Nanodiamond/Ti3C2 MXene-coated quartz crystal microbalance humidity sensor with high sensitivity and high quality factor

To address the challenge of achieving both high sensitivity and a high quality factor in quartz crystal microbalance（QCM） humidity sensors,a nanodiamond（ND）/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was fabricated.The material characteristics of ND,Ti3C2MXene,and ND/Ti3C2MXene composite were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy（TEM） and Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） spectroscopy.The experimental results demonstrated that the hydrophilic ND nanoparticles coated on Ti3C2MXene nanosheet prevented the self-stacking of Ti3C2MXene and enhanced the sensitivity of Ti3C2MXene-based QCM humidity sensor.Moreover,the high mechanical modulus of Ti3C2MXene material helped ND/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor to achieve a high quality factor（> 20,000）.ND/Ti3C2MXene compositecoated QCM humidity sensor exhibited a sensitivity of 82.45 Hz/%RH,a humidity hysteresis of 1.1 %RH,fast response/recovery times,acceptable repeatability,and good stability from 11.3%RH to 97.3%RH.The response mechanism of ND/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was analyzed in combination with a bi-exponential kinetic adsorption model.Finally,the potential application of ND/Ti3C2MXene composite-coated QCM humidity sensor was demonstrated through its frequency response to wooden blocks with different moisture contents.

Catheter ablation is an important therapy for atrial fibrillation （AF） in the last decade. In parallel, atrial tachycardia （AT） has become the most common type of arrhythmia after AF ablation, especially after extensive left atrial （LA） substrate modification,t^j The occurrence of AT after AF is due to the conduction gaps of ablation lines and the conduction obstacle caused by the ablation lesions？-~1 Most of these ATs locate in LA, and here, we described a biatrial macroreentry AT （MAT） after AF ablation.

Embedding thread lift rhytidectomy,also known as“thread lifting”in China,with the natures of simple operation,less trauma and quick recovery,is progressively used in clinical practice as a new technology of face lifting.Herewith,a brief introduction of the previous advances of thread lifting techniques and materials in the facial beauty industry,combined with the discussion on various types of sutures,common complications,and the site of actions were provided.The main limitations of present thread lifting material include:(1)the use of non-absorbable sutures is liable to cause allergies and a series of complications;(2)the absorbable sutures are easily degradation,and people need to reshape in a relatively short period.Therefore,the high biocompatible spider silk was proposed as a novel material of thread lifting suture and related devices,the advantages and preliminary achievements on spider silk were also addressed.

Robust Regularization Design of Graph Neural Networks Against Adversarial Attacks Based on Lyapunov Theory

The robustness of graph neural networks（GNNs） is a critical research topic in deep learning.Many researchers have designed regularization methods to enhance the robustness of neural networks,but there is a lack of theoretical analysis on the principle of robustness.In order to tackle the weakness of current robustness designing methods,this paper gives new insights into how to guarantee the robustness of GNNs.A novel regularization strategy named Lya-Reg is designed to guarantee the robustness of GNNs by Lyapunov theory.Our results give new insights into how regularization can mitigate the various adversarial effects on different graph signals.Extensive experiments on various public datasets demonstrate that the proposed regularization method is more robust than the state-of-theart methods such as L1-norm,L2-norm,L2-norm,Pro-GNN,PA-GNN and GARNET against various types of graph adversarial attacks.

Effect of short neuropeptide F signaling on larval feeding in Mythimna separata

Mythimna separata is a notorious phytophagous pest which poses serious threats to cereal crops owing to the gluttony of the larvae.Because short neuropeptide F(sNPF)and its receptor sNPFR are involved in a diversity of physiological functions,especially in functions related to feeding in insects,it is a molecular target for pest control.Herein,an sNPF and 2 sNPFRs were identified and cloned from M.separata.Bioinformatics analysis revealed that the sNPF and its receptors had a highly conserved RLRFamide C-terminus and 7 transmembrane domains,respectively.The sNPF and its receptor genes were distributed across larval periods and tissues,but 2 receptors had distinct expression patterns.The starvation-induced assay elucidated that sNPF and sNPFR expression levels were downregulated under food deprivation and recovered with subsequent re-feeding.RNA interference knockdown of sNPF,sNPFR1,and sNPFR2 by injection of double-stranded RNA into larvae not only suppressed food consumption and increased body size and weight,but also led to decrease of glycogen and total lipid contents,and increase of trehalose compared with double-stranded green fluorescent protein injection.Furthermore,molecular docking was performed on the interaction mode between sNPFR protein and its ligand sNPF based on the 3-dimensional models constructed by AlphaFold;the results indicated that both receptors were presumably activated by the mature peptide sNPF-2.These results revealed that sNPF signaling played a considerably vital role in the feeding regulation of M.separata and represents a potential control target for this pest.

