The novel coronavirus disease 2019 is an infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SArS-CoV-2)and was declared a global pandemic with more than 500 million reported cases and more than 6 million deaths worldwide to *** it has transitioned into the endemic phase in many countries,the mortality rate and overall prognosis of the disease are still abysmal and need further *** has been evidence that shows the significance of SArS-CoV-2-related liver ***,we review the literature on the various spectrum of SArS-CoV-2 infection-induced liver injury and the possible mechanisms of damage to the hepatobiliary *** review aimed to illustrate the latest understanding regarding SArS-CoV-2-induced liver injury including the high-risk populations,the characteristic clinical manifestations,the possible pathogenic mechanism,the pathological changes,the current suggestions for clinical treatment for various spectrum of populations,and the prognosis of the *** conclusion,SArS-CoV-2 patients with a liver injury warrant close monitoring as it is associated with the more severe and poorer outcome of the infection.

BACkGrOUND:Carcinoid of the gallbladder is *** it often presents as a gallbladder mass it may be confused with gallbladder carcinoma. METHODS:A 35-year-old lady presented with pain in the right upper abdomen,and was radiologically found to have a gallbladder mass.A provisional diagnosis of gallbladder carcinoma was *** revealed a 20×20 cm, exophytic,friable growth arising from the fundus of the *** was excised with segmentⅣb andⅤof the liver and regional lymphadenectomy. rESULT:Histopathological examination revealed it was a neuroendocrine carcinoma,atypical carcinoid of the gallbladder. CONCLUSION:Gallbladder carcinoid has a poor outcome, requires aggressive treatment,and should be considered as one of the rare but possible gallbladder lesions.

renal tumor surgery places patients at increased risk for chronic kidney disease(CkD). Accurate quantification of kidney function changes before and after surgery is essential to determine the magnitude of decline attributable to an index procedure. Current literature, however, highlights heterogeneity and inconsistencies in measurement techniques thereby contributing to ambiguity amongst studies. Further efforts are necessary to standardize reporting of kidney function outcomes related to renal surgery.

Gangrenous cholecystitis(GC) is a severe and potentially deadly complication of acute cholecystitis. We present a 83-year-old gentleman with a past medical history of type 2 diabetes mellitus with significant associated neuropathy, presenting to a community hospital in a major metropolitan area with 10 days nausea and vomiting and a benign abdominal exam. While the patient was admitted for hyperglycemia, he was subsequently found to have severe GC requiring urgent surgical intervention.

Two highly sensitive methods for the determination of genotoxic alkyl methane sulfonates (AMSs) and alkyl paratoluene sulfonates (APTSs) in lamivudine using hyphenated techniques have been presented. AMSs were determined by GC-MS method using GSBPINOWAX (30 m 0.25 mm 0.25 mm) column. Temperature program was set by maintaining at 100 1C initially for 3 min, then rised to 220 1C at the rate of 15 1C/min and maintained at 220 1C for 16 min. N,N-dimethyl formamide was used as diluent. APTSs were determined by LC-MS using Zorbax, rx C8, 250 mm 4.6 mm, 5 mm column as stationary phase. 0.01 M ammonium acetate is used as buffer. The mixture of buffer and methanol in 75:25 (v/v) ratio was used as mobile phase A and mixture of buffer and methanol in 5:95 (v/v) ratio was used as mobile phase B. The gradient program (T/%B) was set as 0/28, 16/50, 17/100, 23/100, 27/28 and 40/28. Both the methods were validated as per International Conference on Harmonization guidelines. Limit of quantitation was found 1.5 mg/mL for AMSs and was in the range of 1.0-1.5 mg/mL for APTSs.

Comparison of encirclage and cryotherapy with argon laser in the management of traumatic cyclodialysis cleft

The study compared anatomical and functional outcome of a novel technique of encirclage and cryotherapy with the conventional argon laser in the management of traumatic cyclodialysis cleft in 19 patients(10: encirclage and 9: argon laser). The postoperative anatomical success was taken as rise in intraocular pressure(IOP) more than 6 mm Hg or the closure of cleft on gonioscopy or ultrasound biomicroscopy(UBM). Visual outcome was measured as change in logMAr visual acuity. Traumatic cataract and hypotony were present in majority. IOP>6 mm Hg was noted in 90% of encirclage group and in 77.70% of argon laser group. Two cases had non-closure of cleft. Encirclage is comparable to argon laser in terms of anatomical and functional success with possible advantage of single procedure and use in cases with failed laser.

This paper aims to develop a new microemul- sions system comprising diesel and palm oil methyl ester （PME） that have the potential to be used as alternative fuels for diesel engines. The water-in-diesel-biodiesel micro- emulsions were prepared by applying PME mixed with diesel, non-ionic surfactants, co-surfaetants and water to make the water-in-oil （W/O） microemulsion system. This microemulsified fuel was achieved through low-energy microemulsification by using the constant composition method. The diesel used was mixed with four different concentrations of PME, i.e., 10% （w/w）（B10）, 20% （w/w）（B20）, 30% （w/w）（B30） and neat diesel （B0）. The amount of water was fixed at 20% （w/w）. The phase behavior of the water/mixed non-ionic surfactant/diesel-PME system were studied by constructing pseudoternary phase diagrams with the goal of formulating optimized systems. The results showed that the microemulsions were formed and stabilized with a mixture of non-ionic surfactants at a weight ratio of 80：20 at 20% （w/w）, and with mixed co-surfactants at a weight ratio of 25：75, 20：80 and 10：90 for B0, B10, B20 and B30 respectively. The particle size, kinematic viscosity at 40℃, refractive index, density, heating value, cloud point, pour pointand flash point of the selected water-in-diesel microemulsion were 19.40 nm （polydispersity of 0.012）, 12.86mm^2/s, 1.435, 0.8913g/mL, 31.87MJ/kg, 7.15℃, 10.5℃ and 46.5℃ respectively. The corresponding values of the water-in-diesel@ME selected were 20.72nm to 23.74nm, 13.02mme/s to 13.29mmZ/s, 1.442, 0.8939g/mL to 0.8990g/mL, 31.45MJ/kg to 27.34 MJ/kg, 7.2℃ to 6.8℃, 8.5℃ to 1.5℃ and 47.5℃ to 52.0℃. These preliminary findings were further studied as potential fuels for diesel engines.

This paper presents the predictive models for biped robot trajectory *** models are parametrizing as a continuous function of joint angle *** a previous work,the authors had collected the human locomotion dataset at raman Lab,MNIT,Jaipur,*** MNIT gait dataset consists of walking data on a plane surface of 120 human subjects from different age groups and ***-two machine learning models(linear,support vector,k-nearest neighbor,ensemble,probabilistic,and deep learning)trained using the collected *** addition,two types of mapping,(a)one-to-one and(b)many-to-one,are presented for each *** mapping models act as a reference policy for the control of joints and prediction of state for the next time instant in advance if the onboard sensor *** show that the deep learning and probabilistic learning models perform better for both types of ***,the probabilistic model outperforms the deep learning-based models in terms of maximum error,because the probabilistic model effectively deals with the prediction *** addition,many-to-one outperforms the one-to-one mapping because it captures the correlation between knee,hip,and ankle ***,this study suggests a many-to-one mapping using the probabilistic model for biped robot trajectory generation.
