Design of novel RGO/2D strip-like ZIF-8/DMAOP ternary hybrid structure towards high-efficiency microwave absorption, active and passive anti-corrosion, and synergistic antibacterial performance

In order to meet the requirements of the marine environment for microwave absorption(MA)materials,we put forward the strategy of constructing multi-functional composite materials,which integrate microwave absorption,anti-corrosion,and antibacterial ***,graphene oxide(GO)was used as a template to induce the growth of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8),simultaneously as a two-dimensional(2D)nanocontainers to load corrosion inhibitors to achieve pH-responsive and self-healing ***,quaternary ammonium salt(dimethyl octadecyl(3-trimethoxylsilyl propyl)ammonium chloride(DMAOP))and sodium ascorbate(VCNa)were introduced to achieve synergistic antibacterial activity and the reduction of *** 2D strip-like structure of ZIF-8 was due to the confined growth induced by the electrostatic attraction between ZIF-8 and GO *** as-obtained reduced GO(RGO)/ZIF-8/DMAOP5 exhibited excellent microwave absorption(MA)properties,with a minimum reflection loss(RL)value of-47.08 dB at 12.73 GHz when the thickness was 2.8 ***,the effective absorption bandwidth reached 6.84 *** soaking in 3.5%NaCl solution for 35 days,the RGO/ZIF-8/DMAOP5-0.7%coating still achieved an impedance value of 4.585×107Ω·cm^(2) and a protective efficiency of 99.994%,providing superior anti-corrosion *** addition,fantastic antibacterial activity was obtained,with the antibacterial rates of RGO/ZIF-8/DMAOP_(10) reaching 99.39%and 100%against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus *** work could open new avenues towards the development of a new generation of multifunctional MA materials.

Response mechanism of soil microorganisms to simulated precipitation in the source wetland of qinghai Lake

Background Changes in precipitation patterns crucially impact soil microbial communities, and the ecosystem in qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP) is highly vulnerable to climate change. However, we do not fully understand how soil microbial communities in the source wetlands of QTP respond to changes in precipitation. In this study, we employed advanced techniques such as high-throughput sequencing and metabolomics to investigate how soil microbial communities in a source wetland of qinghai Lake respond to changes in precipitation after quadrennial precipitation *** Our findings showed that the predominant microbiota in the source wetland was Proteobacteria. Interestingly, alterations in precipitation levels, whether increased or reduced, did not significantly impact the diversity or functional groups of the microbial community. However, the structure of the microbial community did respond notably to changes in precipitation, leading to shifts in the relative abundance of Spirochaetes and Treponema. A notable finding was that reduced precipitation levels(– 25% and-50%) and mild increases in precipitation(25%) within the region contributed to increased soil carbon content. However, this effect ceased to manifest when precipitation increased by 50%. Additionally, the reduction in precipitation prompted the release of soil metabolites like syringic acid and aldosterone, while enhanced precipitation resulted in a decrease in aldosterone *** Precipitation changes altered the relative abundance of soil microbial communities and metabolites, which was conducive to increasing carbon storage in this alpine wetland.

As a carrier of knowledge,papers have been a popular choice since ancient times for documenting everything from major historical events to breakthroughs in science and *** the booming development of science and technology,the number of papers has been growing *** like the fact that Internet of Things(IoT)allows the world to be connected in a flatter way,how will the network formed by massive academic papers look like?Most existing visualization methods can only handle up to hundreds of thousands of node size,which is much smaller than that of academic networks which are usually composed of millions or even more *** this paper,we are thus motivated to break this scale limit and design a new visualization method particularly for super-large-scale academic networks(VSAN).Nodes can represent papers or authors while the edges means the relation(e.g.,citation,coauthorship)between *** order to comprehensively improve the visualization effect,three levels of optimization are taken into account in the whole design of VSAN in a progressive manner,i.e.,bearing scale,loading speed,and effect of layout *** main contributions are two folded:(1)We design an equivalent segmentation layout method that goes beyond the limit encountered by state-of-the-arts,thus ensuring the possibility of visually revealing the correlations of larger-scale academic entities.(2)We further propose a hierarchical slice loading approach that enables users to observe the visualized graphs of the academic network at both macroscopic and microscopic levels,with the ability to quickly zoom between different *** addition,we propose a“jumping between nebula graphs”method that connects the static pages of many academic graphs and helps users to form a more systematic and comprehensive understanding of various academic *** our methods to three academic paper citation datasets in the AceMap database confirms the visualization scalability of VSAN in t

Effect of ceramic work rolls on surface roughness of rolled SUS304 ultra-thin strips

Surface morphology and roughness are important parameters of surface quality of cold-rolled ultra-thin strip *** order to study the effect of Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic work rolls on the surface roughness of SUS304 ultra-thin strip,ABAQUS finite element model calculation,3D laser profilometry,and other methods were adopted based on the physical characteristics of Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic roll and 9Cr2MoV steel roll,like anti-flattening performance and oil *** surface morphology and roughness of SUS304 ultra-thin strip rolled by different material work rolls under oil lubrication conditions were *** results showed that under the rolling force of 10 kN,the maximum flattening amount of Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic roll was reduced by 35.14%compared to that of 9Cr2MoV steel *** reduction rate of SUS304 ultra-thin strip rolled by ceramic roll was 34.19%,while that rolled by steel roll was only 22%;Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic roll can further increase the number of alternating convex peaks and concave valleys in the rolled thin strip,reduce the profile steepness,reduce surface roughness,and enhance the planarization effect of surface micro-convex bodies,with improving surface quality and surface ***,the mechanism of Si_(3)N_(4) ceramic roll significantly improving the surface roughness of rolled SUS304 ultra-thin strip was proposed.

