New species of Tsaidamotherium(Bovidae,Artiodactyla) from China sheds new light on the skull morphology and systematics of the genus

A new species of Tsaidamotherium(Bovidae,Artiodactyla),***,described here represents only the second discovery of the *** is a mid-sized late Miocene bovid with an odd-looking plate-like horn-core apparatus so far known only from northwestern *** holotype of *** is a cranial part of skull from the Liushu Formation(late Miocene)of the Linxia *** new species differs from the type species,***,mainly in horn-core morphology,having the frontal horn-cores proper much smaller and less distinctly separated from the plate-shaped posterior ***,the new species has smaller frontal sinuses,but a thicker layer of compact bone beneath the horn-core apparatus as seen in frontal section.A complete skull with a smaller horn-core apparatus is considered to represent a female individual of *** facial part of the skull,which is first known for this genus,is very short and high,with a high nasal cavity,strongly retracted nasals,and shortened premaxillae and premolar *** this probably suggests that the animal with an enlarged nasal cavity,like the modern Saiga and Budorcas,may have had a special adaptation to the high plateau environment.

目的:探讨标记奖励法结合精细化围术期干预对先天性胆总管囊肿患儿术后营养状态及胃肠功能恢复的影响。方法:选取2021年1月1日~2023年1月1日103例先天性胆总管囊肿患儿作为研究对象,采用随机数字表法分为观察组52例和对照组51例,对照组实施精细化围术期干预,观察组实施标记奖励法结合精细化围术期干预,比较两组患儿营养状态、胃肠功能恢复情况、并发症发生率、家属满意度、首次经口进食时间、住院时间、疼痛程度(采用Wong-Baker面部表情疼痛量表)、血气分析指标[包括动脉血氧分压(PaO_(2))、动脉血二氧化碳分压(PaCO_(2))]。结果:干预后,两组营养状态优于干预前(P0.05)。结论:标记奖励法结合精细化围术期干预,可改善先天性胆总管囊肿患儿营养状态,加快患儿胃肠功能恢复,降低术后并发症发生率,提高家属满意度,缩短住院时间。

Photocaged fluorophores with photoactivatable characteristics presented important applications in imaging the biological structures and *** advantage of their super-resolution imaging merits to manipulate and visualize anti-cancer treatment is always a goal of modern clinical *** photodynamic therapy(PDT) is a noninvasive treatment but limited in intracellular oxygen *** I PDT and photoacid therapy(PAT) are two effective supplements of traditional PDT especially in hypoxic ***,a novel white-light-driven fluorescence switch(7H-dibenzo[c,g]carbazol-7-yl)(2-iodophenyl)methanone(2IB) was designed and synthesized as an unprecedent “all in one” platform for stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy(STORM) imaging guided Type Ⅰ/Ⅱ PDT and *** experimental and theoretical studies revealed that the working mechanism is based on two competing paths under excitation:photosensitization and photocyclization *** intersystem crossing(ISC) ensured the generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS) for PDT,while low energy barrier facilitated the photocyclization reaction that simultaneously yielded emissive fluorophores(2IBC) and H^(+) for super-resolution imaging and photoacid,***,the fluorescent intensity of mitochondria-targeted 2IBC was positively correlated with treatment efficacy,which is beneficial to spatiotemporally visualized therapeutic process and *** a result,superior anti-tumor performance was achieved in vitro and in *** contribution provided a multifunctional nanodrug paradigm for multimode cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Terrestrial Mio-Pliocene Boundary in the Linxia Basin,Gansu,China

The Lower Pliocene of the Linxia Basin in Gansu Province is one of only a few representative sections for the Early Pliocene sedimentary records in northern China, and even in East Asia. Recently,abundant mammalian fossils were found from the base of red clays of the Lower Pliocene Hewangjia Formation at Duikang in Guanghe County within this basin. Previously, the Pliocene mammals were sparsely found in China, and most were collected from fluvial and lacustrine deposits in the eastern Loess Plateau. Mammals from the widely distributed Pliocene Hipparion Red Clay are less in *** known fossils from Duikang include 20 species and belong to the shilidun Fauna. Their faunal components are similar to the Early Pliocene Gaozhuang Fauna from Ynshe, Shanxi. On the other hand, some taxa from Duikang have not been found in the Gaozhuang Fauna, are slightly more primitive in evolutionary level, and appeared mainly in the Late Miocene. As a result, the age of the Duikang fossils may be slightly earlier than that of the Gaozhuang Fauna and closer to the lower boundary of the Piiocene. The Duikang fossiliferons bed is 0.8 m above the top of the Late Miocene Linshu Formation, and the first occurrence of the three-toed horse Hipparion pater can be regarded as a biostratigraphical marker of the Miocene/Pliocene boundary. In conclusion, Duikang is an ideal candidate locality to establish as the stratotype of the lower boundary of the Chinese terrestrial Pliocene.

哺乳动物牙齿微痕分析方法是一种通过分析牙齿表面微痕纹理,推测其可能食性的研究方法,广泛应用于哺乳动物食性判断和古环境重建等研究领域.牙齿微痕分析方法最初借助扫描电子显微镜拍照观察,到21世纪初发展出4种定量分析牙齿微痕特征的研究体系,通过不同的技术手段及参数选择,达到区分哺乳动物食性的目的.哺乳动物牙齿微痕分析方法不仅可以判断化石动物的食物来源,复原某一化石点的古环境和古生态,还可以分析气候事件与季节变化对哺乳动物食性的影响,或区分同一地点相近物种的食性生态位差异.尽管牙齿微痕分析方法的磨损物来源以及如何产生磨痕在理论上有待完善,但是随着越来越多的研究人员参与讨论,这一方法将得到更多的发展和应用.

Metabolic syndrome(Met S)is a chronic disease associated with the disturbance of gut microbiota *** derived from gut microbes play essential roles in Met S prevention and ***,we focused on the inhibitory effect of the extract of millet bran protein(EMBP)on a high-fat diet(HFD)-induced Met S,aiming to identify gut microbiota and their metabolites that involve in the anti-Met S activity of *** obesity,chronic inflammation,insulin resistance in Met S mouse models were abolished after EMBP *** protective mechanism of EMBP against HFD-induced Met S may depend on improved gut barrier *** microbiome analysis,we found that EMBP supplementation improved gut microbiome dysbiosis in Met S mice,specifically upregulating Bacteroides *** fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)also demonstrated this *** addition,metabolomic analysis showed that EMBP mediates metabolic profiling reprogramming in Met S ***,a microbiota-derived metabolite,gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA),is enriched by *** addition,exogenous GABA treatment produced a similar protective effect to EMBP by improving NRF2-dependent gut barrier function to protect HFDinduced Met *** results suggest that EMBP suppress host Met S by remodeling of gut microbiota as an effective candidate for next-generation medicine food dual purpose dietary supplement to intervene in MetS.

The node localization process of the traditional DV-Hop（Distance Vector-Hop） scheme is sensitive to the heterogeneity of network topology, and the robustness of the scheme is poor while the network topology is diversiform due to random node deployment. Aiming at such a problem, improved strategies are provided. In the distance estimation step, a strategy of searching the most similar anchor-anchor path to anchor-node path is proposed;in the position calculation step, a modified Quasi-Newton iterative algorithm is added after the initial position of an unknown node is derived using Lateration algorithm. Simulation shows that compared with the original method and an existed representative improved scheme, our improvement can obtain higher distance estimation accuracy at first, and then, it can improve the robustness of the localization algorithm to range error. Thereby, the improvement can effectively improve the average localization accuracy of the unknown nodes in the network.
