The synthesis of a perpendicular growth structure of MoS_(2)nanosheets on graphene for efficient sodium storage is challenging yet ideal due to the benefits of open ion diffusion channels and high electronic *** this study,we have successfully fabricated a novel structure of vertical MoS_(2)nanosheets on graphene,with ZnS nanoparticles serving as bonding points(MoS_(2)/ZnS/G),through a facile hydrothermal *** the synthesis process,Zn^(2+)not only acts as a landing site for the vertical growth of MoS_(2)nanosheets but also triggers the formation of a defect-rich structure in the final *** unique architecture of MoS_(2)/ZnS/G effectively combines the advantages of a vertically aligned geometry and a defectrich structure for energy *** resulting structure displays shortened transport paths for electrons/ions,enhanced conductivity,improved structural integrity,and an increased number of active sites for promising electrochemical *** expected,when used as anode for sodium-ion batteries,the as-synthesize d MoS_(2)/ZnS/G exhibits excellent rate capability(high capacity of 298 mAh·g^(-1.at 5 A·g^(-1.)and good cycling stability(a capacity decay of 0.056%per cycle after 500 cycles at 1.A·g^(-1.).According to the kinetic investigations,the electrochemical process of the MoS_(2)/ZnS/G sample is primarily governe d by a pseudocapacitive behavior,which enhances the charge/discharge kinetics and allows the MoS_(2)/ZnS/G structure to remain intact during cycling.

Rheological Behaviors of Polymers with Nanoparticles Tethered at Each End

The polymer with nanoparticles tethered at each end is a unique model for unraveling the effect of chain ends on the polymer dynamics. We investigated the rheological behavior of this kind of polymer by using nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulation. The effect of polymer lengths and nanoparticle radii on the complex moduli and viscosity was examined. The dependence of complex moduli on the frequency becomes less pronounced as the polymer is short or the nanoparticle is large. The shear thinning behavior was revealed for these systems, and the scaling exponent of complex viscosity with respect to the frequency was found to change from-1.2 to-3/4 as the polymer shortens or the nanoparticle enlarges. The rheological behavior was further explained by analyzing the mean square distance of nanoparticles. The simulation results were compared with the existing experimental finding, showing an agreement. The work provides information for understanding the chain end effect on polymer rheology.

Cut-off value of glycated hemoglobin A1. for detecting diabetic retinopathy in the Chinese population

Experimental investigation on the anisotropy of friction property for dry and water-saturated rock

Microstructural Evolutions and Mechanical Properties of Energetic Al_(1. (TiZrNbTaMoCr)_(1.) High-Entropy Alloys

The present study focuses on investigating the microstructural evolutions and mechanical properties of energetic Al_(1.(TiZrNbTaMoCr)_(1.) refractory high-entropy alloys with the different heat treatments at low Al content state. It is found that even with a reduction in the Al content, the strength of these alloys remains unaffected at room temperature and high temperature, while the plasticity improves significantly. In particular, the coherent BCC/B_(2) microstructure with needle-like B_(2) nanoprecipitates dispersed into the BCC matrix is formed in 873 K-aged Al_(1.Ti_(6)Zr_(2)Nb_(3)Ta_(3)Mo_(0.5)Cr_(0.5) alloy. Therefore, this alloy exhibits the highest compression yield strength (σ_(YS) = 1.33 and 71. MPa) at room temperature and 1.73 K, respectively. After 973 K-aged, the coherent BCC/B_(2) microstructure underwent destabilization, and the B_(2) phase transforms into the brittle Zr5Al3 phase which then coarsens and dominates the microstructure of S3-AlTa_(3) alloy after 1.73 K-aged. Moreover, these current alloys exhibit exceptionally high theoretical exothermic enthalpy (ΔH), surpassing 1.606 J·g^(−1., which highlights their significant potential as innovative high-performance energetic structural materials.
