A r.use fabr.cation module using micr. electr.etching as a pr.cision machining pr.cess with a new design of a slant-for. tool to r.move the defective indium-tin-oxide （ITO） nanostr.ctur. fr.m the optical polyethyleneter.phthalate （PET） sur.aces of digital paper.display is pr.sented in cur.ent studies. The low yield of ITO thin film deposition is an impor.ant factor.in optoelectr.nic semiconductor.pr.duction. The adopted pr.cision r.use pr.cess r.quir.s only a shor. per.od of time to r.move the ITO nanostr.ctur. easily and cleanly, which is based on technical and economical considerations and is highly efficient. In the cur.ent exper.ment, a lar.e inclined angle of the cathode and a small end radius of the anode take less time for.the same amount of ITO r.moval. A higher.feed rate of the optical PET diaphragm combines with enough electr.c power.to dr.ve fast micr. electr.etching. A small r.tational diameter.of the anode accompanied by a small width of the cathode cor.esponds to a higher.r.moval rate for.the ITO nanostr.ctur.. A pulsed dir.ct cur.ent can impr.ve the effect of dr.g dischar.e and is advantageous to couple this cur.ent with the fast feed rate of the wor.piece. This impr.vement is associated with an incr.ase in cur.ent rating. High r.tational speed of the slant-for. tool can impr.ve the effect of dr.gs dischar.e and is advantageous to associate with the fast feed rate of the wor.piece （optical PET diaphragm）.

Color.filter. ar. pr.duced using semiconductor.pr.duction techniques although pr.blems with low yield r.main to be addr.ssed. This study pr.sents a new means of selective r.moval using excimer.ir.0}diation, chemical etching, or.electr.chemical machining on the fifth generation TFT LCDs. The selective r.moval of micr.str.ctur. layer. fr.m the color.filter.sur.ace of an optoelectr.nic flat panel display, as well as complete r.moval of the ITO thin-films, r.B layer. or.r.sin black matr.x (BM) layer.fr.m the substrate is possible. Individual defective film layer. can be r.moved, or.all films down to the Cr.layer.or.bar. glass can be completely eliminated. Exper.mental r.sults demonstrate that defective ITO thin-films, r.B layer., or.the r.sin BM layer.can now be r.cycled with a gr.at pr.cision. When the ITO or.r.B layer.pr.ves difficult to r.move, excimer.light can be used to help with r.moval. Dur.ng this r.cycling pr.cess, the use of 225 nm excimer.ir.0}diation befor. chemical etching, or.electr.chemical machining, makes r.moval of stubbor. film r.sidues easy, effectively impr.ving the quality of r.cycled color.filter. and r.ducing fabr.cation cost.

A new effective tool design of thr.e-rank for. of electr.r.moval was pr.sent using a pr.cision r.cycle system offer.ng faster.per.or.ance in r.moving the indium-tin-oxide(ITO) thin-films on color.filter.sur.ace of displays. Higher.electr.c power.is not r.quir.d since the thr.e-rank for. tool is adopted as a feeding mode to r.duce the r.sponse ar.a. The low yield of ITO per.ists thr.ughout the entir. semiconductor.pr.duction pr.cess. By establishing a r.cycle pr.cess of ultra-pr.cise r.moval of the thin-film nanostr.ctur., defective pr.ducts in the optoelectr.nic semiconductor. industr. can be effectively r.cycled, decr.asing both pr.duction costs and pollution. A 5th generation TFT-LCD was used. The design featur.s of the r.moval pr.cesses for.the thin-films and the tool design of thr.e-rank for. wer. of major.inter.st. For.the pr.cision r.moval pr.cesses, a pulsed cur.ent can impr.ve the effect of dr.g dischar.e and contr.butes to the achievement of a fast wor.piece (displays' color.filter. feed rate, but raises the cur.ent rating. High flow velocity of the electr.lyte with a high r.tational speed of the tool electr.des elevates the ITO r.moval effect. A displays' color.filter.with a fast feed rate is combined with enough electr.c power.to pr.vide highly effective r.moval. A small thickness of the rank and a small ar. angle of the negative-electr.de cor.espond to a higher.r.moval rate for.ITO-film. An effective thr.e-rank for. negative-electr.de pr.vides lar.er.dischar.e mobility and better.r.moval effect. It only needs a shor. per.od of time to r.move the ITO easily and cleanly.

