A cobalt（11） complex containing mixed-ligands of 1,10-phenathroline（phen） and glycollic acid（GA）.｜Co（GA）_2（phen）｜ was synthesized and its structure was characterized by X-ray *** interaction of the complex with DNA was investigated by electronic absorption spectra and electrochemical *** absorption spectrum experiments showed that after interaction with *** characteristic absorption peaks of ｜Co（GA）_2（phen）｜ underwent hypochromic effect as well as redshift. A nanocomposite of polyaniline/reduced graphene oxide（PANI-r GO） was synthesized using a hydrothermal method. The product was characterized by FT-IR, Raman spectra, XRD, SEM and *** the hybrid material of PANI-r GO and Nafion（PANI-rGO-NF） was prepared and used to modify glassy carbon electrode for the trace determination of dopamine（DA） employing differential pulse voltammetry（DPV）. It was found that the hybrid material showed good catalytic activity toward the oxidation of DA, and no response to ascorbic acid（AA） and uric acid（UA） was observed, suggesting a high selectivity of the sensor toward DA. The peak currents were linearly correlated with the concentration of DA in the range from 0.05 mmol/L to 60.0 mmol/L（R = 0.996） and 60.0 mmol/L to 180.0 mmol/L（R = 0.996） with a detection limit of 0.024 mmol/L（S/N = 3）. The modified electrode also exhibited excellent repeatability and stability.

A solvothermal process was developed for the preparation of cauliflower-like Bi2S3 from N,N-dimethylformamide （DMF） solution of bismuth nitrate [Bi（NO3）3.5H2O] and thioacetamide （TAA） with 2-undecyl-1-dithioureido-ethyl-imidazoline （SUDEI） as the morphology-controlling agent. The obtained Bi2S3 products were characterized by transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and X-ray diffraction （XRD）, etc. The sensing properties of Bi2S3 with different morphologies were evaluated by the electrochemical analysis of dopamine （DA） and ascorbic acid （AA） coexisting solution. The results showed that cauliflower-like Bi2S3 showed a better resolving ability than rod-like Bi2S3 for the simultaneous determination of DA and AA,

Digital watermarking has been proposed as a viable solution to protect the copyright of multimedia data in a networked environment, since it makes possible to embed identification codes into a digital document. This paper proposes a new scheme for image watermarking in which a watermark is embedded in a selected set of wavelet transform coefficients. To ensure the watermark invisibility with high robustness, a binary pseudo-random sequence is embedded into significant wavelet coefficients by exploiting Embedded Zerotree Wavelet (EZW) coding algorithm. Experimental results show the effectiveness of this technique.

Regulation of gut microbiota and its impact on human health is the theme of intensive *** incidence and prevalence of atrial fibrillation(AF)are continuously escalating as the global population ages and chronic disease survival rates increase;however,the mechanisms are not entirely *** is gaining awareness that alterations in the assembly,structure,and dynamics of gut microbiota are intimately engaged in the AF *** to advancements in next-generation sequencing technologies and computational strategies,researchers can explore novel linkages with the genomes,transcriptomes,proteomes,and metabolomes through parallel meta-omics approaches,rendering a panoramic view of the culture-independent microbial *** this review,we summarized the evidence for a bidirectional correlation between AF and the gut ***,we proposed the concept of“gut-immune-heart”axis and addressed the direct and indirect causal roots between the gut microbiome and *** intricate relationship was unveiled to generate innovative microbiota-based preventive and therapeutic interventions,which shed light on a definite direction for future experiments.

Heart failure(HF),which is a common and serious complication of diabetes,has received more attention in recent *** reason for this focus on HF is that,with a large reduction in atherothrombotic events after acute myocardial infarction,HF is a relatively more frequently encountered cardiac outcome in patients with type 2 diabetes(T2DM).Another reason is the unexpected reduction in hospitalization for HF observed in cardiovascular outcome trials with sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitors(SGLT2is).[1-3]These findings led to speculation by clinicians and researchers on whether more effort should be made to differentiate patients with diabetes at a high risk of developing HF.

A procedure for the synthesis of one-dimensional tetraaminophenylporphyrin (TAPP) was described. Quantitative infrared (IR) spectrum analysis of the monomer showed that it exhibited strong absorption at 1,621 cm-1. Results also indicated that the interaction between porphyrin macrocycles was enhanced after the metalloporphyrin linked up with the axial ligand. The degree of polymerization in [Mn(TPP)(pyz)]n was assessed using the ligand absorption rate.
