Five water-soluble poly(aminoheterocyclic amine)s containing s-triazole ring were synthesized as respective HC1 salts (5a-5e). Biological activities in L1210 (murine leukemia) and Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell lines were investigated via IC50 cytotoxicity determinations. The tide compounds represented moderate cytotoxicity (low IC50 values between 15 and 68μmol/L) in L1210 but high cytotoxicity (lower IC50 values: 0.25,0.018,0.014μmol/L for Sa-5e, respectively) in CHO cell lines, while the corresponding HC1 salts of the intermediates (3a-3e) without polyamine tether and starting materials amino-s-triazoles (1a-1e) showed poor or no activities against the above cell lines.

A new dinuclear La（Ⅲ） complex [La2（4-cba）4[H（4-cba）2]2（phen）2（H2O）4] （4-Hcba = 4-cyanobenzoic acid and phen = 1,10-phenanthroline） 1 has been synthesized by solvothermal reaction in an ethanol/water mixed solution at 100 ℃ and structurally characterized by singlecrystal X-ray diffraction. Crystallographic data： C88H58La2N12O20, Mr = 1881.28, triclinic P1, a = 7.518（3）, b = 17.033（6）, c = 17.551（6）A, α = 115.333（4）, β = 92.9910（10）, γ = 99.366（5）°, V = 1985.3（12）A^3, Z = 1, Dc = 1.574 g/cm^3, F（000） = 944 μ = 1.145 mm^–1, the final R = 0.0281 and wR = 0.0686 for 6708 reflections with Ⅰ 〉 2σ（I）. In 1, two nine-coordinated La（Ⅲ） ions are connected by two 4-cba ligands in a syn-syn bidentate coordination mode, and the other six 4-cba ligands terminate the La（Ⅲ） ions, resulting in an isolated dinuclear structure. Two different types of intramolecular hydrogen bonds, asymmetrical O-H…O and symmetrical O…H…O, exist in the crystal. The title complex molecules are connected through hydrogen bonds and weak π-π stacking interactions to generate a 2-D layered network. The thermogravimetric analysis of 1 has also been discussed.

AIM:To estimate the cost-benefit of endoscopic screening strategies of esophageal cancer(EC)in high-risk areas of China. METHODS:Markov model-based analyses were conducted to compare the net present values(NPVs)and the benefit-cost ratios(BCRs)of 12 EC endoscopic screening *** varied according to the targeted screening age,screening frequencies,and follow-up *** parameters were collected from population-based studies in China,published literatures,and surveillance data. RESULTS:Compared with non-screening outcomes,all strategies with hypothetical 100 000 subjects saved life *** five dominant strategies determined by the incremental cost-effectiveness analysis,screening once at age 50 years incurred the lowest NPV(international dollar-I$55 million)and BCR(2.52).Screening six times between 40-70 years at a 5-year interval[i.e., six times(40)f-strategy]yielded the highest NPV(I$99 million)and BCR(3.06).Compared with six times(40)fstrategy,screening thrice between 40-70 years at a 10-year interval resulted in relatively lower NPV,but the same BCR. CONCLUSION:EC endoscopic screening is cost-beneficial in high-risk areas of ***-makers should consider the cost-benefit,population acceptance,and local economic status when choosing suitable screening strategies.

In recent years,several RGD(Arg-Gly-Asp)-based radiotracers have already been successfully tested in human for the visualization of integrin αvβ3,demonstrating its feasibility in tumor *** this paper,we evaluated the 99mTc-3P4-RGD2 single photon emission computed tomography/computerized tomography(SPECT/CT)in patients suffering from space occupying disease of esophagus.40 patients(34 males and 6 female;mean age: 58.3 years) with a suspected space occupying lesion of esophagus were included,thus finally obtaining their definite pathologic diagnosis(malignant,n=32;benign,n=8).All patients underwent endoscopic,barium esophagography and SPECT/CT imaging *** chest SPECT was performed at 4 h after administration of99mTc-3P4-RGD2 with a dose of 939±118 *** diagnosis precision,sensitivity and specificity among these methods were *** relationship between radioactive uptake and clinical pathological stage of esophageal carcinoma was discussed by calculating the tumor to normal esophagus(T/N).Meanwhile,the integrin αvβ3 expression was assessed immunohistochemically in postoperative esophageal tissues.31 patients were diagnosed as esophageal carcinoma;and 1,leiomyosarcoma;and ***;and 2,esophageal *** accuracy,sensitivity and specificity of barium esophagography,endoscopic and SPECT/CT imaging are 92.5/93.8/87.5%,97.5/96.9/100%,and 90/90.6/87.5%,*** accumulation of radiotracer in 29 malignant lesions is *** SPECT/CT imaging displayed the region of radioactive uptake and lesions matched extremely with the T/N ratio from 1.31 to 2.79(mean 2.04).A case with pulmonary metastases and a case with mediastinal lymph node metastases were found which were missed by barium esophagography and ***99mTc-3P4-RGD2 uptake of the esophageal carcinoma masses had no relevance to the tumor pathologic classification(P>0.05).There was a significant positive correlation between T/N ratio and positive cell per

In the paper, a new biodegradable polyurethane（PU, PU-I） was prepared： the prepolymer was synthesized via bulk ring-opening polymerization with poly（ethylene glycol）（M_n= 600）（PEG600） as an initiator and L-lactide（L-LA）, e-caprolactone（CL） as monomers, and the prepolymer was chain-extended with an isocyanate-terminated urethane triblock（macrodiisocyanate） to prepare the PU. The macrodiisocyanate, prepolymer and PUs were characterized by^1H NMR,^（13）C NMR, FT-IR, high resolution mass spectrometry（HR-MS）, gel permeation chromatography（GPC）, thermo gravimetric analysis（TGA）,and differential scanning calorimetry（DSC）. The corresponding PU films showed excellent mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 27.5 MPa and an elongation at break of 996%, and also maintained mechanical properties in physiological saline at 37℃ for more than three weeks, which appeared to be more suitable for biomedical applications.