Inetetamab combined with tegafur as second-line treatment for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2-positive gastric cancer: A case report

BACKGROUND Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER-2)plays a vital role in tumor cell proliferation and metastasis.However,the prognosis of HER2-positive gastric cancer is poor.Inetetamab,a novel anti-HER2 targeting drug independently developed in China,exhibits more potent antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity than trastuzumab,which is administered as the first-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric cancer in combination with chemotherapy.In this case,the efficacy and safety of inetetamab combined with tegafur was investigated as a second-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric cancer.CASE SUMMARY A 52-year-old male patient with HER2-positive gastric cancer presented with abdominal distension,poor appetite,and fatigue two years after receiving six cycles of oxaliplatin combined with tegafur as first-line treatment after surgery,followed by tegafur monotherapy for six months.The patient was diagnosed with postoperative recurrence of gastric adenocarcinoma.He received 17 cycles of a combination of inetetamab,an innovative domestically developed anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody,and tegafur chemotherapy as the second-line treatment(inetetamab 200 mg on day 1,every 3 wk combined with tegafur twice daily on days 1–14,every 3 wk).Evaluation of the efficacy of the second-line treatment revealed that the patient achieved a stable condition and progression-free survival of 17 months.He tolerated the treatment well without exhibiting any grade 3-4 adverse events.CONCLUSION Inetetamab combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of metastatic HER2-positive gastric cancer demonstrates significant survival benefits and acceptable safety.

Comparative studies on Fenton-like reactions catalyzed by Fe_(3)O_(4) loaded inside and outside halloysite nanotubes for the removal of organic pollutants

In this work,Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles(NPs)loaded inside and outside halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)were prepared and developed as the heterogeneous Fenton-like catalysts for the removal of representative organic pollutants.Characterization results indicated that the samples with Fe_(3)O_(4) NPs loaded outside the HNTs lumen(Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs)and inside the HNTs lumen(Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs)were successfully prepared.Both samples had typical magnetic hysteresis loops,while Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs exhibited higher magnetization intensity.The comparative experiments showed that Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs had better Fenton-like catalytic ability than that of Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs in the degradation of various organic pollutants.Taking Rhodamine B(RhB)as an example,the adsorption thermodynamics and kinetics of RhB onto Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs and Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs were also investigated.The comparative results demonstrated that the adsorption ability of Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs was better than that of Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs.Moreover,the dissolved concentration of Fe^(2+)and production amount of hydroxyl radical(·OH)in the Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs-H_(2)O_(2) system were significantly higher than those in the Fe_(3)O_(4)/HNTs-H_(2)O_(2) system.Based on aforementioned comparison,the nano-confinement effect in the Fe_(3)O_(4)@HNTs-H_(2)O_(2) system was verified.This work provides meaningful guidance for the cheap and convenient design of nanoreactors for Fenton-like applications.

Bacterial biofilms present a significant challenge in treating drug-resistant infections,necessitating the development of innovative nanomedicines.In this study,we introduce triclosan-conjugated,lipase-responsive polymeric micelles designed to exploit biofilm properties and serve as a responsive drug delivery platform.The micelles were created using an amphiphilic block polymer synthesized via ring-opening polymerization ofε-caprolactone(CL)and triclosan-containing cyclic trimethylene carbonate(MTC-Tri).Poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG-OH)acted as the macro-initiator,resulting in micelles with a PEG shell that facilitated their penetration into bacterial biofilms.An important advantage of our micelles lies in their interaction with local bacterial lipases within biofilms.These lipases triggered rapid micelle degradation,releasing triclosan in a controlled manner.This liberated triclosan effectively eliminated bacteria embedded in the biofilms.Notably,the triclosan-conjugated micelles displayed minimal toxicity to murine fibroblasts,indicating their biocompatibility and safety.This finding emphasizes the potential application of these micelles in combatting drug resistance observed in bacterial biofilms.Our triclosan-conjugated,lipase-responsive polymeric micelles exhibit promising characteristics for addressing drug resistance in bacterial biofilms.By harnessing biofilm properties and implementing a responsive drug delivery system,we seek to provide an effective solution in the fight against drug-resistant bacteria.

Monotropein Induced Apoptosis and Suppressed Cell Cycle Progression in Colorectal Cancer Cells

Objective: To determine whether monotropein has an anticancer effect and explore its potential mechanisms against colorectal cancer(CRC) through network pharmacology and molecular docking combined with experimental verification. Methods: Network pharmacology and molecular docking were used to predict potential targets of monotropein against CRC. Cell counting kit assay, plate monoclonal assay and microscopic observation were used to investigate the antiproliferative effects of monotropein on CRC cells HCT116, HT29 and LoVo. Flow cytometry and scratch assay were used to analyze apoptosis and cell cycle, as well as cell migration, respectively in HCT116, HT29, and LoVo cells. Western blotting was used to detect the expression of proteins related to apoptosis, cell cycle, and cell migration, and the expression of proteins key to the Akt pathway. Results: The Gene Ontology and Reactome enrichment analyses indicated that the anticancer potential of monotropein against CRC might be involved in multiple cancer-related signaling pathways. Among these pathways, RAC-beta serine/threonine-protein kinase(Akt1, Akt2), cyclin-dependent kinase 6(CDK6), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP9), epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR), cell division control protein 42 homolog(CDC42) were shown as the potential anticancer targets of monotropein against CRC. Molecular docking suggested that monotropein may interact with the 6 targets(Akt1, Akt2, CDK6, MMP9, EGFR, CDC42). Subsequently, cell activity of HCT116, HT29 and LoVo cell lines were significantly suppressed by monotropein(PlinD1, CDK4 and CDK6, inhibited cell migration by suppressing the expressions of CDC42 and MMP9(Pling pathway. An efficient N–H and C(sp~3)-H functionalization of aryl ketones with benzylamines/amino acids was developed under mild conditions by virtue of anodic oxidation. A variety of functionalized 2,5-diaryloxazoles were obtained with good to excellent yields. Moreover, some important natural products can be prepared by this method. The reaction features a broad substrate scope, scalability, metal-free and chemical oxidant-free.
