Semicrystalline Unfused Polymer Donors with Backbone Halogenation toward Cost-Effective Organic Solar Cells

Developing novel unfused building blocks with simple synthesis and low cost is essential to advance and enrich cost-effective poly-mer donors;however,it remains a challenge due to the lack of efficient molecular strategies.Herein,a class of low-cost and fully unfused polymer donors with precisely regulated backbone planarity via halogenation was designed and synthesized,namely PDTBTBz-2H,PDTBTBz-2F,and PDTBTBz-2Cl.These polymer donors possess a four-step synthesis route with over 80%yield from cheap raw chemicals comparable to existing low-cost polymer donors,such as PTQ10.Benefitting from the planar backbone via in-corporating the F…S non-covalent interactions,PDTBTBz-2F exhibits more robust J-type aggregation in solution and a long-ranged molecular stacking in film relative to PDTBTBz-2H and PDTBTBz-2Cl.Moreover,the systematical study of PDTBTBz-based organic so-lar cells(OSCs)reveals the close relationship between optimized molecular self-assembly and charge separation/transport regarding backbone halogenation when paired with the non-fullerene acceptor(Y6-BO-4F).As a result,the photovoltaic devices based on semicrystalline PDTBTBz-2F achieved a promising power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 12.37%.Our work highlighted the influence of backbone halogenation on the molecular self-assembly properties and a potential unfused backbone motif for further developing cost-effective OSCs.

Algorithm of automatic identification of diabetic retinopathy foci based on ultra-widefield scanning laser ophthalmoscopy

AIM:To propose an algorithm for automatic detection of diabetic retinopathy(DR)lesions based on ultra-widefield scanning laser ophthalmoscopy(SLO).METHODS:The algorithm utilized the FasterRCNN(Faster Regions with CNN features)+ResNet50(Residua Network 50)+FPN(Feature Pyramid Networks)method for detecting hemorrhagic spots,cotton wool spots,exudates,and microaneurysms in DR ultra-widefield SLO.subimage segmentation combined with a deeper residual network FasterRCNN+ResNet50 was employed for feature extraction to enhance intelligent learning rate.Feature fusion was carried out by the feature pyramid network FPN,which significantly improved lesion detection rates in SLO fundus images.REsuLTS:By analyzing 1076 ultra-widefield SLO images provided by our hospital,with a resolution of 2600×2048 dpi,the accuracy rates for hemorrhagic spots,cotton wool spots,exudates,and microaneurysms were found to be 87.23%,83.57%,86.75%,and 54.94%,respectively.CONCLUSION:The proposed algorithm demonstrates intelligent detection of DR lesions in ultra-widefield SLO,providing significant advantages over traditional fundus color imaging intelligent diagnosis algorithms.

Objective To investigate changes in the urinary metabolite profiles of children exposed to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)during critical brain development and explore their potential link with the intestinal microbiota.Methods Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was used to determine ten hydroxyl metabolites of PAHs(OH-PAHs)in 36-month-old children.subsequently,37 children were categorized into low-and high-exposure groups based on the sum of the ten OH-PAHs.Ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry was used to identify non-targeted metabolites in the urine samples.Furthermore,fecal flora abundance was assessed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing using Illumina MiSeq.Results The concentrations of 21 metabolites were significantly higher in the high exposure group than in the low exposure group(variable importance for projection>1,Psure in young children affected metabolic homeostasis,particularly that of certain gut microbiota-derived metabolites.Further investigation is needed to explore the potential influence of PAHs on the gut microbiota and their possible association with neurodevelopmental outcomes.

Assembly of two-dimensional(2D)metal–organic layers(MOLs)based on the hard and soft acid–base theorem represents an exquisite strategy for the construction of photocatalytic platforms in virtue of the highly exposed active sites,much improved mass transport,and greatly elevated stability.Herein,nanocages composed of MOLs are produced for the first time through a cosolvent approach utilizing zirconium-based UiO-66-(OH)2 as the structural precursor.To endow the catalytic activity for CO_(2) conversion,single atomic Co^(2+)sites are appended to the Zr-oxo nodes of the MOL cages,demonstrating a remarkable CO yield of 7.74 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1) and operational stability of 97.1%product retention after five repeated cycles.such an outstanding photocatalytic performance is mainly attributed to the unique nanocage morphology comprising enormous 2D nanosheets for augmented Co^(2+)exposure and the abundant surface hydroxyl groups for local CO_(2) enrichment.This work underlines the tailoring of both metal–organic framework(MOF)morphology and functionality to boost the turnover rate of photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).

