A series of magnesia doped CuOxCeO_(2-δ)catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation followed by impregnation method and investigated for CO *** manuscript is devoted to explaining the role of MgO for the formation of active species on the CuOxCeO_(2-δ)*** improvement in catalytic activity is ascribed to the formation of various active species due to the interaction of magnesia with CuOxCeO_(2-δ).The catalysts were characterized by PXrD,N_(2)adsorption,H_(2)-TPr,XPS,SEM,EDS and HrTEM *** Mg doped catalyst shows lattice expansion of ceria due to the formation of smaller Ce^(3+)species with oxygen *** Mg-O bond also takes part in CO activation and oxidation,which results in the increase of CO *** Mg doped CuOxCeO_(2-δ)catalyst shows improvement in low temperature activity compared with the CuOxCeO_(2-δ).

This article presents a mathematical model addressing a scenario involving a hybrid nanofluid flow between two infinite parallel plates. One plate remains stationary, while the other moves downward at a squeezing velocity. The space between these plates contains a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. A mixture of water-based fluid with gold(Au) and silicon dioxide(Si O2) nanoparticles is formulated. In contrast to the conventional Fourier's heat flux equation, this study employs the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux equation. A uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the flow direction, invoking magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) effects. Further, the model accounts for Joule heating, which is the heat generated when an electric current passes through the fluid. The problem is solved via NDSolve in MATHEMATICA. Numerical and statistical analyses are conducted to provide insights into the behavior of the nanomaterials between the parallel plates with respect to the flow, energy transport, and skin *** findings of this study have potential applications in enhancing cooling systems and optimizing thermal management strategies. It is observed that the squeezing motion generates additional pressure gradients within the fluid, which enhances the flow rate but reduces the frictional drag. Consequently, the fluid is pushed more vigorously between the plates, increasing the flow velocity. As the fluid experiences higher flow rates due to the increased squeezing effect, it spends less time in the region between the plates. The thermal relaxation, however, abruptly changes the temperature, leading to a decrease in the temperature fluctuations.

The interaction between a two-level atom and a single-mode field in the k-photon Jaynes-Cummings model （JCM） in the presence of the Stark shift and a kerr medium is studied. All terms in the Hamiltonian, such as the single-mode field, its interaction with the atom, the contribution of the Stark shift and the kerr medium effects are considered to be f-deformed. In particular, the effect of the initial state of the radiation field on the dynamical evolution of some physical properties such as atomic inversion and entropy squeezing are investigated by considering different initial field states （coherent, squeezed and thermal states）.

In this paper, a multi-view gait based human recognition system using the fusion of two kinds of features is *** use cross wavelet transform to extract dynamic feature and bipartite graph model to extract static feature which are coefficients of quadrature mirror filter(QMF)-graph wavelet filter bank. Feature fusion is done after normalization. For normalization of features, min-max rule is used and mean-variance method is used to find weights for normalized features. Euclidean distance between each feature vector and center of the cluster which is obtained by k-means clustering is used as similarity measure in Bayesian framework. Experiments performed on widely used CASIA B gait database show that, the fusion of these two feature sets preserve discriminant information. We report 99.90 % average recognition rate.

Polymer nanocrystal composites were fabricated by embedding polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with k0.5Na0.5NbO3 (kNN) nanocrystallites of different volume fraction using the hot-pressing *** comparison,PVDF-kNN microcrystal composites of the same compositions were also fabricated which facilitated the studies of the crystallite size (wide range) effect on the dielectric and piezoelectric *** structural,morphological,dielectric,and piezoelectric properties of these nano and micro crystal composites were *** incorporation of kNN fillers in PVDF at both nanometer and micron scales above 10 vol％ resulted in the formation of polar β-form of *** room temperature dielectric constant as high as 3273 at 100 Hz was obtained for the PVDF comprising 40 vol％ kNN nanocrystallites due to dipole-dipole interactions (as the presence of β-PVDF is prominent),whereas it was only 236 for the PVDF containing the same amount (40 vol％) of micron-sized crystallites of kNN at the same *** theoretical models were employed to predict the dielectric constants of the PVDF-kNN nano and micro crystal *** PVDF comprising 70 vol％ micron-sized crystallites of kNN exhibited a d33 value of 35 pC/N,while the nanocrystal composites of PVDF-kNN did not exhibit any piezoelectric response perhaps due to the unrelieved internal stress within each grain,besides the fact that they have less domain walls.

If the heart attack occurswithout any symptoms, it cannot be cured by an intelligent detection *** effective diagnosis and detection of CHD should prevent human ***, intelligent systems employ clinical-based decision support approachesto assist physicians in providing another option for diagnosing and detecting *** paper aims to introduce a heart disease prediction model including phaseslike (i) Feature extraction, (ii) Feature selection, and (iii) Classification. At first,the feature extraction process is carried out, where the features like a time-domainindex, frequency-domain index, geometrical domain features, nonlinear features,WT features, signal energy, skewness, entropy, kurtosis features are extractedfrom the input ECG signal. The curse of dimensionality becomes a severe *** paper provides the solution for this issue by introducing a new ModifiedPrincipal Component Analysis known as Multiple kernel-based PCA for dimensionality reduction. Furthermore, the dimensionally reduced feature set is thensubjected to a classification process, where the hybrid classifier combining bothrecurrent Neural Network (rNN) and restricted Boltzmann Machine (rBM)is used. At last, the performance analysis of the adopted scheme is compared overother existing schemes in terms of specific measures.

In this paper, the basic equations governing the flow and heat transfer of an incompressible viscous and electrically conducting fluid past a semi-infinite vertical per- meable plate in the form of partial differential equations are reduced to a set of non-linear ordinary differential equations by applying a suitable similarity transformation. Approx- imate solutions of the transformed equations are obtained by employing the perturbation method for two cases, i.e., small and large values of the suction parameter. From the numerical evaluations of the solution, it can be seen that the velocity field at any point decreases as the values of the magnetic and suction parameters increase. The effect of the magnetic parameter is to increase the thermM boundary layer. It is also found that the velocity and temperature fields decrease with the increase in the sink parameter.
