One of the buzzwords in the Information Technology is Internet of Things (IoT). The future is Internet of Things, which will transform the real world objects into intelligent virtual objects. The IoT aims to unify everything in our world under a common infrastructure, giving us not only control of things around us, but also keeping us informed of the state of the things. In Light of this, present study addresses IoT concepts through systematic review of scholarly research papers, corporate white papers, professional discussions with experts and online databases. Moreover this research article focuses on definitions, geneses, basic requirements, characteristics and aliases of Internet of Things. The main objective of this paper is to provide an overview of Internet of Things, architectures, and vital technologies and their usages in our daily life. However, this manuscript will give good comprehension for the new researchers, who want to do research in this field of Internet of Things (Technological GOD) and facilitate knowledge accumulation in efficiently.

The present investigation studies the peristaltic flow of the Jeffrey fluid through a tube of finite length. The fluid is electrically conducting in the presence of an applied magnetic field. Analysis is carried out under the assumption of long wavelength and low reynolds number approximations. Expressions of the pressure gradient, volume flow rate, average volume flow rate, and local wall shear stress are obtained. The effects of relaxation time, retardation time, Hartman number on pressure, local wall shear stress, and mechanical efficiency of peristaltic pump are studied. The reflux phenomenon is also investigated. The case of propagation of a non-integral number of waves along the tube walls, which are inherent characteristics of finite length vessels, is also examined.

Portal vein thrombosis(PVT) is encountered in livercirrhosis, particularly in advanced disease. It has been a feared complication of cirrhosis, attributed to significant worsening of liver disease, poorer clinical outcomes and potential inoperability at liver transplantation; also catastrophic events such as acute intestinal ischaemia. Optimal management of PVT has not yet been addressed in any consensus *** review current literature on PVT in cirrhosis; its prevalence, pathophysiology, diagnosis, impact on the natural history of cirrhosis and liver transplantation,and management. Studies were identified by a search strategy using MEDLINE and Google Scholar. The incidence of PVT increases with increasing severity of liver disease: less than 1% in well-compensated cirrhosis, 7.4%-16% in advanced cirrhosis. Prevalence in patients undergoing liver transplantation is 5%-16%.PVT frequently regresses instead of uniform thrombus progression. PVT is not associated with increased risk of mortality. Optimal management has not been addressed in any consensus publication. We propose areas for future research to address unresolved clinical questions.

Background:In tropical dry forests,variation in understory light availability due to season and canopy tree density could be a governing factor in establishment and growth of tree *** with varying life history traits are expected to respond differentially to such *** investigated the response of seedlings of four tree species in a tropical day forest in relation to spatiotemporal variability of *** attempt to explore the role of leaf attributes in explaining intra-and inter-specific variations in relative growth *** study sites,each with three contrasting canopy conditions,were selected along a soil moisture *** of four tree species(viz.,Acacia catechu,Bridelia retusa,Lagerstroemia parviflora,and Shorea robusta),varying in life history traits,were monitored for seasonal variations in growth traits across canopy condition and sites for 2 ***:We observed a larger variation in leaf attributes for pioneer *** showed highest mean values for leaf dry matter content,leaf nitrogen concentration,leaf phosphorus concentration,net stomatal conductance,net photosynthetic rate,and relative growth rate in high light *** and *** demonstrated highest mean values for all the leaf attributes(except leaf dry matter content)in low light ***,intermediate values for leaf attributes were observed in *** which preferred moderate light ***:Seasonal variations in light availability at the forest floor appear to play an important role in the establishment and growth of tree seedlings in seasonal dry *** attributes can be used to explain intra-and inter-specific variation in response to light *** attributes in combinations can be used to predict relative growth rate of tree species in tropical dry environment,which apart from soil moisture is also determined by light availability due to seasonal changes and canopy tree density.

Functional structure and diversity of soil free-living nematodes in a desert environment depend on plant gender and sampling *** objective of this study was to compare the composition,abundance and tropic group of soil free-living nematodes in the upper 0–10 cm soil layer under the male and female Acanthosicyos horridus *** *** and in the inter-shrub open areas(control)in the Namib Desert,Namibia in April *** moisture,organic matter(OM)and pH was also ***-living nematodes were extracted from 100 g soil using the Baermann funnel procedure,and total number of nematodes was counted under a *** composition and diversity of soil free-living nematodes were analyzed using 18S rDNA *** indicated that a total of 67 groups,including 64 species,2 genera and 1 family were *** behavior of 58 species were identified as follows:15 bacteria-feeding species,12 fungi-feeding species,10 plant-parasite species,5 omnivorous-predator species,8 animal-parasite species,5 invertebrate-parasite species and 3 non-free-living nematodes,known as marine ***,soil free-living nematodes were found to be affected by sampling locations and plant gender,and community composition and density of these nematodes were strongly influenced by soil OM *** confirmed that spatial location and plant cover were main factors influencing the diversity of soil free-living ***,molecular tools were found to be very useful in defining the richness of soil non-free-living *** conclusion,the results elucidated the importance of biotic variables in determining the composition and abundance of soil free-living nematodes in the Namib Desert,Namibia.

Influence of Musa Sapientum L. on Pharmacokinetic of Metformin in Diabetic Gastroparesis

Objective： To investigate the effect of Musa sapientum L. （MS） bark juice in diabetic gastroparesis and its effect on pharrnacokinetic of metformin （MET）. Methods： Diabetes was induced in rats by administering alloxan （120 mg/kg） saline solution and maintained for 8 week. All the 18 Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into three groups （n=6 in each group）： normal control, diabetic control and MS bark juice. Assessment of diabetes was done by glucose oxidase-peroxidase method on the 3rd day of alloxan administration. The effects of MS bark juice （100 mL/kg） on gastric emptying time, intestinal transit time, contractility of fundus and pylorus as well as gastdc acid secretion in chronic diabetic rats were observed after 8 weeks of aUoxan administration. The effect of MS bark juice on the pharmacokinetic of orally administered single dose of MET （350 mg/kg） was evaluated on the 57th day of protocol. Any drugs that may reduce the blood glucose level or influence the fibrinolytic system were not used in this study. results： The MS bark juice significantly reduced the blood glucose level in the diabetic rats （P〈0.01）. There was significant decrease in the pylorus motility and increase in the gastric emptying time, intestinal transit time, contractility of fundus, gastric acid secretion in the MS bark juice treated group （P〈0.01）. There was significant decrease in the time at which drug at a maximum concentration, haft life of drug and increase in the maximum concentration of drug in the plasma of MET in MS bark juice treated group as compared to diabetic control group （P〈0.01）. Conclusion： MS bark juice effectively manages diabetic gastroparesis and thereby improves the bioavailabilty of MET when administered with MS bark iuice.
