Heterogeneous information network(HIN)has recently been widely adopted to describe complex graph structure in recommendation systems,proving its effectiveness in modeling complex graph *** existing HIN-based recommendation studies have achieved great success by performing message propagation between connected nodes on the defined metapaths,they have the following major *** works mainly convert heterogeneous graphs into homogeneous graphs via defining metapaths,which are not expressive enough to capture more complicated dependency relationships involved on the ***,the heterogeneous information is more likely to be provided by item attributes while social relations between users are not adequately *** tackle these limitations,we propose a novel social recommendation model MPISR,which models MetaPath Interaction for Social Recommendation on heterogeneous information ***,our model first learns the initial node representation through a pretraining module,and then identifies potential social friends and item relations based on their similarity to construct a unified *** then develop the two-way encoder module with similarity encoder and instance encoder to capture the similarity collaborative signals and relational dependency on different *** experiments on five real datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

Safeguarding the elderly population in the countryside is an inherent requirement for alleviating social conflicts in rural areas and effectively carrying out China’s Rural *** existing spatial mismatch between rural elderly service facilities and pop-ulation distribution in China aggravates the imbalance of facility resource space,how to improve the accuracy of demand and supply results and better measuring the spatial fairness of elderly service is significant to realize the optimal allocation of rural elderly *** on the above,this study pays attention to the refined needs of the elderly population,and focuses on the spatial equity of the rural elderly facilities,to make up for the short boards of the basic public services in the countryside and realize the all-round rural *** study takes Huanxian County in the hilly loess area of Longdong,China as an example and explores the spatial equity of rural elderly services by using the Urban Spatial Network Analysis(UNA)to measure the accessible quantity and supply capacity of elderly *** results found that there were 553 rural eldercare service facilities in Huanxian County,including 285 eldercare facilities and 268 medical and health facilities,and the spatial distribution is characterized by a southward shift in the east and uneven regional ***,the supply capacity of rural pension services was generally good,with the township center as the gathering point and spreading out in a faceted manner,with nearby townships forming a contiguous area;however,there were strong contrasts and obvious differences in the strength of supply ***,the spatial equity of rural eldercare service was *** 42.05%of the eld-erly population grid cells,eldercare service spatial equity was extremely *** spatial distribution also presented a northern preference over the southern,a western preference over the eastern,and a concentration along the *** stud

Hydropower development has become an important driver of habitat loss and fragmentation across lowland tropical *** ample evidence on the detrimental effects of insular habitat fragmentation on biodiversity,invertebrate taxa,that may be critical to ecosystem functioning,have been *** assessed the assemblage-level responses of social wasps to forest insularization induced by the Balbina Hydroelectric Dam in Central Brazilian *** malaise trapping,we captured wasps on 27 forest islands and three continuous *** constructed Generalized Linear Models and employed a model selection approach to examine the impact of local variables(fire severity(FIRE)and basal area of pioneer tree species(PIONEER))and landscape-scale variables(amount of habitat(COVER))on patterns of species richness,composition,and body size of wasps.A total of 374 individuals(29 species)were collected across all sampling *** was the main predictor of species richness,while PIONEER was the only variable that explained variation in community composition,with a negative effect on body *** results add evidence to the pervasive impacts of large hydroelectric dams on tropical forest biodiversity,and suggest that social wasps,among other invertebrates,can be used as bioindicators in infrastructure development projects.

Cartilage is well lubricated over a lifetime and this phenomenon is attributed to both of the surface hydration lubrication and the matrix load-bearing *** hydrogels with a layered structure are designed to mimic cartilage as potential *** many studies have concentrated on improving surface hydration to reduce friction,few have experimentally detected the relationship between load-bearing capacity of hydrogels and their interface friction *** this work,a bilayer hydrogel,serving as a cartilage prototype consisted of a top thick hydrated polymer brush layer and a bottom hydrogel matrix with tunable modulus was designed to investigate this *** coefficient of friction(COF,μ)is defined as the sum of interfacial component(μInt)and deformation/hysteresis component(μHyst).The presence of the top hydration layer effectively dissipates contact stress and reduces the interface interaction(μInt),leading to a stable and low *** contribution of mechanical deformation(μHyst)during the sliding shearing process to COF can be significantly reduced by increasing the local mechanical modulus,thereby enhancing the load-bearing *** results show that the strategy of coupling surface hydration layer with a high load-bearing matrix can indeed enhance the lubrication performance of hydrogel cartilage prototypes,and implies a promising routine for designing robust soft matter lubrication system and friction-control devices.

The formation and growth of segregation ice dominate the frost heave during soil freezing,which is closely related to water *** analyze segregation ice during soil freezing for different soils,a freezing-thawing experiment was conducted with Lanzhou loess(LZL)and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau silty clay(QSC)using a novel layered nuclear magnetic resonance *** LZL freezing,the unfrozen water content first increased and then decreased with decreasing temperature near the freezing front,but decreased with decreasing temperature in other layers,whereas during the freezing of QSC,the unfrozen water content in different layers(including the freezing front)decreased with decreased ***,the increased liquid water near the freezing front during LZL freezing was primarily adsorbed *** addition to the temperature gradient,the squeezing action during soil freezing was another important factor affecting water migration,especially at the early stage of soil ***,which of the two factors,squeezing action and temperature gradient,was the dominant one causing water migration depended on soil *** the early stage of soil freezing,the squeezing action had a significant effect on the water migration of LZL,but no significant effect on that of ***,water accumulation of LZL near the freezing front due to squeezing action at the early stage of freezing limited the formation and growth of segregation *** study provided an improved understanding for ice segregation and water migration during soil freezing.

Rheumatoid arthritis (ra) is a chronic infla.ma.ory autoimmune disease accompanied by persistent multiarticular synovitis and cartilage degradation. The present clinical treatments are limited to disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DmaRDs) and aims to relieve pain and control the infla.ma.ion of ra. Despite considerable advances in the research of ra, the employment of current clinical procedure is enormous, hindered by systemic side effect, frequent administration, tolerance from long-lasting administration, and high costs. Emerging immunoengineering-based strategies, such as multiple immune-active nanotechnologies via mechanism-based immunology approaches, have been developed to improve specific targeting and to reduce adverse reactions for ra treatments. Here, we review recent studies in immunoengineering for the treatment of ra. The prospect of future immunoengineering treatment for ra has also been discussed.
