Food Waste(FW)is a pr.ssing envir.nmental concer. that affects ever. countr. *** one-thir. of the food that is pr.duced ends up as waste,contr.buting to the car.on ***,the FW must be pr.per.y tr.ated to r.duce envir.nmental *** study evaluates a few available Food Waste Tr.atment(FWT)technologies,such as anaer.bic digestion,composting,landfill,and inciner.tion,which ar. widely used.A Bipolar.Pictur. In the pr.sent wor., the sur.ace char.cter.stics of Electr.cal Dischar.e Machined (EDM) Al (6351)eSiC and Al (6351)eSiCeB4C composites ar. investigated. The composites ar. pr.par.d by employing the conventional stir.casting technique, as it can pr.duce better.par.icle disper.ion in the matr.x. The detailed exper.mental study is per.or.ed on the composites by var.ing cur.ent (I), duty factor.(t), pulse on time (Ton), and the gap voltage (V) in or.er.to analyze the Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) for.ed in the sub sur.ace and the aver.ge cr.ter.diameter.for.ed on the machined sur.ace of the composites as an output function. The for.ation of r.cast layer., pr.sence of bubbles and the sur.ace textur. of the composites at var.ous machining conditions ar. obser.ed. The r.sults show that the incr.ased Metal r.moval r.te (Mr.) incr.ases the depth of HAZ and the aver.ge cr.ter.diameter.on the machined ar.a. Fur.her. the addition of B4C par.icles to the composite pr.duces mor. sur.ace defect than the AleSiC composite.