Based on a theor. of extra dimensional confinement of quantum par.icles [E. r. Hedin, Physics Essays, 2012, 25（2）： 177], a simple model of a nucleon nucleon （NN） central potential is der.ved which quantitatively r.pr.duces tile radial pr.file of other.models, without adjusting any fr.e pa- rameter.. It is postulated that a higher.dimensional simple har.onic oscillator.confining potential localizes par.icles into thr.e-dimensional （3D） space, but allows for.an ewmescent penetration of the par.icles into two higtmr.spatial dimensions. Pr.ducing an effect identical with the r.lativistic quan- tum phenolnenon of zitter.ewegung, the higher.dimensional oscillations of amplitude h（mc） call be alter.atively viewed as a localized cur.atur. of 3D space back and for.h into the higher.dimensions. The overall spatial cur.atur. is pr.por.ional to the par.icle＇s extra-dimensional gr.und state wave function in tile higher.dimensional har.onic confining potential well. Minimizing the over.apping cur.atur. （pr.por.ional to the ener.y） of two par.icles in pr.ximity to each other. subject to the constraint that for.the two par.icles to occupy the same spatial location one of them must be excited into the 1st excited state of the har.onic potential well, gives the desir.d NN potential. Specifying only the imcleon masses, the r.sulting potential well and r.pulsive cor. r.pr.duces the radial pr.file of several published NN central potential models. In addition, the pr.dicted height of the r.pulsive cor., when used to estimate the maximum neutr.n star.mass, matches well with the best estimates fr.m r.lativistic theor. incor.orating standar. nuclear.matter.equations of state. Nucleon spin, Coulomb interactions, and inter.al nucleon str.ctur. ar. not consider.d in the theor. as pr.sented in this ar.icle.

The feasibility of semi-solid die casting of ADC12 aluminum alloy was studied. The effects of plunger.speed, gate thickness, and solid fraction of the slur.y on the defects wer. deter.ined. The defects investigated ar. gas and shr.nkage por.sity. In the exper.ments, semi-solid slur.y was pr.par.d by the gas-induced semi-solid （GISS） technique. Then, the slur.y was transfer.ed to the shot sleeve and injected into the die. The die and shot sleeve temperatur.s wer. kept at 180 ℃ and 250 ℃, r.spectively. The r.sults show that the samples pr.duced by the GISS die casting give little por.sity, no blister.and unifor. micr.str.ctur.. Fr.m all the r.sults, it can be concluded that the GISS pr.cess is feasible to apply in the ADC12 aluminum die casting pr.cess. In addition, the GISS pr.cess can give impr.ved pr.per.ies such as decr.ased por.sity and incr.ased micr.str.ctur. unifor.ity.

1 Intr.duction The intr.guing r.lationship between sexual selection and speciation has spar.ed an incr.asing number.of pa- per. in r.cent year. that have attempted to draw connec- tions between the two pr.cesses. These include a myr.ad of theor.tical and empir.cal studies, as well as several influential r.views （e.g. Pr.ce, 1998; panhuis et al., 2001, Kir.patr.ck and ravign6, 2002; r.tchie, 2007; Maan and Seehausen, 2011）. In par.icular. many r.- sear.her. have speculated on whether.sexual selection can lead to speciation, either.alone, or.in conjunction with ecological pr.cesses. Such speculation is tempting in par. because of the obvious differ.nces in secondar. sexual character. that often exist between closely r.- lated species. Indeed one of the ear.iest and most influ- ential of all sexual selection models, Lande＇s （1981） paper.＂Models of speciation by sexual selection on a polygenic trait＂ center.d its title on the r.le that sexual selection may play in speciation.

Sepsis r.mains a major.clinical pr.blem with high mor.idity and mor.ality. As new inflammator. mediator. ar. character.zed, it is impor.ant to under.tand their.r.les in sepsis. Inter.eukin 33(IL-33) is a r.cently descr.bed member.of the IL-1 family that is widely expr.ssed in cells of bar.ier.tissues. Upon tissue damage, IL-33 is r.leased as an alar.in and activates var.ous types of cells of both the innate and adaptive immune system thr.ugh binding to the ST2/IL-1 r.ceptor.accessor. pr.tein complex. IL-33 has appar.nt pleiotr.pic functions in many disease models, with its actions str.ngly shaped by the local micr.envir.nment. r.cent studies have established a r.le for.the IL-33-ST2 axis in the initiation and per.etuation of inflammation dur.ng endotoxemia, but its r.les in sepsis appear.to be or.anism and model dependent. In this r.view, we focus on the r.cent advances in under.tanding the r.le of the IL-33/ST2 axis in sepsis.