Scenario Modeling-Aided AP Placement Optimization Method for Indoor Localization and Network Access

Owing to the ubiquity of wireless networks and the popularity of WiFi infrastructures,received signal strength(RSS)-based indoor localization systems have received much *** placement of access points(APs)significantly influences localization accuracy and network ***,the indoor scenario and network access are not fully considered in previous AP placement optimization *** study proposes a practical scenario modelingaided AP placement optimization method for improving localization accuracy and network *** order to reduce the gap between simulation-based and field measurement-based AP placement optimization methods,we introduce an indoor scenario modeling and Gaussian process-based RSS prediction *** that,the localization and network access metrics are implemented in the multiple objective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO)solution,Pareto front criterion and virtual repulsion force are applied to determine the optimal AP ***,field experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed indoor scenario modeling method and RSS prediction model.A thorough comparison confirms the localization and network access improvement attributed to the proposed anchor placement method.

Force spectrum measurements with constant loading rates are widely used in single-molecule manipulation experiments to study the mechanical stability and force response of ***-dependent transition rates can be obtained from the transition force distribution,but it is limited to the force range with non-zero force *** constant loading rate control can be realized with magnetic tweezers,the loading rate range is limited due to the slow movement of permanent ***-linear exponential and exponential squared force loading functions are more feasible in magnetic tweezers,while there is no theoretical result available for these two kinds of non-linear force loading *** this study,we solved the unfolding process of a protein following Bell's model under nonlinear exponential and exponential squared force loading functions,which offer a broader range of unfolding force distribution compared to the traditional constant loading rate ***,we derived two force loading functions,which can produce uniform unfolding force *** research contributes fundamental equations for the analysis of experimental data obtained through single-molecule manipulation under nonlinear force loading controls,paving the way for the use of nonlinear force control in magnetic tweezer experiments.

Effects of cement-enhanced soil on the ultimate lateral resistance of composite pile in clayey soil

The composite pile consisting of core-pile and surrounding cement-enhanced soil is a promising pile foundation in recent ***,how and to what extent the cement-enhanced soil influences the ultimate lateral resistance has not been fully *** this paper,the ultimate lateral resistance of the composite pile was studied by finite element limit analysis(FELA)and theoretical upper-bound *** results of FELA and theoretical analysis revealed three failure modes of laterally loaded composite *** effects of the enhanced soil thickness,strength,and pile-enhanced soil interface characteristics on the ultimate lateral resistance were *** results show that increasing the enhanced soil thickness leads to a significant improvement on ultimate lateral resistance factor(N P),and there is a critical thickness beyond which the thickness no longer affects the N *** the enhanced soil strength induced 6.2%-232.6%increase of N ***,no noticeable impact was detected when the enhanced soil strength was eight times higher than that of the natural *** maximum increment of N P is only 30.5%caused by the increase of interface adhesion factor(a).An empirical model was developed to calculate the N P of the composite pile,and the results show excellent agreement with the analytical results.

Preparation of yttrium oxide coating with enhanced thermal shock resistance on refractories used for titanium alloy melting and casting

In order to enhance the service life of refractories for melting and casting of titanium alloy,preparation of yttrium oxide coatings on the refractories surface is an effective *** improvement of thermal shock stability of the coating is beneficial to its spalling resistance during the high-temperature service,and the available slurry with good performance is the *** effects of the varieties and contents of dispersant(sodium tripolyphosphate,sodium hexametaphosphate,sodium pyrophosphate,citric acid and polycarboxylate ammonium salt)and binder(aluminum dihydrogen phosphate,zirconium acetate and yttria sol)on the stability,rheological and thixotropic properties of yttrium oxide waterbased slurry were investigated,and the effects of slurry composition design on the thermal shock resistance of the coating were *** results showed that the introduction of polycarboxylate ammonium salt as dispersant significantly improved the stability of the slurry,and the varieties of the binders had significant effects on the dispersibility of the *** aluminum dihydrogen phosphate and polycarboxylate ammonium salt were used as binder and dispersant,respectively,the slurry had better stability,suitable rheological and thixotropic *** using aluminum dihydrogen phosphate as binder,the coating had good thermal shock resistance and no obvious cracks were observed for the coating after thermal shock,which was attributed to the yttrium aluminate binding phase generated in the *** effective method was provided for preparing yttrium oxide coatings with enhanced thermal shock resistance applied in the process of titanium alloy melting and casting.