Comparison of the signaling pathways of wing dimorphism regulated by biotic and abiotic stress in the brown planthopper

Wing polymorphism is an evolutionary trait that is widely present in various insects and provides a model system for studying the evolutionary significance of insect dispersal.The brown planthopper(BPH,Nilaparvata lugens)can alter its wing morphs un-der biotic and abiotic stress.However,whether differential signaling pathways are induced by the 2 types of stress remain largely unknown.Here,we screened a number of candidate genes through weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)and found that ornithine decarboxylase(NIODC),a key enzyme in the synthesis of polyamines,was as-sociated with wing differentiation in BPH and mainly responded to abiotic stress stimuli.We analyzed the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment pathways of dif-ferentially expressed genes under the 2 stresses by transcriptomic comparison,and found that biotic stress mainly influenced insulin-related signaling pathways while abiotic stress mainly influenced hormone-related pathways.Moreover,we found that insulin receptor 1(NllnRI)may regulate wing differentiation of BPH by responding to both biotic and abiotic stress,but NllnR2 only responded to biotic stress.Similarly,the juvenile hormone epoxide hydrolase associated with juvenile hormone degradation and NIODC may regu-late wing differentiation mainly through abiotic stress.A model based on the genes and stresses to modulate the wing dimorphism of BPH was proposed.These findings present a comprehensive molecular mechanism for wing polymorphism in BPH induced by biotic and abiotic stress.

Application of Echocardiography Combined with Blood SAA, IL-6, PCT, and CRP Detection in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Kawasaki Disease in Children

Objective: To understand the application of echocardiography combined with blood SAA, IL-6, PCT, and CRP detection in the diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease in children. Methods: 56 children with Kawasaki disease were selected as the study subjects as the treatment group, and 54 children with other diseases during the same period were selected as the control group. Echocardiography, blood SAA, IL-6, PCT and CRP were detected before and after treatment to observe the results of the two groups. A database was established to compare the changes of various indicators between the two groups, as well as the application value of each indicator in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease, and the pros and cons of the application of each indicator in the diagnosis and treatment of children with Kawasaki disease were analyzed, so as to provide a clearer early warning mechanism for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of children with Kawasaki disease. Results: There was no significant difference in the results of related imaging indexes in the control group before and after treatment (P > 0.05). Ligand dose-dependent activation of signaling pathways through the gustatory receptor NlGr11 linked to feeding efficacy in Nilaparvata lugens

Insects often face both conditions with sufficient nutrients and conditions of undernutrition in the field.Through gustatory receptors,insects sense nutrients and regulate their physiological functions such as feeding and reproduction.However,it remains unclear whether signaling pathways activated by gustatory receptors depend on the concentration of nutrients and whether the difference in signaling pathways directly affects insects’physiological functions.Herein,we found that a sugar gustatory receptor,NlGr11,from the brown planthopper(BPH),Nilaparvata lugens,activated G protein-coupled signaling and ionotropic pathways when bound to high galactose concentration.BPHs subsequently demonstrated longer feeding times,feeding loads,and higher vitellogenin(NlVg)expression than BPHs exposed to high galactose concentrations,which only activated the ionotropic pathway.For the first time,our findings link plant nutrient conditions,signaling pathways activated by nutrients,and their gustatory receptors,and nutrient dose-dependent feeding efficacy and vitellogenin(Vg)expression in an insect.This will help us to better understand the molecular mechanism for insect feeding strategies on plants at different stages of nutritional conditions.

