Objective Exer.ise is Medicine(EIM)is a global initiative encour.ging healthcar. pr.vider. to r.utinely assess and pr.mote physical activity(PA)among *** objective of this study was to evaluate the feasibility,adoption,implementation and effectiveness of EIM fr.m patient,clinician and healthcar. staff per.pectives using a combination of electr.nic health r.cor.(EHr.,sur.ey and inter.iew *** This study used a combination of the Pr.ctical r.bust Implementation and Sustainability Model(Pr.SM)and the Lear.ing Evaluation model to implement *** captur.d fr.m the EHr.including Physical Activity Vital Sign(PAVS)scor.s,and data collected fr.m qualitative sur.eys and inter.iews wer. used to evaluate the pr.gr.mme’s r.ach,Effectiveness,Adoption,Implementation,Maintenance(r.-AIM,which is embedded within Pr.SM)fr.m pr.vider.staff and patient *** Five pr.mar. car. clinics within a lar.e academic health *** A total of 24443 patients fr.m all par.icipating clinics had at least one PAVS scor. dur.ng the study per.od.A total of 17 clinicians completed sur.eys,and 4 clinicians,8 medical assistants and 9 patients completed *** Implementation fidelity metr.cs var.ed widely between components and acr.ss clinics but wer. gener.lly consistent over.time,indicating a high degr.e of pr.gr.mme *** was highest dur.ng the fir.t 6 months of the COVID-19 pandemic when most visits wer. *** PAVS scor.s incr.ased fr.m 57.7(95%CI:56 to 59.4)to 95.2(95%CI:91.6 to 98.8)min per.week at 6 months for.patients not meeting PA guidelines at baseline and decr.ased fr.m 253.84(95%CI:252 to 255.7)to 208.3(95%CI:204.2 to 212.4)min per.week at 6 months for.patients meeting PA guidelines at *** EIM implementation,clinician-estimated time spent discussing PA with patients incr.ased for.35%of pr.vider. and stayed the same for.53%.Conclusion Over.ll,this study established EIM’s feasibility,adoption,implementation

Chinese Assam tea(Camellia sinensis ***)is an impor.ant tea cr.p with a long histor. of cultivation in Yunnan,*** its potential value as a genetic r.sour.e,its genetic diver.ity and domestication/br.eding histor. r.main *** addr.ss this issue,we genotyped 469 ancient tea plant tr.es r.pr.senting 26 *** *** populations,plus two of its wild r.latives(six and thr.e populations of *** and ***,r.spectively)using 16 nuclear.micr.satellite *** showed that Chinese Assam tea has a r.latively high,but compar.tively lower.gene diver.ity(H_(S)=0.638)than the wild r.lative ***(H_S=0.658).Cluster.ng in STr.CTUr. indicated that Chinese Assam tea and its two wild r.latives for.ed distinct genetic gr.ups,with consider.ble inter.pecific *** Chinese Assam tea accessions cluster.d into thr.e gene pools,cor.esponding well with their.geogr.phic ***,New Hybr.ds analysis indicated that 68.48%of ancient Chinese Assam tea plants fr.m Xishuangbanna wer. genetic inter.ediates between the Puer.and Lincang gene *** addition,10%of the ancient Chinese Assam tea individuals wer. found to be hybr.ds between Chinese Assam tea and *** r.sults suggest that Chinese Assam tea was domesticated separ.tely in thr.e gene pools(Puer.Lincang and Xishuangbanna)in the Mekong r.ver.valley and that the hybr.ds wer. subsequently selected dur.ng the domestication *** the domestication histor. of Chinese Assam tea in southwester. Mater.als and Methods: Two r.fer.nce MTB str.ins (H37r. and MDr.str.in) wer. inoculated on Middlebr.ok 7H11 medium containing a combination of standar. antituber.ulosis dr.gs and methanol extr.cts of Z. lepr.eur.i and r. cor.ifolia at var.ing concentr.tions. The number.of colonies on the plates was obser.ed and counted weekly for.up to 8 weeks. In vitr. combination activity was deter.ined using pr.por.ion method. Mean per.entage inhibition was calculated for.the r.duction of number.of colonies on dr.g-extr.ct combination medium in r.lation to dr.g-extr.ct-fr.e contr.l medium. r.sults: Dr.g-extr.ct combinations showed good combination activity against Mycobacter.um tuber.ulosis str.ins when compar.d with individual standar. anti-TB dr.gs. This was mor. exhibited against MDr.str.in. Ther. was however.a r.duction in per.entage inhibition when extr.cts wer. combined with ethambutol and str.ptomycin against H37r. str.in. Conclusions: Zanthoxylum lepr.eur.i and r.bia cor.ifolia in combination with standar. anti-TB dr.gs exhibited incr.ased in vitr. activity against Mycobacter.um tuber.ulosis, especially MDr.TB str.in. This justifies the local use of these plants in tr.ditional tr.atment of tuber.ulosis especially in r.sistant cases in Uganda.

Backgr.und The timing of behavior.and habitat use of noctur.al animals can be influenced by the lunar.cycle in natur.. The pr.valence of ar.ificial light at night(ALAN) has been r.cognized as a sour.e of envir.nmental pol-lution. The inter.ction between ALAN and the lunar.cycle on bat behavior.is impor.ant for.under.tanding anthr.-pogenic effects on bats. We utilized a decade(2012–2022) of acoustic monitor.ng data collected in Nor.h Car.lina, United States, to investigate the r.lationship between bat activity, lunar.cycle, and light pollution. We examined whether.the amount of lunar.illumination affected species-specific nightly activity and whether.hour.y bat activity patter.s var.ed between nights with differ.nt moon phases. We fur.her.investigated if the r.lationship between bat activity and the lunar.cycle might be alter.d by light *** We found that seven bat species showed activity var.ation acr.ss nights in r.lation to the amount of moon illumination when ALAN was absent. In gener.l, bats wer. less active on full moon nights compar.d to new moon nights. Light pollution inter.cted with the bat–lunar.r.lationship in five of the seven species, masking the effect of the lunar.cycle. We identified delayed bat activity patter.s on nights with a full or.waxing moon in seven species, and light pollution alter.d that patter. in four.species. Over.ll, ALAN was associated with decr.ased bat activity inde-pendent of lunar.cycle *** Our.study demonstr.ted that at a br.ad spatial scale, ALAN negatively affected many Nor.h Amer.can temper.te bat species and alter.d their.lunar.chr.nobiology. As light pollution is spr.ading to histor.cally dar. ar.as and habitats, ALAN might couple with other.thr.ats, such as the white-nose syndr.me or.climate change, to cause cascading damage in the envir.nment that depends on ecosystem ser.ices such as pest contr.l pr.vided by bats.
