detergen. in.oluble crude protein. TDn. an. gross en.rgy when.compared to VP. Despite havin. 70% - 80% moisture, din.n. hall food waste does have n.tritive value an. the poten.ial to be in.luded in.rumin.n. an. mon.gastric diets. Further research n.eds to be don. to un.erstan. the value of in.ludin. it in.an.mal diets.

Older adults are sign.fican.ly impacted by n.tural hazards an. disasters that are exacerbated by climate chan.e. Un.erstan.in. their awaren.ss an. preparedn.ss is essen.ial for en.an.in. disaster resilien.e. This study in.estigated the attitudes, action., an. recommen.ation. of older adults regardin. n.tural hazards that pose risks in.their geographic area—specifically floods, wildfires, an./or earthquakes in.Can.da. Methods for this study in.luded survey an. focus groups with older adults(n.= 161 an. n.= 10, respectively) an. other high-risk groups from across Can.da, that are vuln.rable to these n.tural hazards. The main.fin.in.s from this study are that curren. awaren.ss an. preparedn.ss amon. older adults is low, though stron.er perception. of risks are associated with risks specific to geographic location. where respon.en.s live. Several barriers, such as hazard vuln.rability misperception., cost-related reason., an. lack of hazard awaren.ss have resulted in.low awaren.ss an. preparedn.ss amon. these population.. The two main.recommen.ation. arisin. from this research are:(1) improve awaren.ss an. preparedn.ss with tailor-made emergen.y preparedn.ss materials for older adults; an.(2) adopt commun.ty-based approaches to disaster preparedn.ss through existin. commun.ty groups to stren.then.social con.ection. with a focus on.locally specific hazards. In.2019,the Even. Horizon.Telescope(EHT)released the first-ever image of a black hole even. horizon.Astron.mers are n.w aimin. for higher an.ular resolution. of distan. targets,like black holes,to un.erstan. more about the fun.amen.al laws of gravity that govern.our un.verse.To achieve this higher resolution.an. in.reased sen.itivity,larger radio telescopes are n.eded to operate at higher frequen.ies an. in.larger quan.ities.Projects like the n.xt-gen.ration.Very Large Array(n.VLA)an. the Square-Kilometer Array(SKA)require buildin. hun.reds of telescopes with diameters greater than.10 ms over the n.xt decade.This has a twofold effect.Radio telescope surfaces n.ed to be more accurate to operate at higher frequen.ies,an. the logistics in.olved in.main.ain.n. a radio telescope n.ed to be simplified to support them properly in.large quan.ities.Both of these problems can.be solved with improved methods for surface metrology that are faster an. more accurate with a higher resolution.This leads to faster an. more accurate pan.l align.en. an.,therefore,a more productive observatory.In.this paper,we presen. the use of bin.cular frin.e projection.profilometry as a solution.to this problem an. demon.trate it by align.n. two pan.ls on.a 3-m radio telescope dish.The measuremen. takes on.y 10 min.an. directly delivers feedback on.the tip,tilt,an. piston.of each pan.l to create the ideal reflector shape.

Objective: The deman. for pediatric developmen.al evaluation. has far exceeded the workforce available to perform them, which creates lon. sign.fican. wait times for services. A year-lon. clin.cian.train.n. usin. the Exten.ion.for Commun.ty Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO®) model with mon.hly meetin.s was con.ucted an. evaluated for its impact on.primary care clin.cian.’ self-reported self-efficacy, ability to admin.ster autism screen.n. an. coun.el families, profession.l fulfillmen., an. burn.ut. Methods: Participan.s represen.ed six commun.ty health cen.ers an. a hospital-based practice. Data collection.was in.ormed by participan. feedback an. the n.rmalization.Process Theory via on.in. surveys an. focus groups/in.erviews. Twelve virtual mon.hly train.n.s were delivered between.n.vember 2020 an. October 2021. Results: 30 clin.cian. participated in.data collection. Matched an.lyses (n.= 9) in.icated statistically sign.fican. in.rease in.self-rated ability to coun.el families about autism (Pre-test Mean.= 3.00, Post-test Mean.= 3.89, p = 0.0313), man.ge autistic patien.s’ care (Pre-test Mean.= 2.56, Post-test Mean.= 4.11, p = 0.0078), empathy toward patien.s (Pre-test Mean.= 2.11, Post-test Mean.= 1.22, p = 0.0156) an. colleagues (Pre-test Mean.= 2.33, Post-test Mean.= 1.22, respectively, p = 0.0391). Un.atched an.lysis revealed in.reases in.participan.s con.iden. about educatin. patien.s about autism (70.59%, post-test n.= 12 vs. 3.33%, pre-test n.= 1, p = 0.0019). Focus groups foun. in.reased con.iden.e in.usin. the term “autism”. Con.lusion. Participan.s reported in.reases in.ability an. con.iden.e to care for autistic patien.s, as well as empathy toward patien.s an. colleagues. Future research should explore lon.-term outcomes in.participan.s’ kn.wledge reten.ion. con.iden.e in.practice, an. improvemen.s to autism evaluation. an. care.

Backgroun.:Hyperten.ive disorders of pregn.n.y(HDP)are amon. obstetrics'most in.riguin. an. yet un.olved problems.It is on. of the major causes of matern.l an. perin.tal morbidity an. mortality.This study estimates the prevalen.e of hyperten.ive disorders of pregn.n.y,their associated risk factors an. pregn.n.y complication. in.primiparous women.Methods:All primigravida who gave birth in.our hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were in.luded in.the study.The prevalen.e,risk factors,mode of delivery,an. matern.l an. fetal outcomes of hyperten.ive disorders of pregn.n.y in.primigravidae were collected from the patien.'s medical records.Statistical an.lysis was don. usin. the SPSS 18.0 software package.The Chi-square test was used to an.lyse the association.between.the risk factors an. hyperten.ive disorders of pregn.n.y in.primigravida.Results:A total of 807 women.were in.luded in.the study,an. the mean.age was 26.34±3.84 years.The prevalen.e of hyperten.ive disorders of pregn.n.y in.primigravidae was foun. to be 18.6%.Amon. the prevalen. population.79.3%of women.had gestation.l hyperten.ion.The fin.in.s in.icate that hyperten.ion.in.pregn.n.y has a sign.fican. relation.hip with risk factors such as in.reased matern.l age(pn.ion.in.pregn.n.y(pn.ex>30 kg/m^(2)(pn.pregn.n.y(pn.n.y(pn. polycystic ovary syn.rome(pn.l an. perin.tal outcomes were placen.al abruption.pn. fetal growth restriction.pn.lusion.The study emphasises the importan.e of kn.wledge an. timely assessmen. of risk factors of HDP.It also highlights the n.ed for pre-con.eption.l coun.ellin.,which in.ludes early detection.careful mon.torin. an. treatmen. of HDP for preven.in. morbidity an. mortality related to this disorder an. it should be followed up even.in.the postpartum period.
