The problem of prescribed performance tracking control for unknown time-delay.nonlinear systems subject to output constraints is dealt with in this paper. In contrast with related works, only the most fundamental requirements, i.e., boundedness and the local Lipschitz condition, are assumed for the allowable time delays. Moreover, we focus on the case where the reference is unknown beforehand, which renders the standard prescribed performance control designs under output constraints infeasible. To conquer these challenges, a novel robust prescribed performance control approach is put forward in this ***, a reverse tuning function is skillfully constructed and automatically generates a performance envelop for the tracking error. In addition, a unified performance analysis framework based on proof by contradiction and the barrier function is established to reveal the inherent robustness of the control system against the time delays. It turns out that the system output tracks the reference with a preassigned settling time and good accuracy,without constraint violations. A comparative simulation on a two-stage chemical reactor is carried out to illustrate the above theoretical findings.

AIM:To assess the clinical efficacy and safety of combining panretinal photocoagulation(PRP)with intravitreal conbercept(IVC)injections for patients with high-risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy(HR-PDR)complicated by mild or moderate vitreous hemorrhage(VH),with or without diabetic macular edema(DME).METHODS:Patients diagnosed with VH with/without DME secondary to HR-PDR and received PRP combined with IVC injections were recruited in this retrospective *** establishing the patient’s diagnosis,an initial IVC was performed,followed by prompt administration of *** cases who significant bleeding persisted and impeded the laser operation,IVC was sustained before supplementing with *** the completion of PRP,patients were meticulously monitored for a minimum of six *** therapy and IVC injections were judiciously adjusted based on fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)*** effect and the incidence of adverse events were ***:Out of 42 patients(74 eyes),29 were male and 13 were female,with a mean age of 59.17±12.74y(33-84y).The diabetic history was between 1wk and 26y,and the interval between the onset of visual symptoms and diagnosis of HR-PDR was *** affected eye received 2.59±1.87(1-10)IVC injections and underwent 5.5±1.02(4-8)sessions of *** these,68 eyes received PRP following 1 IVC injection,5 eyes after 2 IVC injections,and 1 eye after 3 IVC *** absorption of VH was observed in all 74 eyes 5-50wk after initial treatment,with resolution of DME in 51 eyes 3-48wk after initial treatment.A newly developed epiretinal membrane was noted in one *** acuity significantly improved in 25 *** complications such as glaucoma,retinal detachment,or endophthalmitis were ***:The study suggests that the combination of PRP with IVC injections is an effective and safe modality for treating diabetic VH in patients with HR-PDR.

BACKGROUnD Hormone replacement therapy is an effective treatment strategy for the management of symptoms in naturally menopausal ***,some patients report experiencing adverse *** To analyze the effects of hormone replacement therapy in menopausal female *** A total of 152 menopausal female patients admitted to the Gynecology Department of the Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital between January 2021 and December 2023 were divided into the observation group(n=76,conventional treatment+hormone replacement therapy)and the control group(n=76,conventional treatment only)via random *** improvement observed in the following items were compared between the groups:Kupperman menopausal index(KMI),emotional state[The Positive and negative Affect Scale(PAnAS)],sleep quality[Self-Rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS)],treatment effectiveness,and treatment *** The modified KMI and SRSS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after three rounds of *** improvement in the PAnAS score observed in the observation group was greater than that observed in the control group(Pnt effectivity rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(86.84%vs 96.05%,χ2=4.121,P=0.042).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the two groups was comparable(6.58%vs 9.21%,χ2=0.361,P=0.547).COnCLUSIOn Hormone replacement therapy effectively improved the clinical symptoms,actively channeled negative emotions,and improved the quality of sleep in menopausal patients,indicating its effectiveness and safety.

Understanding the relationship between forest management and water use efficiency(WUE)is important for evaluating forest adaptability to climate ***,the effects of thinning and understory removal on WUE and its key controlling processes are not well understood,which limits our comprehension of the physiological mechanisms of various management *** this study,four forest management measures(no thinning:nT;understory removal:UR;light thinning:LT;and heavy thinning:HT)were carried out in Pinus massoniana plantations in a subtropical region of *** capacity and needle stable carbon isotope composition(δ^(13)C)were measured to assess instantaneous water use efficiency(WUE_(inst))and long-term water use efficiency(WUE_(i)).Multiple regression models and structural equation modelling(SEM)identified the effects of soil properties and physiological performances on WUE_(inst)and WUE_(i).The results show that WUE_(inst)values among the four treatments were ***,compared with the nT stand(35.8μmol·mol^(-1)),WUE_(i)values significantly increased to 41.7μmol·mol^(-1)in the UR,50.1μmol·mol^(-1)in the LT and 46.6μmol·mol^(-1)in HT treatments,largely explained by photosynthetic capacity and soil water *** removal did not change physiological performance(needle water potential and photosynthetic capacity).Thinning increased the net photosynthetic rate(A_n)but not stomatal conductance(g_s)or predawn needle water potential(ψ_(pd)),imply.ng that the improvement in water use efficiency for thinned stands was largely driven by radiation interception than by soil water *** general,thinning may be an appropriate management measure to promote *** WUE to cope with seasonal droughts under future extreme climates.

Background:The aim of the study was to investigate the changes in the periarterial capillary-free zone(paCFZ)after anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)therapy in patients with branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO)by widefield swept-source optical coherence tomography angiography(SS-OCTA)and assess their associations with clinical ***:In this retrospective observational study of 54 treatment-naive BRVO patients with macular edema,we reviewed the findings of 12×12 mm^(2)SS-OCTA at baseline,3,6,and 12 months after intravitreal ranibizumab *** paCFZ and major retinal artery areas were measured on SS-OCTA *** paCFZ area to artery area(P/A)ratio was ***:The paCFZ areas and P/A ratios of first-and second-order arteries were significantly greater in BRVO eyes than in contralateral eyes(all Pno differences in the first-and second-order artery areas(P=0.20 and 0.25,respectively).The paCFZ areas and P/A ratios decreased significantly at 3,6,and 12 months after anti-VEGF therapy(all Pne P/A ratio was significantly correlated with the baseline best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),central retinal thickness,and their improvements at 3,6,and 12 months(all Pne BCVA and P/A ratios of first-and second-order arteries were independently associated with the final BCVA in multivariate linear ***:Wide-field SS-OCTA shows that anti-VEGF therapy can lead to a significant improvement in the paCFZ parameters in *** baseline P/A ratios on SS-OCTA tend to predict better visual outcomes at 12 months after anti-VEGF therapy.
