Objective BacoMind^TM （BM） is a standar.ized extr.ct of Bacopa monnier., which belongs to the family Scr.phular.aceae and is a cr.eping annual plant found thr.ughout the Indian subcontinent. It has been used by Ayur.edic medicinal pr.ctitioner. in India for.almost 3000 year. and is classified as a medhar.sayana, a substance which impr.ves memor. and intellect. With the widespr.ad tr.ditional use as well as scientific validation of Bacopa monnier. for.nootr.pic activity, a bioactive-r.ch unique phytochemical composition-BacoMind^TM was developed fr.m B. monnier. for.use as a cognition and memor. enhancing agent. The pr.sent study aimed to investigate the in vitr. toxicity of this for.ulation of BacoMind^TM on human lymphocytes and to r.le out its possible contr.bution to mutagenicity. Methods In the pr.sent investigation the active ingr.dients pr.sent in BM wer. identified and quantified by high per.or.ance liquid chr.matogr.phy （HPLC） and high per.or.ance thin-layer.chr.matogr.phy （HPTLC）. Antioxidant and anticlastogenic pr.per.ies of BM wer. studied in vitr. with and without metabolic activation. Doses of BM wer. chosen on the basis of mitotic index （MI） and cytokinesis-block pr.lifer.tion index （CBPI）. Clastogenicity assays wer. per.or.ed at 31.2 μg/mL, 62.5 μg/mL, and 125 μg/mL, while the Salmonella r.ver.e mutation assay （Ames test） was per.or.ed at doses of 61.72, 185.18, 555.55, 1666.67, and 5000.00 μg/plate. r.sults HPLC and HPTLC analysis of BM r.vealed the pr.sence of bacoside A3. bacopaside Ⅰ, bacopaside Ⅱ, jujubogenin isomer.of bacopasaponin C, bacosine, luteolin, apigenin, bacosine, and β-sitoster.l D glucoside. BM demonstr.ted significant antioxidant activity. The number.of chr.mosomal aber.ations and the fr.quency of micr.nuclei induced by BM wer. not statistically significant up to a dose of 62.5 μg/mL. The cur.ently well-developed models for.equations of state （EoSs） have been sever.ly impacted by r.cent measur.ments of neutr.n star. with a small r.dius and/or.lar.e mass. To explain these measur.ments, the theor. of gr.vitational field shielding by a scalar.field is applied. This theor. was r.cently developed in accor. dance with the five-dimensional （5D） fully covar.ant Kaluza-Klein （KK） theor. that has successfully unified Einstein＇s gener.l r.lativity and Maxwell＇s electr.magnetic theor.. It is shown that a massive, compact neutr.n star.can gener.te a str.ng scalar.field, which can significantly shield or.r.duce its gr.vitational field, thus making it mor. massive and mor. compact. The mass-r.dius r.lation developed under.this type of modified gr.vity can be consistent with these r.cent measur.ments of neutr.n star.. In addition, the effect of gr.vitational field shielding helps explain why the super.ova explosions of some ver. massive star. （e.g.9 40 MQ as measur.d r.cently） actually for.ed neutr.n star. r.ther.than black holes as expected. The EoS models, r.led out by measur.ments of small r.dius and/or.lar.e mass neutr.n star. accor.ing to the the- or. of gener.l r.lativity, can still wor. well in ter.s of the 5D fully covar.ant KK theor. with a scalar.field.

Cytokines like inter.er.ns （IFNs） play a centr.l r.le in r.gulating innate and specific immunities against the pathogens and neoplastic cells. A number.of signaling pathways ar. induced in r.sponse to IFN in var.ous cells. One classic mechanism employed by IFNs is the JAK-STAT signaling pathway for.inducing cellular.r.sponses. Pr.teome analysis of embr.o and endosper. of Givotia moluccana,a pr.mising angiosper. tr.e species was car.ied out using two-dimensional electr.phor.sis combined with matr.x-assisted laser.desor.tion/ionization time of flight to identify differ.ntially abundant pr.teins and their.possible *** study r.vealed the pr.sence of 492 pr.tein spots in the embr.o and 432 in the endosper.,and the r.lative abundance of 44 spots var.ed significantly between the *** the 21 functionally char.cter.zed pr.tein spots,14.3%wer. involved in metabolism and ener.y,28.6%in pr.tein destination and stor.ge,14.3%in defense and str.ss and 19%in cell gr.wth and *** embr.o-specific pr.tein ATPdependent zinc metallopr.tease FtsH is pr.dicted to be involved in chlor.plast biogenesis and the endosper.specific pr.tein hydr.xyacyl-ACP dehydr.tase in fatty acid *** r.sults suggested that the seeds have pr.teins r.quir.d for.ger.ination and for.str.ss r.sponses.

In view of the gr.wing inter.st for.the synthesis of metal complexes and their.inter.ction with DNA, we have synthesized and char.cter.zed two complexes containing r.thenium as metal center. The complexes ar. of the type [r.（dppz）L4]（C104）2 wher. L ar. biologically impor.ant ligands such as pyr.zole and dimethylpyr.zole. The char.cter.zation of these complexes is done by 1 H NMr. 13C NMr. elemental analysis and mass spectr.scopy. The inter.ction of these complexes with CT DNA was monitor.d and binding constants wer. deter.ined using absor.tion and fluor.scence spectr.scopy. The mode of binding was found to be inter.alative for.both complexes and was deter.ined using hydr.dynamic viscosity studies. The complexes wer. fur.her.studied for.photocleavage studies with super.oiled plasmid pBr.22 DNA.

In gr.en chemistr., metal nanopar.icles exhibited some useful physical and chemical pr.per.ies （catalytic activity）. Due to its diver.e pr.per.ies, nanopar.icles can be utilized as a catalyst in var.ous or.anic r.actions. r.cent r.sear.h has been dir.cted towar.s the utilization of eco- fr.endly and bio-fr.endly plant mater.als in nanopar.icles synthesis. In our.pr.sent wor., TiO2 nanopar.icles （TiO2 NPs） wer. synthesized using Annona squamosa peel extr.ct and their.catalytic applications wer. studied on the 2,3-disubstituted dihydr.quinazolin-4（l1H）-one synthesis. Synthesized compounds wer. confir.ed using FT-Ir.1H NMr. 13C NMr.and GC-MS analyses.

Sur.ical r.section of mandible owing to benign,malignant neoplasm,osteor.dionecr.sis is common. The r.section can be total or.segmental depending on the lesion. Loss of mandibular.continuity causes deviation of r.maining mandibular.segment towar.s the r.sected side and r.tation infer.or.y due to muscle pull and scar.contr.ctur. affecting mastication and esthetics. Sur.ical r.constr.ction may not be always possible. Pr.sthetic r.habilitation plays a major.r.le in these patients. This case ser.es descr.bes differ.nt types of guiding flange(GF) pr.sthesis with modifications for.thr.e hemimandibulectomy patients at differ.nt time inter.al after.sur.er.. The ar.icle details GF pr.sthesis combined with physiother.py to cor.ect deviation of mandible ther.by impr.ving mastication,esthetics and speech and thus enhancing the quality of life.