针对仿冒商进入市场引起的消费者权益难以保证,正品市场份额被抢占,正常的市场秩序受到破坏等问题,在考虑同时受欺骗型和非欺骗型仿冒商威胁的情形下,正品制造商通过零售商进行转售或自有渠道直销的两种销售模式,建立Stackelberg博弈对比研究正品制造商的两种销售模式的均衡结果,分析正品制造商的销售模式选择策略,探讨其销售模式选择策略对两类仿冒商的打击效果以及对消费者剩余和社会福利的影响.研究结果表明:正品制造商可能不会为了维护消费者利益而选择直销模式;正品制造商选择直销模式的意愿随消费者在转售模式下对正品和欺骗型仿冒品的感知质量及欺骗型仿冒品质量的提高而减小,随非欺骗型仿冒品质量的提高而增大;正品制造商选择直销模式总能有效打击非欺骗型仿冒商,然而,对欺骗型仿冒商而言,在一定条件下,正品制造商会选择转售模式并容忍欺骗型仿冒商的存在;正品制造商选择直销模式能够提高消费者剩余和社会福利.

煤层透气性系数新的测试计算方法

煤层透气性系数是衡量煤层瓦斯流动难易程度的关键参数。现行的煤层透气性系数计算式中,将变压力非线性偏微分方程的系数假定为常数,理论推导结果存在较大缺陷,使得现场测定的透气性系数存在较大偏差。为解决煤层透气性系数测定失准的问题,推导了钻孔径向流量法测试煤层透气性系数的过程,并在推导过程中指出该方法存在的问题。以朗格缪尔式瓦斯含量和达西定律为基础,建立无量纲模型,将模型解算结果进行反演拟合,得到新的煤层透气性系数计算式,并通过现场实测钻孔数据进行验证,修正了现行的煤层透气性系数测试方法,提出准确可靠的计算煤层透气性系数的新方法。结果表明:用抛物线式表示煤层瓦斯含量并将变量煤层瓦斯压力p^(1.5)视为常量推导而来的煤层透气性系数计算式,相当于将瓦斯含量拟合成与压力平方成正比关系,理论与实际测算均存在较大误差。采用朗格缪尔式无量纲模型计算出的无因次瓦斯涌出速度Y’进行反演拟合,可解决现行计算方法的缺陷;当吸附常数b与原始瓦斯压力p_(0)的乘积(无因次原始瓦斯压力)不同时,Y’与无因次时间Fo’的函数曲线明显不同,由此得到了含有无因次原始瓦斯压力的透气性系数计算式;当煤层和钻孔条件一定时,由不同时间测试的瓦斯涌出量计算得到的煤层透气性系数λ值具有良好的再现性。新的煤层透气性系数现场测定方法与现行方法完全相同,不增加额外工作量,但新方法的计算更加精确可靠。

Evaluation and Projection of Population Exposure to Temperature Extremes over the Beijing−Tianjin−Hebei Region Using a High-Resolution Regional Climate Model RegCM4 Ensemble

Temperature extremes over rapidly urbanizing regions with high population densities have been scrutinized due to their severe impacts on human safety and economics.First of all,the performance of the regional climate model RegCM4 with a hydrostatic or non-hydrostatic dynamic core in simulating seasonal temperature and temperature extremes was evaluated over the historical period of 1991–99 at a 12-km spatial resolution over China and a 3-km resolution over the Beijing−Tianjin−Hebei(JJJ)region,a typical urban agglomeration of China.Simulations of spatial distributions of temperature extremes over the JJJ region using RegCM4 with hydrostatic and non-hydrostatic cores showed high spatial correlations of more than 0.8 with the observations.Under a warming climate,temperature extremes of annual maximum daily temperature(TXx)and summer days(su)in China and the JJJ region showed obvious increases by the end of the 21st century while there was a general reduction in frost days(FD).The ensemble of RegCM4 with different land surface components was used to examine population exposure to temperature extremes over the JJJ region.Population exposure to temperature extremes was found to decrease in 2091−99 relative to 1991−99 over the majority of the JJJ region due to the joint impacts of increases in temperature extremes over the JJJ and population decreases over the JJJ region,except for downtown areas.Furthermore,changes in population exposure to temperature extremes were mainly dominated by future population changes.Finally,we quantified changes in exposure to temperature extremes with temperature increase over the JJJ region.This study helps to provide relevant policies to respond future climate risks over the JJJ region.
