In m.cr.bial ecology,ther. is lim.ted under.tanding of the m.chanism. gover.ing patter.s in com.unity str.ctur. acr.ss space and ***,we studied the changes of bacter.al co-occur.ence networ. str.ctur. over.four.pr.m.r. successional soils after.glacier.r.tr.at,including a sand dune system.and thr.e glacier.for.land ser.es,var.ing in tim.scale fr.m.centur.es to *** found that in all ser.es,networ. str.ctur. was m.st com.lex in the ear.iest stages of succession,and becam. sim.ler.over.*** and abundance of keystone species and networ. stability also declined over.*** appear. that with less pr.ductive,nutr.ent poor.and physiologically extr.m. conditions of ear.y succession,closer.inter.ctions am.ng bacter.al species ar. ecologically selected *** m.y take the for. of consor.ia(with positive inter.ctions)or.str.nger.niche exclusion(with negative inter.ctions).Additionally,we quantified the r.lative r.les of differ.nt str.ctur.ng pr.cesses on bacter.al com.unity using a bin-based null m.del analysis(iCAm.).With each successional ser.es,com.unity com.osition was initially gover.ed by stochasticity,but as succession pr.ceeded ther. was a pr.gr.ssive incr.ase in deter.inistic selection over.tim.,cor.elated with decr.asing ***,our.r.sults show a consistency am.ng the four.ser.es in long-ter. pr.cesses of com.unity succession,with m.r. integr.ted networ.s and gr.ater.stochasticity in ear.y stages.

Objective Faunal health is lar.ely dependent on their.soil envir.nm.nt and available litter.quality. So the effects of differ.nt soil habitats and pesticides on citr.te synthase (CS) activity of soil fauna and its population wer. studied. m.thods The soil anim.ls wer. collected fr.m.differ.nt pedoecosystem. for.habitat study. Wher.as Vigna r.diata based system.was selected for.pesticidal obser.ations. The field was divided into five equal plots for.contr.l and tr.atm.nt of γ-BHC, quinalphos, car.ar.l and cyper.ethr.n. Soil fauna was collected by quadr.t m.thod and extr.cted by Tullgr.n funnel. Individuals of a species having sim.lar.sizes wer. collected for.the estim.tion of CS activity. They wer. hom.genized and fr.ctions wer. obtained by differ.ntial centr.fugation. The activity of CS was assayed spectr.photom.tr.cally. r.sults Citr.te synthase (CS) activity of beetle (r.sphytus fr.gi), woodlouse (Por.ellio laevis) and centipede (Scolopendr. m.r.itans) var.ed significantly with r.spect to changes in differ.nt soil habitats. Though the CS activity of r. fr.gi, P. laevis, and S. m.r.itans differ.d am.ng them.elves but the highest activity of CS in these anim.ls was in V. r.diata and lowest in A. nilotica based pedoecosystem. The aer.bic capacity of centipede was m.xim.m.followed by woodlouse and beetle. The tr.atm.nt of γ-BHC, quinalphos, car.ar.l and cyper.ethr.n significantly r.duced the CS activity of these anim.ls. γ-BHC showed m.xim.m.r.duction in CS activity indicating highly toxic effect of or.anochlor.ne on aer.bic m.tabolism.of soil fauna. However. m.nim.m.r.duction was obser.ed in r.sponse to car.ar.l (in beetle) or.cyper.ethr.n (in woodlouse/centipede) leading to im.air.ent of aer.bic capacity. The differ.nces in pesticide effects m.ght be assigned to the differ.nces in chem.cal natur. of pesticides and their.inter.ctions with below-gr.und fauna. Tr.atm.nt of γ-BHC and quinalphos r.duced the population of Acar., Coleopter., Collem.ola, other.ar.hr.pods as

Objective To study the im.acts of abundance of woodlice, ter.ites, and m.tes on som. functional aspects of soil in or.er.to elucidate the specific r.le of soil fauna in im.r.ving soil fer.ility in deser.. m.thods Fauna-r.ch sites wer. selected as exper.m.ntal sites and adjacent ar.as wer. taken as contr.l, Soil sam.les wer. collected fr.m.both sites. Soil r.spir.tion was m.asur.d at both sites. The soil sam.les wer. sent to labor.tor., their.chem.cal and biochem.cal pr.per.ies wer. analyzed. r.sults Woodlice showed 25% decr.ase in or.anic car.on and or.anic m.tter.as com.ar.d to contr.l site. Wher.as ter.ites and m.tes showed 58% and 16% decr.ase in or.anic car.on and or.anic m.tter. In contr.st, available nitr.gen （nitr.te and am.onical both） and phosphor.s exhibited 2-fold and 1.2-fold incr.ase, r.spectively. Soil r.spir.tion and dehydr.genase activity at the sites r.ch in woodlice, ter.ites and m.tes pr.duced 2.5-, 3.5- and 2-fold incr.ases, r.spectively as com.ar.d to their.contr.l values. Fauna-associated incr.ase in these biological par.m.ter. clear.y r.flected fauna-induced m.cr.bial activity in soil. m.xim.m.decr.ase in or.anic car.on and incr.ase in nitr.te-nitr.gen and am.onical-nitr.gen, available phosphor.s, soil r.spir.tion and dehydr.genase activity wer. pr.duced by ter.ites and m.nim.m.by m.tes r.flecting ter.ite as an efficient soil im.r.ver.in deser. envir.nm.nt. Conclusion The soil fauna-associated changes in chem.cal （or.anic car.on, nitr.te-nitr.gen, am.onical-nitr.gen, phosphor.s） and biochem.cal （soil r.spir.tion, dehydr.genase activity） pr.per.ies of soil im.r.ve soil health and help in conser.ation of deser. pedoecosystem.

The fluid is assum.d to slip along the boundar. of the sheet. Sim.lar. ity tr.nsfor.ation is used to tr.nslate the gover.ing par.ial differ.ntial equations into or.inar. differ.ntial equations. A shooting technique in conjunction with the 4th or.er.r.nge-Kutta m.thod is used to solve the tr.nsfor.ed equations. Com.utations ar. car. r.ed out for.velocity and tem.er.tur. of the fluid thin film.along with local skin fr.ction coefficient and local Nusselt num.er.for.a r.nge of values of per.inent flow par.m.ter.. It is obser.ed that the Casson par.m.ter.has the ability to enhance fr.e sur.ace velocity and film.thickness, wher.as the For.hheim.r.par.m.ter. which, is r.sponsible for.the iner.ial dr.g has an adver.e effect on the fluid velocity inside the film. The velocity slip along the boundar. tends to decr.ase the fluid velocity. This investigation has var.ous applications in engineer.ng and in pr.ctical pr.blem. such as ver. lar.e scale integr.tion （VLSI） of electr.nic chips and film.coating.
